African Rock Lodge

Thank you very much for the wonderful moments we pass in the lodge. Everything was perfect and all the team do the best to make our stay memorable. The food and cooking were delicious and we were pleased to get a lot of advices for our family activities. Thank you so much for all. We warmly recommand African Rock Lodge for a great trip in Kuger National Park. We will stay again and recommand this lodge to family and friends.

Sander and Juliet gave us a fantastic welcome and looked after our every need. A successful trip for all split between work and play in this wonderful Limpopo region. We look forward to organizing next year's trip at the African Rock Lodge !!

Exceeded our high expectations. The African rock Lodge is a beautifully located incredibly well run boutique Lodge in a mini wildlife estate. Anyone passing through the area should take advantage of staying at this marvelous location. We enjoyed the setting, especially being able to walk around with plains game, rolling through the wildlife estate we chose to have our dinners at the Rock Lodge and were very impressed with the quality of food and the selection. we have stayed at many top-tier private lodges in the Sabi sands and the food here rivals any of the food that we’ve had. We will definitely be back on our next trip to the Greater Kruger area.

We were delighted with African Rock Lodge, with only around 5 rooms, ideal for a quiet peaceful stay in a secure reserve. Great seeing animals wondering around the area. Our room was beautifully fitted out with tastefully authentic African artifacts. The room was exceptionally clean and cleaned every day. The cook for the Braii was excellent and never tasted such soft flavoured fresh meat (I don't usually eat a lot of meat but could not resist having it. The breakfast was superb with so much choice. Staff are excellent and extremely helpful. The garden area has been so well thought out and everything well kept also the pool was a bonus during the hot weather. The whole lodge is kept exceptionally clean and well decorated in an African theme. The hosts Sander and Juliet are wonderful hosts. We originally booked for 3 days but extended for 7 days!! Thanks again Sander and Juliet hopefully one day we may return. Christine and Mike - UK

Wonderful place to stay. Situated in a wildlife estate with giraffes, warthogs and antelopes outside the bedroom window, and hushbabies, monkeys and mongoose around the lodge Sander and his family were perfect hosts. The food was delicious and the accommodation was comfortable and very clean.

Sander and his team made our stay very comfortable and they could not do enough for us. The location and rooms are very nice and breakfast was excellent. We did not have dinner as we were meeting friends in town. We would definitely stay again.
