It has been four years since I was here. Still a great place close to all the shops and travel agencies and restaurants. It is only a short distance to the night street walking area but shielded from the noise. This is family run hotel (better word than hostel) however sadly the husband passed away so the mother and two daughters run it. Highly recommended for a short or longer stay.

Wir verbrachten vier Nächte in diesem Hostel, um die Stadt und Umgebung zu erkunden. Dafür eignet sich der Ort perfekt, da man viele Orte leicht zu Fuß oder mit den günstigen Taxen (Grab) erreichen kann, aber auch viele Agenturen oder Busse ihre Tour in der Nähe starten. Die Bui Vien Straße hört man nachts etwas durch die Fenster, ich fand es aber in Ordnung. Das Hostel ist eigentlich eher ein einfaches Hotel: eigener Kühlschrank, eigenes Bad, täglicher Zimmerservice und Wasser sowie Bananen. Die Gemeinschaftsküche war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Personal ist eine große Familie und können kaum Englisch, aber sie sind freundlich und mit Google Übersetzer kamen wir auch weiter. Vor Ort haben wir spontan noch eine Nacht länger buchen können. Die Dachterrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Nebenan ist eine Wäscherei, wo man angenehm für wenige Euros waschen kann. Die Betten sind etwas hart. Leider gab es kaum andere europäische Gäste zu unserer Zeit, sodass es keinen „Hostel-Vibe“ gab, aber das liegt eher noch an der generellen Abwesenheit von Europäern im Moment in Vietnam, a.e. durch Covid. Und nicht verwirrt sein, das Bild des Hostels von außen entspricht nicht der Wahrheit, es liegt recht versteckt in einer kleinen Gasse. Insgesamt wirklich zu empfehlen.
