Hotel terme a Heviz

La recomandarea unei foste colege de liceu care acum este stabilită în Ungaria am decis împreună cu soția să petrecem un sejur de 5 nopți la Heviz, în drumul nostru anual spre Austria și am decis sa alegem acest hotel, fiind cel mai bine cotat atât ca stele cât și în recenziile găsite pe diferite site-uri de călătorii. Am sosit cu două ore mai devreme decât ora de check-in, dar cu multă amabilitate, am fost cazați deîndată. Camera dublă superior+ pe care am ales-o, cu vedere spre piscină, adică spre curtea interioară a hotelului, a fost o alegere bună, deși nu cred că ar fi fost vre-un dezavantaj dacă alegeam o camera cu vedere spre parc și oraș. Facilitățile de SPA și bazinele, atât cele interioare cât și cel exterior, sunt extrem de curate și bine întreținute, apa din bazinele interioare având temperaturi diferite, pe placul tuturor. Am optat pentru un regim de cazare cu demipensiune (mic dejun și cină) și am fost foarte multumiți de bogăția și varietatea de mâncăruri oferite. Recomand cu căldură! On the recommendation of a former high school colleague who is now settled in Hungary, my wife and I decided to spend a 5-night stay in Heviz, on our annual trip to Austria, and we decided to choose this hotel, being the best rated in stars as well as in reviews found on various travel sites. We arrived two hours earlier than check-in time, but very kindly, we were accommodated immediately. The superior + double room I chose, overlooking the pool, in the inner courtyard of the hotel, was a good choice, although I don't think it would have been a disadvantage if I chose a room overlooking the park and the city. The SPA facilities and the pools, both indoor and outdoor, are extremely clean and well maintained, the water in the indoor pools having different temperatures, to everyone's liking. We opted for a half board accommodation (breakfast and dinner) and we were very pleased with the richness and variety of dishes offered. I highly recommend!

I came here to treat my bad back in the thermal waters which hotel has in its own pools in the basement. In addition you can see the doctor who will examine you and prescribe treatment plan for which they give you package price. Therefore in this sense I have fulfilled purpose of my visit. However all facilities need modernisation. It is privatised communist block. Whoever bought it from the state - maintains it but does not update it much. We have stayed in a suite on the 4th floor - room remembers 1980s. It is functional, practical and clean but this standard absolutely does not justify 300 Euros per night! Pictures on the booking website are heavily photoshopped. I pay that much for a suite in a French Rivera and not in the town 200 km from Budapest! Fair enough - half board was included but food was blunt cantine style. Desert options were stand out - there was large selection of mini cakes. Overall I did enjoy my stay and everyone works really hard there to run it smoothly but I felt I have overpaid for the quality of accomodation. If you are after treatments - don’t include Sunday in your stay as therapists do not work that day. You can only use thermal pools - one quite warm, another very warm. Pool area is very busy on Saturday afternoon so I will avoid weekend next time. The best time is to come before breakfast. They have sauna - very good, steam room - unless you stand in front of the steamer you won’t feel anything. Please rethink the prices or invest in a modernisation for us to be returning.

Questo è un ottimo hotel. La mia camera era molto comoda, bel letto confortevole. Ho apprezzato il frigorifero vuoto per la mia acqua, vario vetro fornito. Sono stato estremamente impressionato con il buffet colazione e cena, entrambi inclusi nel mio mezza tavola. Totalmente delizioso, varietà massiccia, ogni pasto delizioso. Piscine esterne molto pulite e ben curate. Piscina termica all'interno e all'esterno. Io sarei sicuramente tornato a questo hotel. Puoi facilmente camminare verso il lago termico dall'hotel. L'hotel ci ha preso in prestito le voglia di bocca senza spese. Mi piaceva il lago e mi piaceva tornare lì. Abbiamo pagato per una sessione di tre ore, un'esperienza molto memorabile. Ho avuto due massaggi all'hotel, erano grandi. Vorrei davvero tornare a questa posizione e se lo facessi, certamente ritornerò a questo hotel.

L'ondata di calore recente (agosto 2023) è stata difficile da sopportare, quindi abbiamo prenotato un hotel completamente climatizzato con piscina per sfuggire al calore per qualche giorno. Siamo molto ben viaggiati e nessun straniero in hotel, ma questo hotel è assolutamente meraviglioso. Ci vorrebbe un'età per ricordare tutti i dettagli che si trovano assolutamente giusti e spiegare che la gestione conosce chiaramente le loro attività; è raro trovare un servizio di questo tipo e ritorneremo. Gli alberi, i fiori, i fini di marmo e le splendide strutture di spa.Tutto è pulito senza spot e tutto funziona senza guai.Grandi staff in tutti i dipartimenti e poi ci sono i cibi. . . . Ci vorrà un'età per dieta di chili extra dopo tanti pecora di alta qualità, veneno, salmone fumato, carne bovina, suino, pollo – tutto presentato con perfezione. Che standard eccellente. Il buffet è appena fuori di questo mondo. Il portiere ha portato il nostro bagaglio dalla macchina e l'ha riportato in macchina quando siamo partiti... ora è molto tempo da quando è successo. Dicono che “la qualità è ricordata molto dopo che il prezzo è dimenticato” perciò solo ottenere prenotato e pagare la fattura con un sorriso come vale ogni euro e non è davvero costoso.

We got exactly what we asked for and that is a disappontment: in Ensana hotels we always got a room upgrade or some other surprise. Not now. The place is too big, not a bit personal, waiters and other staff just worked as robots, nobody ever spoke to us. They were unmotivated. The staff in the restaurant just took away the plates&cutlery without talking, without giving us another one. The room had a lot of insects, harmless, though. The biggest problem is that there is no place to put&dry your wet clothes, so they are moist next day. Breakfasts and dinners werefine, the lunch was average. Good point: the two electronic playing tables. There is one small playroom for kids, but ours didn't like it much as it was too small and uninteresting. The playroom we saw on photos looks much nicer - where is it? The small kids' pool is good, our kiddo liked it. There are a lot of baby-friendly toilets, too. It is a pity that now they do not give you a lunch on the day of arrival&checkout. And the opportunity to bathe is also cancelled on checkout day. So we had a nice time, but we still felt disappointed. Mixed feelings.
