Lofos Apartments

Gli appartamenti Lofos sono semplicemente fantastici. George, Maria, Eva, Nikos e Iwana più il resto del personale sono i migliori. Questa sistemazione è molto più di 3 stelle. Le camere sono perfette, piccoli tocchi come coprimaterassi e cuscini, piani cottura alogeni e docce superior vanno oltre le aspettative. Le camere venivano pulite regolarmente con cambio lenzuola e asciugamani. Gli spuntini hanno un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo, gustosi ea prezzi ragionevoli. I panorami dall'area della piscina di Lofos sono da non perdere ( mi è piaciuto molto guardare l'alba, le poiane e le montagne. L'atmosfera intorno alla piscina e nel ristorante era così rilassata, esaltata dalle superbe scelte musicali, dall'ascolto facile a livelli di musica di sottofondo. Adoro una bottiglia di vino sfacciata quando l'umore ti prende!! I Lofo hanno il proprio vino in bottiglia, bianco, rosato e rosso, tutti sono eccellenti e di nuovo a prezzi ragionevoli. Omg the best place to stay. Wonderful staff. Super clean and rooms are amazing. Will definitely be back. Great location, supermarket just up the hill and great restaurants nearby. Couldn't fault it at all

Just back from our 3rd visit to Lofos Apartments and looking forward to our FOURTH visit next year! It really is everything we could wish for in a small family run hotel...food and drink very reasonably priced. Views are amazining, sitting relaxing on your own balcony or by the pool chatting to newly made friends or just having a quiet drink. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool although we don't use them ourselves...staff are so friendly and accommodating..attentive to your every needs..hotel is perfectly placed for visits to the busier resort of Hersonissos..which is downhill, and uphill to the lovely quieter villages of old village of Hersonissos and Piskopiano and Koutouloufari whith many tavernas..restaurants and much much more. Its true you arrive as strangers, as we did on our first visit but you truly do leave as friends.

Well it is our last night in Lofos.we are sadly leaving tomorrow after spending 7 days with Maria George and the fantastic team who have looked after us..always smiling and nothing too much trouble to make our holiday perfect..the breakfasts are amazing the food and drinks too.. Read other reviews..this place definitely deserves its 5 stars..don't hesitate to visit this lovely spot..you will not be disappointed.we have had the best Greek holiday ever and will certainly be back soon.. We had a great 2 week stay at the Lofos from the 30th September. Rooms are a good size, clean and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The shower is the best we’ve ever had in Greece. We stayed Self catering but had the Breakfast many times during our stay and in was worth every Euro! Very delicious and fresh buffet breakfast. Pool area is rather snug and there is more sun loungers if you ask. The hill up to Piskopiano & Koutouloufari is a steady climb, I managed it everyday no problem and both my knees have been replaced. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. All in all a great holiday at a lovely place. Would recommend a stay here.

I choose Lofos apartments because of the reviews. - I visited with my friend ( both 70+ ) and we couldn’t fault the rooms ; staff;food ( we did B&b : )Marie and staff were really lovely and saw us on the coach at the end of our holiday at 21.20 . Left as friends 🥰Great surroundings fab views : the small hill didn’t bother us and i have had 2 knee replacements ! as it’s not steep just steady away : we booked 2 trips while there to spingarola and the cave of Zeus which were worth it although the steps to the cave and the path I found difficult ;As soon as I got home I booked for myself and hubby for 2025 as I know hel love the place and very handy for his Guinness and walks to different villages Your the best Lofos .*****

From the moment we arrived in the early hours of the morning we were shown a warm welcome by all the friendly staff. My husband mentioned to Maria I was allergic gluten and tomato’s. The next morning the lovely Anna (breakfast chef extraudinair) had me covered. She showed/told me what I could eat, what I couldn’t and what she was unsure of I wasn’t allowed. Who would believe scrambled egg and cheese had gluten in them? she and the rest of the staff looked after my dietary needs for the whole 9 nights. I also took a Greek coeliac translation card. Our one bedroomed apartment Basic, very clean, ours had 5 beds but not enough wardrobe space for 5 people. Cleaned to a very high standard and Towels changed at least every 2 days. You pay extra for air con and safe. We didn’t need air con. There were steps up to the apartment and pool. Or a very steep road down to the apartments. Kitchen in the large room was adequate with 2 rings a small kettle and a fabulous sandwich maker/grill. It had everything we needed including a table and 4 chairs, fridge and the usual cutlery and crockery. Bathroom with a lovely walk in shower, toilet and large sink. AND plenty of loo roll. Bedroom ours had 2 single very comfortable beds, hair dryer, mirror with table, bedside table with draw and somewhere to open your suitcase with a big draw underneath. Nice size. Balcony with table and 4 chairs and drying rack with fabulous views down to the sea and Hersonissos. The pool was lovely - very cold in October but it didn’t stop me from swimming every day. As people have previously said. Not enough sun beds but you just have to ask and they will put more out. Cramped together some days but it didn’t matter. Resteraunt on site was flipping amazing for me coeliac/gluten free from Anna to George and another lady (I cannot remember her name). If you want something different from the menu just give then 24 hours notice. We had the buffet breakfast occasionally, lunch a few days. Where Anna cooked me real chips in separate oil. 2 evening meals - lamb chops ( the best I had on the island) and Pork shine ( pork leg) both of which George cooked. I cannot praise the staff enough. Maria’s attitude was “We cannot give you this time back so we have to make sure we do it right” or something like that. Lofos means hill and it is on a very steep hill as mentioned in previous reviews. So up or dawn from the apartments is very steep in places. I need knee surgery but managed, very slowly either up to Piscopiano and the 2 beautiful villages further on or even along to Old Hersonissos. We even ventured down into Hersonissos. There’s a nice cafe at the top of the hill in Piscopiano for a drink, a rest and watch everyone negotiate the T junction. Also Taxis are €8. We ate at the Restaurant just down the hill on the left Areston-Spankis, taverna Harakas in Old Hersonissos, Thira &Eliotas in Piscopiano, Alex and Christina’s tapas just further on (but they don’t do tapas anymore)

Just back from the best week in Lofos with my husband. The place is beautiful and the staff can't do enough for you. Such a pleasant place to stay. We had a studio, which was perfect as it was only the two of us and we had the biggest balcony overlooking the sea on one side and a view of the mountains on the other. The pool area is lovely and plenty of sun loungers for everyone. We will definitely be back again.

Believe the reviews, everything about this place is spot-on and we still have four days left. Staff, rooms, food, cleanliness, pool all excellent. A particular mention must go to the breakfast which is the best we've ever had in Greece. A return is on the cards 🤓
