Hotel Scandic a Helsinki

A good hotel for an overnight transfer stay. The free airport shuttle is very convenient. Look for the bus assembly area sign to quickly locate the station at airport. The T2 said on the timetable is just misleading and will put you in a long walking maze. Breakfast is overall good but the instant coffee (only choice) can be improved.

L'hotel sembra vecchio ma la stanza è ok, alcune recensioni menzionate il bagno è piccolo ma abbiamo trovato tutto bene. La colazione è bello, offre una vasta gamma di varietà. CS alla ricetta può essere meglio tuttavia. Abbiamo prenotato una notte extra e lasciato un messaggio per informare l'hotel in anticipo, ma la nostra stanza è stata ancora rilasciata come 'no-show'; quando abbiamo chiesto un check-in precoce, il personale ci ha detto 'completamente prenotato, torna alle 4:00 per provare di nuovo' . Personale amichevole da ristorante/caffeina/magazzinaggio.

Hotel is lovely and the room is spacious and very clean. It’s very close to Helsinki city centre, about 15 minutes and just across the river. Buffet breakfast is delicious and fresh with plenty of options. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and in particular, the lovely lady in the kitchen is always smiling, warm, cheerful and greets everyone good morning on arrival for breakfast. It really makes a difference to the start of the day. If you don’t have a lot of luggage and arrive by train from the airport, this hotel is a short 15 minutes from from Helsinki Central station. Otherwise there is a train stop underground just a little to the left of the hotel and tram stop right in front of the hotel which is currently under renovations.

We had a great few nights stay at Scandic Grand Central. The check-in process was smooth- The hotel even provided an online check-in option that would also notify us when our room is ready so that we can check in earlier. The room was a little smaller than we imagined but nevertheless well-equipped. The breakfast buffet is a MUST- There's a wide variety of food and they are all scrumptious. The staff was warm and accommodating- Big thumbs up to the cleaning staff who greeted us everyday without fail with the biggest smile on their faces. The location is also fantastic-Its very central so all the tourist attractions and transport is within walking distance.

Un hotel davvero sorprendente! Semplicemente fantastico! Sono arrivato a Helsinki la mattina presto e il personale di turno mi ha accolto molto calorosamente, senza alcuna emozione! Ho fatto il check-out a mezzogiorno, ma mancavano ancora alcune ore alla partenza da Helsinki. Volevo fare un altro giro, ma non mi aspettavo che l'hotel fornisse anche un servizio di deposito bagagli premuroso! Il personale è molto paziente ed entusiasta! Grazie! Altamente raccomandato! Un hotel davvero sorprendente! Semplicemente fantastico! Sono arrivato a Helsinki nelle prime ore del mattino e sono stato accolto dall'impiegato di turno senza alcuna emozione e con grande ospitalità. Abbiamo avuto un buon soggiorno in hotel, è quasi 1.2-1.5 km dalla stazione ferroviaria principale della città, si può camminare o andare in autobus per raggiungere l'hotel. Le mappe di Google sono la cosa migliore per le tempeste di autobus e tutto. Le camere erano molto buone, pulite e dispone di tutte le strutture di cui abbiamo bisogno. Il colazione era buono e ha molte varietà, tra cui opzioni vegetariane. Puoi andare al mercato a piedi e se sta nevendo è meglio prendere il tram. La città è bella e l'hotel è anche bellissimo e confortevole.

centrally based, just 5 min walk to railway, newish building, but noise and heat insulation are in dire need of improvement. air conditioning didn't work by 28 degrees outside and glass facade, not even a fan. trams are heard on the 8th floor as if a small plane is passing by, and that late into the night. Soap splashes on the door have not been cleaned for a while and beds are small, almost fell on the floor while turning. not coming to this hotel any time soon. on the positive side: minibar is well stocked with water for 8 euro and alcoholic beverages for partying if you want all night long

Stayed at Scandic Helsinki Aviapolis, a convenient airport hotel near Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. Overall, it was a good stay, ideal for transit travelers and short visits. The hotel is just a few minutes from the airport, with a free shuttle service running every 20–30 minutes. It is also within walking distance of Aviapolis train station (about 15 minutes), making it easy to reach Helsinki city center. A major plus is the Jumbo Shopping Mall nearby, offering a variety of restaurants, shops, and a grocery store—perfect for those needing last-minute essentials or an alternative dining option. The room was clean, modern, and functional, featuring comfortable bedding, a work desk, and a well-maintained bathroom with a walk-in shower and essential toiletries. The breakfast buffet starts at 6 AM, offering a great selection of fresh bread, cold cuts, hot dishes, and Finnish specialties. For those with super early flights, a light breakfast is available from 4 AM. Due to time constraints - I briefly checked out the gym and sauna in the basement which appeared well-maintained. The staff was friendly and efficient, making check-in and check-out smooth. The overall atmosphere is modern and practical, making it a great choice for travelers catching an early flight or needing a short, comfortable stay near the airport.

Siamo rimasti solo per una notte prima del nostro volo di ritorno a Londra. La stanza è abbastanza grande per una coppia. Il bagno e la toilette sono moderni e puliti. Nessun bollitore/caffè in camera ma l'area ristorante è molto accessibile. Ferro e asse da stiro sono disponibili all'interno della stanza, quindi è comodo. La colazione è molto buona con molte selezioni compresi cibi caldi.

房間很大，有簡單的廚房可以自己買點東西做着吃，方便不想在外面吃的遊客。要是痛風環境在好些就完美了。
