Recensioni su The Capitol Hotel Sydney, an EVT hotel

My recent 7-day stay. While the location of the hotel is fantastic and made our trip convenient, there were some concerns regarding cleanliness that I feel need to be addressed. During our stay, my husband and I noticed that the cleanliness of the room, particularly the bedding, did not meet expectations. We were uncertain if the sheets were changed during our stay hence made a request at the front desk that our bedding needs to be changed. On several occasions, after returning to our room late in the evening, we found that the sheets were still dirty, which was quite disappointing. As guests on holiday, we expected a certain level of cleanliness, particularly with something as fundamental as bed linens. Unfortunately, we were too tired to address it with the front desk at the end of long days. We ended up sleeping on just one side of the bed. I believe that with a little more attention to detail in housekeeping, this could be an area for significant improvement. Cleanliness is one of the most basic expectations when staying at a hotel, and I hope this feedback helps ensure future guests do not encounter similar issues.

Great location with a surprising moody and dark relaxing ambience. The included breakfast was great, with a variety of pastries, hot and cold breakfast options. Better than most continental breakfasts. Immediately upon entrance you felt relaxed and the scent in the lobby was tasteful. Rooms were not to small but great for a couple, business trip of friends travelling. 

Near city center and easy to go around. Maybe will be back next time.

Overall nice. Will book again if in area. Airport - train - hotel in under 45 min. Convenient to most places I needed to go. Service at front desk was great, service at breakfast was cold. Breakfast is not the greatest but acceptable.

Really nice hotel, definitely feels more like 4 stars than 3. Everything is great, the staff greats you at check-in and the decor was nice. I’d wish the reception was at the ground floor, rather than at Level 2 - but this is just a small issue. Overall, I enjoyed my stay!

Nice hotel with a great location, right in the middle of CBD area. Central station is a few minutes walk away and Chinatown tram station is just outside the hotel. Staff was helpful

The location is great close to train stations and shops, but the towels and bed sheets weren’t clean.

The location was perfect, practically next to the light rail in Chinatown, restaurants and coffee shops all around, and the Capitol Theater downstairs. The hotel was very clean, the beds nice and comfy, and the staff were very nice and helpful. Great place to stay in Sydney.

Hotel is located next to chinatown station very convenient. Very clean, cosy and chill a great stay in Sydney.
