Avvertendo che prevedevamo di arrivare tra le 21 e le 22, abbiamo prenotato un soggiorno il 18 agosto. Ho pagato la camera e pagato un costo di pulizia rimborsabile di £ 25, con un commento che mi sarebbero state inviate "istruzioni per il check-in fuori orario" solo che il codice postale era mostrato sulla conferma della prenotazione. Ho inviato un'e-mail all'hotel chiedendo l'indirizzo, l'hotel ha risposto con il nome del villaggio e il codice postale! Ho scritto di nuovo e ho richiesto nuovamente queste informazioni, incluso il numero di proprietà. Questa volta l'hotel ha risposto solo con il nome della strada! Si è verificata un'emergenza medica sul pullman con cui abbiamo viaggiato dalla Scozia il 18. Ciò ci ha ritardato di quasi un'ora, ho chiamato l'hotel alle 13:00 e ho informato il personale che saremmo arrivati ​​più tardi rispetto all'orario di arrivo previsto per le 22:00. Una giovane donna mi ha assicurato che questo non era un problema e che avrebbe inviato istruzioni per il check-in posticipato via e-mail dopo le 14:00, ma non l'ha mai fatto! A causa di lavori stradali siamo arrivati ​​alla stazione degli autobus alle 21:15 (con 90 minuti di ritardo). Dato che non avevo l'e-mail con le istruzioni fuori orario, ho chiamato l'hotel, la mia chiamata è andata a un messaggio registrato, quando ho scelto di lasciare un messaggio vocale, un messaggio registrato annunciava che la casella di posta era piena Siamo arrivati ​​all'aeroporto alle 22:30 con l'intenzione di prendi un taxi per l'hotel. Ho chiamato di nuovo l'hotel e ho ricevuto lo stesso messaggio vocale. Dato che il nostro volo partiva tra cinque ore e senza le istruzioni per il check-in, ho inviato un'e-mail all'hotel per annullare la prenotazione e, in tutta onestà nei confronti dell'hotel, abbiamo chiesto un rimborso proporzionale (hanno violato il contratto) questo non è mai stato riconosciuto ! Siamo anziani e abbiamo dovuto dormire in aeroporto! Il 19 agosto alle 14:00 e in transito a Doha ho ricevuto un'e-mail che non conteneva le istruzioni per il check-in, mi informava semplicemente di quanto avevo pagato!

We booked this house due to how close it was to the airport however the standard of these rooms are an absolute disgrace. Broken toilets, broken doors, urine stains on the toilet floors, broken chairs, unable to turn the heating down, high lips entering the bathroom resulting in my 2 year old nephew tripping and banging his head, blood and bogeys on the curtains and generally just disgusting. Air b&b have been no help with gaining any sort of refund either. The name of the place seems to change regularly too Don’t waste your time or money

Absolutely awful place to stay. Dried bogeys and blood on the curtians in room 1, absolutley disgusting. Advert says fully equipped kitchen - washing machine, dishwasher were broken but we not made aware of this before our trip, the microwave was missing and the kettle so thick with limescale we couldn't make a cuppa. There were no saucepans, only 3 frying pans which were scratched and rusty. Urine stains on the toilet floors, broken toilet seats, light fittings and door catches. I stayed in room 5, on using the handrail to climb out of the bath, it came off in my hand - dangerous as I could have fallen. Unable to turn the radiator down in room 6 as the knob was broken - the host was no help, just kept sending me the same instructions. We ended up turning the heating off by the boiler else my grandson would've been scalded. Raised lips on floor from bedroom to bathroom in rooms 5 and 6, my grandson tripped and banged his head on the toilet basin. I booked this as Harmondsworth 6 bed, 6 bath house on AirBnB - advert stated entire house. What it actually is, is 6 rooms all with key pad entry so had we only needed 5 rooms, we would have been sharing with some random person. This place is also The Great Airport hotel - funny how it has 3 names but all the pictures are the same. Yes we only paid £60 per room however it should still be hygienic and safe, with amenities advertised available!
