Halifax: hotel a 2 stelle

I don’t agree with most of these negative reviews. You get what you pay for. If you want a hotel with fancy amenities, then pay a five star price. If you’re looking for a cheap hotel to rest and aren’t too concerned about your amenities then this is a great hotel. Room was super clean, nice microwave and mini fridge. TV and wifi ******, A/C was a bit dated. It may not be my first choice if I was travelling with children or anyone with mobility issues but if you are able to get around and are travelling solo/a couple people and looking for a clean place to sleep while visiting the city then I’d definitely recommend. I had no issues with the staff, there were nothing but friendly and kind. Slept with the window open, a bit of street noise and you could hear a lot of noise from the hallways but wasn’t bothersome. I felt safe here.

It was a good stay. The tv stations available were the poorest selection that I’ve seen. They also charged my credit card despite having paid in advance through the app. They did let me stay an hour later to accommodate a meeting. The location and view (ask for lake view) was amazing.

I recently stayed at the Garden South Park Inn while visiting Halifax and I'm so glad I did! The B&B was very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and the location was perfect! I picked this B&B so I could park my rental and walk around beautiful downtown Halifax. My only criticism would be to offer breakfast earlier. Breakfast starts at 7:45 am and most people who are in town on vacation like to get an earlier start. Myself and other guests were waiting in the beautiful lobby waiting for our breakfast and all commenting that an earlier breakfast would have been better. Other than that, I loved my stay at the Garden South Park Inn and would gladly stay again.

We cannot say enough great things about this hotel! We stayed for one night with our 3 ½ year old son and it was fantastic. From the moment we arrived and checked in, we felt looked after and had great service. Jessel at the front desk was amazing and one of the kindest, sweetest people. She made us feel so welcome and was so lovely to our son. We know it is not always easy having young children at a hotel, but she made him feel so special and important. The room was awesome! So spacious, clean and comfortable. We stayed in a double queen room and had more than enough room. I can't remember the last time I stayed in a hotel room that large. Everything was perfectly clean upon arrival and we had everything we needed. We appreciated the call from Jessel shortly after we got in the room to ensure all was well. The continental breakfast was excellent! Everything tasted great and there was a good variety. Our picky son even found some things to enjoy which is a win for us. The hotel itself was so clean and tidy, as well as quiet and comfortable. We felt so at ease staying there and will definitely consider reutrning again.

The Mount Saint Vincent University is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Halifax will find that the Mount Saint Vincent University is a fantastic accommodation choice.Traveling to the hotel is easy with Halifax VIA Rail Station located approximately 10km away and Halifax Stanfield International Airport roughly 33km away. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the MSVU Art Gallery, Atlantis Limousine Halifax and Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church all nearby.When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site.

Dopo aver letto alcune recensioni decisamente incomplete ho avuto le mie preoccupazioni prima di arrivare. Tuttavia non avevamo problemi.. il personale era piacevole, le camere erano pulite e confortevoli e il colazione era buona. Ci sono state due notti qui senza alcuna denuncia! Con molte grazie

In generale, il nostro soggiorno era buono, ma al momento in cui siamo stati lì il riscaldamento della stanza è davvero alto.

This Comfort Inn is absolutely the best comfort Inn that I lived so far. Location is very very good (for even people Halifax need to use the map to search) breakfast is very good quality and also room is very good. I get 2 queen suite. Very specious. The view from this hotel when you go out to the Bedford HWY you will see the lake area. This hotel also good for train fans because 10 meters from the hotel. You will see the Via Train and CN train pass by. For the hotel inside. The most most memorable person that I meet. His name is Vishal. I would say he is the most most most most wonderful and lovely person that I meet. When I do the check in. The voucher from the third party (roomXXLs) is not quite work. Since they can’t charge the credit card without the useful information. Vishal told me to called the company directly and let them provide me the information the hotel need. Looks like the roomXXLs can’t figure out what they need. Vishal is so so so so nice to give me a free bottled water and continue helping me to find a resolution to solve the problem. His professionalism; outgoing personality make people feels like their own home. Another memorable moment that he did to me is he also helped me to photocopy some of the document for free instead of I am going out find a copy shop. When you go live in Comfort Inn Halifax, which is 560 Bedford Hwy one. Make sure you get Vishal to do all of your check in process. His professionalism will make you not miss your own home in Canada or internationally. He will also make you less stressful. Finally, I just want to say thank you so so so so much for your wonderful and exceptional job Vishal. You are the absolutely best best best person that I meet. I will definitely come live in here in the future time and if not come say hi. Overall, 10/10 or 100/100 for the hotel. And double points (20/20; 200/200) for Vishal.

Conveniently located close to the airport. They have a free shuttle that runs through the night. Excellent place to stay for middle-of-the-night or early morning flights.
