We had planned on staying at this hotel for just a couple of nights but extended our stay and then returned later in our trip as it was so fantastic. The beautiful hotel is situated in a lovely, landscaped area of Hai Phong with many restaurants and a mall just a short walk away. The rooms were large, very clean and quiet. They also have a balcony where there are tables and chairs. The breakfast - included in the price of our room - was excellent with a wide choice of foods. What really makes this hotel stand out is the incredible service given by all the staff; especially those working on reception. They were incredibly friendly, helpful and researched and found solutions for our travel plans. This hotel is a real gem, do visit if you can.

The Employees was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The Hotel is a great building and the premises are very nice. Usavamo Nikko Hai Phong per un soggiorno di notte in viaggio a Cat Ba, e siamo stati molto positivi con le sue strutture e servizi. Il ristorante giapponese ha un buon gusto e una buona qualità, ha aiutato a organizzare il trasporto tra Hanoi, Hai Phong e Cat Ba, e tutto ha funzionato bene.

Una tale esperienza di incubo per noi! Aveva una prenotazione ma quando siamo arrivati alle 8:00, non c'era nessuno alla ricezione, solo un guardia di sicurezza che ci ha aiutato a controllare. Purtroppo non riusciva a trovare la chiave per la nostra stanza, e doveva darci un'altra. La stanza era vecchia e un po' profumata. La mattina, non c'era niente servito al ristorante, anche se il colazione era incluso nella nostra prenotazione. Peggio di questo, il ricevitore era scomparso. Ancora una volta, il tizio di sicurezza ci ha aiutato a controllare, ma non ci ha lasciato andare. Dopo 20 minuti di chiamare qualcuno a controllare, finalmente ci ha lasciato andare con ansia, e, naturalmente, senza scuse. Abbiamo dovuto salire le scale e portare i bagagli da soli.La peggiore esperienza che abbiamo avuto finora a Hai Phong!

Un incredibile insieme di edifici con una vasta gamma di strutture, tra cui molte piscine, spiagge, ristoranti e bar. Purtroppo, il livello di servizio non corrisponde alla qualità dell'edificio e, sebbene vi siano molti membri del personale, spesso non fanno nulla o solo sul loro telefono. Molte delle caratteristiche sembravano essere per ”show” piuttosto che correttamente supportato. L'arcade, per esempio, sembra grande, ma la maggior parte delle macchine sono state rotte o switched off e la gente è più interessato a posare le foto piuttosto che la funzionalità effettiva dell'apparecchiatura. Analogamente, un bar di nuoto nella piscina interna sembrava promettente, ma non contenuto o dotato. Le tavole di piscina sul tetto della barra superiore sembrano belle, è terribile qualità se davvero vuoi giocare a piscina! Ciò detto, le piscine erano molto belle, la spiaggia era bella e l'acqua era bella. Molto rumore sulla spiaggia, ma purtroppo questo è vero in tutta la maggior parte della Ba Ha Long Bay. facile accesso al centro città di Cat Ba utilizzando il servizio elettrico taxi fuori dall'hotel a 10.000 VND per persona ogni modo. After 5 years in Vietnam, this is by far the absolute best hotel we’ve experienced to the point that it’s our #1 wedding venue for the future. This property has the ability to transform the hospitality culture in Vietnam. If you are not used to being in VN yet, I ask you understand 5 star hotels are a different culture here and practice a little bit of patience. Please remember, this is an island that’s not convenient to travel to daily for work, so most of the employees are coming directly from the island, which makes it hard to find outstanding English speakers, but it seems they’re really starting to develop their staff. The food, incredible. I would suggest the filet mignon to everyone, and actually liked it more than the ribeye. The breakfast was a wide variety for slow season. The Spa was a wonderful experience. Breathtakingly beautiful views and properties, as well as the cleanest beach I’ve ever seen in Vietnam(it’s private!). 3 pools, Sauna, Jacuzzi, Steam Room all are free for guests. 3 bars, 2 restaurants (book Japanese early and place your order early. Traditional Japanese food takes time to prepare properly) My one piece of constructive criticism as one with experience in 4 diamond hotels is a sense of urgency. This again goes back to a 5 star experience in VN and other countries. While the staff were amazing, a few really stood out with their English skills and sense of urgency. Uyen, Tuan, Dung, Nhi, Phuong and Minh were all wonderful and I appreciate their hard work to make our stay enjoyable. I do suggest tipping a little bit as it does go a long way. ***Most places in VN do not tip.*** I only tip if I see a space for a tip on the receipt or in a taxi during rush hour.
