3 days of mesmerizing stay with family. We’ve stayed in other big hotels at Gulmarg before (including Khyber) but this was a true gem. A bit off from the main gondola point and that walk in the snow is surreal. The rooms are super comfy and kept warm in winter. Amazing views. Staff are super courteous and super prompt. Food is good. If you are in Gulmarg to enjoy winter and snow and all things, Heevan Gulmarg is strongly recommended.

We had a pleasant stay at Heevan Retreat Gulmarg, where we spent two nights. The hospitality provided was commendable, and the accommodations were satisfactory. The cuisine was delightful, albeit somewhat pricey. The hotel is ideally located, just a ten-minute walk from the cable car. In winter, the surroundings resemble a paradise.

A very charming property, definitely a hidden gem in Gulmarg. Aesthetically a cute and rustic cabin atop a small hill--lined with carved wooden panels, embroidered fabrics, and beautiful carpets--it feels very cozy and welcoming. Staff is great--very pleasant and helpful, they accomodated food allergies and the food here was excellent! We ended up extending our stay here, partly because of how great this hotel was, and partly because of how stunning Gulmarg looks in January, covered under a blanket of snow. Overall, we're having a really lovely time here!

In the entire Kashmir, this is the hotel where my entire family was happy with respect to out stay, foods, room heating and services rendered by the front desk and restaurant management. We took a suit (18) and took an extra bed. Slept peacefully for a whole 8 hours each night and enjoyed the food customised for us by Chef Mr. Jamdaz Khan under the leadership of Restaurant Manager Md. Ashraf. The security staff, front desk, and housekeepers were all cordial and helpful. The property, garden, view from room and restaurant all are beautiful. Would like to go back again and recommend others.

Cosy and comfortable place to stay. Nice views of the snow capped peaks. Good place for families with kids. Close to Gondola. Courteous and caring staff. Shabir Ah Khan and M. Ashraf took good care of us and served us a delicious wazwan. Wonderful stay!

Restaurant offers a variety of delicious food for all age groups and regions of the world. I feel the best part of our trip is this beautiful place with a colorful atmosphere and beautiful flowers all ariund the hotel. It touches your heart.

I recently stayed at Heaven Retreat, and it was an outstanding experience. The property is stunning, with a serene atmosphere that makes it a perfect getaway. The food was absolutely delicious, offering a wide variety of dishes that catered to all tastes. A special mention to Mr. Riyaz at the front desk—his warm hospitality and attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable and Gondola ride is in walkable distance 800 meters. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious stay!

Very good hotel with excellent service. Rooms are comfortable with balcony. Bathroom is very nice and have. 24 hour hour water. In hotel have central hiting. Food in restaurant is very delicious . All staff is helpful friendly and respectful

The rooms and the overall hotel is well maintained and is clean. The food is of decent quality and the quantity is sufficient for a serving. The staff is very humble and helpful. The view from the rooms is also magical and very beautiful. This place is worth a visit!

Lovely view from the hotel,It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service . Mr Javed food manager was very kind n we really enjoyed our stay n had yummy kashmiri vaazvan.

Very cozy lodge! Full of character. Check in was smooth, stay was comfortable, bed was comfy with a thick bouncy duvet. Generally friendly staff, guardsman in particular was a sincere, nice guy. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, but dinner buffet was. I have to compliment the chef, fried chicken and haak gaad esp were my favourites of any dish I’ve ever eaten at any hotel buffets. Fresh, fragrant and the ratio of collard greens to fish was perfect. Doneness of collards was also perfect. Hearty and we agreed it was a joy of a meal. Something extra that can be done to take advantage of the lodge vibes and winter experience is if the lodge offered something warm and cosy to enjoy in the lounge or on the porch in the winter air. Perhaps a roasted sweet potato, a mug of hot cocoa, or something like hot fresh Korean walnut cakes for guests to hold while out in the snowy yard. Something extra. :)
