We had a 2-week family vacation in Italy, travelled to Rome, Florence, Naples and Palermo. Our stay at Olivuzza 27 in Palermo is by far the BEST! The room is spacious, well-appointed, clean. And, it has a kitchenette, so that we could cook dinner with the fresh ingredients bought from the supermarket nearby. The apartment is just a stone’s throw away from the town centre, we could go to different places just on foot. And it is located in a quiet and safe area. We didn’t have to worry even we walked back to the apartment after a night out. Our heartfelt thanks to the owner Salvo for his hospitality, who proactively offered us help in many ways. Salvo is friendly and caring. He speaks very good English too. He gave us very good recommendations for restaurants, attractions, useful apps. He helped us with laundry service after we were totally soaked in the pouring rain in one of the days. Each of the small touch have made us feel very welcomed. We had a very memorable trip in Palermo. If you happen to travel to Palermo, Olivuzza 27 is the PERFECT choice, trust me.

La famiglia più economica del viaggio in Sicilia, la posizione e la stanza e il servizio sono molto buoni in tutti gli aspetti. Dietro la cattedrale, la signorina è molto entusiasta. Il mattino che parte per il volo di prima colazione ci ha aiutato a preparare la colazione nella stanza, non c'è bisogno di dire.

Loved this hotel. It was beautifully appointed and the breakfast was lovely. The rooms were well designed and it was the comfiest bed I have ever slept in! The location was perfect. Right around the corner from streets with lots of restaurants and an easy walk to local attractions. The Teatro Massimo was right across the street and was my favourite thing to visit. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again although there are some stairs to get up to reception but there is a lift part way from the ground floor for those with mobility issues. Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a gem of a place!

Binario 91 è in una posizione fantastica, a soli 3-minute passeggiata dalla stazione di autobus e treni di Palermo Central. È anche a pochi passi dal centro storico. Il condizionamento dell'aria è eccellente e il letto è molto comodo. Carmen è molto responsabile di soddisfare le vostre richieste.

Siamo arrivati in piena notte a causa di un volo in ritardo, e dato che l'autonoleggio era già chiuso, ci siamo sentiti persi. Abbiamo contattato l'hotel e il proprietario è stato incredibilmente disponibile, organizzando un taxi per venirci a prendere e portarci all'hotel. Nonostante il ritardo del volo, ci ha assicurato che non c'erano problemi e ci ha aspettato. Il prezzo è stato molto ragionevole e non ci sono stati costi aggiuntivi. Al nostro arrivo, il check-in è stato rapido. L'hotel si trova vicino alla via principale, in un vecchio edificio in stile coloniale. La nostra camera al primo piano era su due livelli, molto confortevole per una famiglia di tre persone. Era dotata di aria condizionata e, dopo essere tornati bagnati dalla pioggia, è stato un sollievo accenderla e riscaldarsi. La biancheria da letto era pulita e igienizzata, le strutture complete, e per qualsiasi problema potevamo chiamare in qualsiasi momento; tutti erano sempre molto disponibili. La colazione viene servita nella caffetteria di fronte all'hotel, con la possibilità di scegliere tra tre opzioni di cibo e bevande. Era una tipica colazione italiana e il sapore era delizioso, un vero pollice in su!

Not a hotel, more like a Bnb with limited service October 2025 We booked Mia Terra expecting a hotel — but it turned out to be more of a one-man bed and breakfast. From the start, nothing went smoothly. We had decided to take up the host’s offer of an airport shuttle (not cheap), as one of us only had one evening in Palermo and every minute counted. The shuttle arrived 15 minutes late, and when we finally reached the property, no one was there to check us in, causing yet another delay — even though the host had personally arranged our transport and knew our arrival time. The host then offered excuses that didn’t line up with the shuttle driver’s story (which btw, the driver didn’t even know our destination — we had to guide him — and only accepted cash, which we weren’t told in advance.) Check-in was confusing and disorganized. Despite several text messages from the host to confirm our room setup (which should have been clear from the booking), he had still assigned the wrong rooms and once again found excuses, incorrectly blaming the booking platform. When we asked him to fix it, he was reluctant but eventually agreed — behaving as if he were doing us a favor — though he did offer free breakfast as compensation, which we didn’t need. Since there is no staff at the property. The host promised to respond to messages “within minutes,” yet replies often took hours. The whole experience felt like a single person trying to run a hotel alone — and it shows. To be fair, the rooms were clean and comfortable, although in one of them, the shower faced the bedroom through a glass wall, so you had to shower in the dark for privacy. Overall, the service and professionalism fell far short of hotel standards. If you’re expecting the reliability of an actual hotel, look elsewhere.

Chambre d'hôtes proposant de belles chambres avec plafond peint. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées (bouilloire, sèche-cheveux...). Dommage que la chasse d'eau fasse du bruit la nuit. Hôtesse fort sympathique !
