New hotel in a great location ,it used to be part of the Victory  Hotel but they basically completely stripped the inside of the building and did a rebuild with a modern theme It is very good value for money and rooms,bedding and the bathroom are of a good standard.Limited amenities and food options but there are many restaurants and coffee shops and other food options on shamain island as it is a very popular and famous tourist spot in Guangzhou It focuses on domestic tourist so there is no international TV stations, not many of the staff speak english but they friendly and helpful so of you don’t need those services, it’s great value I’ve stayed there, 10 nights and foreign businessman that regularly visits Guangzhou I can highly recommend it

The hotel has a really nice location. It’s only 6 minutes walking to the metro station which has line 1 (central line) and 6 (circle line), which send you very easily to anywhere in Guangzhou. It’s also very walkable to all the historical sites in Guangzhou, as Liwan is one of the oldest districts. You can easily go to Shangxiajiu or Longjinlu to enjoy the most authentic dishes, where some aunties and uncles there don’t even speak fluent mandarin. The hotel staff were really helpful. They helped me organise all my deliveries in a big bag and tagged my name on it so it’s easy to find. I would suggest you to include your name initials in your delivery address so that it’s easier for the hotel staff to pre-organise them for you before you arrive. The bed was very comfy, tube was really big and the massage chair was definitely one of the highlights of this hotel. It’s probably the best massage chair I’ve had. One thing to improve is that more washing machines and dryers should be installed. I don’t know why, but everyone is washing their clothes in this hotel. Hence, you need to either wash your clothes during the day or compete in the night.
