Lovely old hotel. The rooms have old world charm and decor. Nice linens and comfortable beds. Well appointed bathrooms with everything you could imagine you'll need, including Ferragamo toiletries, razors, robes and slippers, etc. I was most impressed with the hotel staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. I received special care from Jaimie the concierge and Nancy at the front desk. The location is far away from the attractions and there is not much in walking distance, so prepare to taxi it. Taxis are very reasonable so it's not an issue. The hotel restaurant food was good with a decedent selection of items. Be aware that English is not widely spoken by everyone, so you might have to wait for someone to assist if you have questions. On a side note, I found that English is not as widespread in Guadalajara as in most places I've been in Mexico. It's probably because it's not exactly a popular tourist destination so there's little need to have it. On the plus side this means Guadalajara has held onto the culture very well. No pandering to foreigners. Back to the restaurant, my one complaint was a waiter there on 2 nights was sick. I was very uncomfortable having him serve me. I regret not mentioning it to management. He should not have been permitted to work until he was well. I asked him to keep his distance from me and I didn't use the pen he gave me to sign the check. He seem to take it well but it never should have happened. i did find that a lot of people are wearing masks in general there. Not the hotel staff but local people. It was good to see. The hotel grounds are lovely, the pool was in the shade most of the time and I think the lounge chair area needs more attention. The cushions had bird poop all over them and were very dirty. There are a lot of pigeons on the property too. I think it's tough to keep birds away but I did witness them eating from the breakfast buffet table. Maybe a special person should be present to shoo them away? I didn't see the gym but I'm told they do have one . All in all it was a good stay there.

Mia moglie e io eravamo in attività a Guadalajara e cerco di rimanere in proprietà Marriott quando posso. Devo dire che questo JW Marriott è uno dei migliori che abbia mai fatto negli ultimi 20 anni di viaggio d'affari. Ho soggiornato in centinaia di hotel, quindi sono un viaggiatore molto piccante. Il personale era caldo e molto reagente. L'impianto era pulito e ben mantenuto. I servizi erano perfetti per la posizione e il tipo di viaggio che facevo. In generale, consiglierei questa proprietà ai viaggiatori commerciali americani che cercano un'esperienza di alta qualità quando in Guadalajara.

Overall it was a great experience, the location was gold, very walkable and close to lots of cute cafes, restaurants and Avenida Chapultepec. The bed was really comfortable and the shower pressure was great. I loved that they had a sauna and pool, but the pool was a bit dirty one of the days I was there (though the day prior to that it was clean). The staff was incredibly helpful and the food was ok, thought a bit pricey. The ac worked wonderfully. I could see myself returning!

Questa non è una cattiva scelta per l'alloggio, ma ha fatto sentire le persone insoddisfatte. Questa è la seconda volta che partecipiamo (la differenza di tempo tra visita e giro turistico è enorme) e abbiamo notato chiaramente che la qualità è peggiorata durante quel periodo. Le misure di emergenza all'ingresso sono leggi e regolamenti e misure appropriate, ma se quando si riceve la stanza, mostra una chiara mancanza di pulizia generale (per non parlare della disinfezione), cioè abbiamo trovato capelli, hanno quasi nessun lavoro o nessun effetto. In diverse parti della stanza e del bagno, polvere sugli scaffali, ecc. Fortunatamente, abbiamo notato alcuni pezzi di vetro rotto nella doccia e, soprattutto, il bagno non funzionava correttamente. La reception ha riferito tutto. Si può dire che l'attenzione al reclamo è stata cordiale e tempestiva, senza alcuna lamentela. Un dettaglio relativo a tutti questi è il prodotto (o cera) che usano per pulire il pavimento della stanza, calpestare le scarpe, scivolare e sentire che si diventa scalzi dopo essere stati sporcati dal pavimento, e poi a piedi nudi si sente a disagio appiccicoso e resistente Masticare il pavimento, forse hanno solo bisogno di cambiare i prodotti e i metodi per la pulizia del pavimento. La zona è bella e tranquilla. Sebbene non ci sia un parcheggio in loco, è sulla strada, ma il fatto è che è molto sicuro parcheggiare il veicolo nel blocco e nell'ambiente circostante perché ci sono telecamere e persone intorno. Inoltre, questa zona è un buon posto tra i vari luoghi della città. Ci sono molti caffè, bar e ristoranti nelle vicinanze. Penso che questo sia il miglior menu. Il personale è molto gentile, educato e pronto a fornirmi un supporto senza lamentele. Personalmente, consiglio ancora di mantenere alcune opinioni, di far loro perfezionare i dettagli di qualità che vogliono pubblicare, o di dover assolutamente ridurre il prezzo di alcune professioni per dimostrarne il valore/qualità.

La mia esperienza è stata molto grata. Un hotel con tutto il necessario, comodo, leggero, niente di grosso. Il suo design minimalista, ma con un toccante di eleganza e grandezza che si riflette nel tramonto della parte centrale che ti stampa la modernità. Credo che dovrei avere un po' di più luce nelle camere in generale, tutto il tempo è come mezzo luce, ma se vuoi scrivere puoi farlo. Pulizia e servizio impeccabili, tutti molto gentili. Il cibo, altamente raccomandabile, ma elementare, cioè, non c'è varietà di ricami, né burro o marmellate, a meno che non le chieda, cioè non è generoso, è elementare. E' un hotel in cui ho visto da coppie, fino a viaggiatori di business e visitatori che veniva con tour. Il costo giusto. Un hotel al quale se tornassi e consiglierei.

La ubicación es excelente, con muchos lugares para comer muy buenos caminando, una tienda de conveniencia a una calle, zona muy segura. Las instalaciones nuevas y de muy buen nivel, muy cómodas, limpias, buen diseño, silla de trabajo muy ergonómica. El staff siempre amable, su desayuno muy bueno e incluido con huevos, jugo fresco, fruta, chilaquiles, guarniciones, cereal, pan dulce, jamón y queso. Tiene estacionamiento gratuito techado en la misma plaza. Los únicos dos peros fueron que la alacena de los platos está muy alta y creo puede ser un riesgo para alguien de baja estatura y la plancha funciona pero no es la mejor que he encontrado en algún hotel. Sin duda regresaremos!

I was there with my wife on ”executive floor”... The hotel is nice as always (always like... years ago), but feels a bit unclean or old. The room smells funny, like lots of humidity, even after more that 12 hrs of AC and bath air extractor. Personal was really nice, but the mask (all of them were using the same) was so loose that they were almost like not using mask. Cleaning service lady was so nice but lacking of mask. Furniture was ”clean” (in the way that what a daily cleaning can do), but looks like years have passed before any deep cleaning. About cleaning and covid related stories: rooms are poor ventilated !! No windows at all!! So... I think you can get better stay at other hotels around for almost the same price. I'll try hotel at the next corner the next week.
