Abbiamo avuto un bellissimo soggiorno in questo hotel in una delle camere privilegiate. Bella, pulita. La nostra vista non era la migliore ( r 709 ), ma per questo era una camera tranquilla senza rumore di traffico. L'hotel è a 20 minuti a piedi dal centro groningen. Buona colazione con molte scelte calde e fredde.

We stayed in this modern hotel mid February for 2 nights. The Front Office as well as the rooms are located on the higher floors of this modern building in an outside area of the city center of Groningen. Service was very friendly, food was pricey but outstanding and worth every Euro! Don't miss the delicious risotto! Despite being near the highway, rooms are perfect isolated and well appointed with all amenities you need for a weekend away. Don't be afraid to take a good walk to the center or make use of the public transport. Definitely recommend!!

E' stato un anno da quando ho iniziato a stare alla signorina Blanche per qualche giorno alla settimana per il mio lavoro a Groningen e è stato meraviglioso. Le camere non sono solo molto pulite (la pulizia è eccellente, ogni giorno) e ben mantenute, ma anche calde e invitate allo stesso tempo. E ciò che è più bello di entrare nella vostra stanza dopo un lungo lavoro di giorni e trovare le luci e un bel albero di Natale nella vostra stanza come un benvenuto, ma ciò che fa sentire come una casa lontana da casa è sempre amichevole e gentile personale. Che sia stato durante il cuore della chiusura o durante altri mesi quando la signorina Blanche è molto occupata, chi è alla reception o alla pulizia, sono sempre gentili e professionali. La posizione è eccellente, proprio nel cuore della città con belle viste sui canali da molte delle camere e suite. E i canali sono bellissimi con decorazioni luminose questa volta dell'anno.

We are using this hotel for years for business purposes. It's a shame that level 1 and 2 rooms are so old and never been renovated for years. We usually stay in level 4 rooms, but not this time. The room on level 1 didn't have any air conditioning, and it was too hot to have a decent sleep even with opened window; and it was noisy as well... Mattress too soft (poor quality) that you end up with back pain. Breakfast quality is not the same as well. Orange juice dispenser was switched off one hour earlier before the breakfast finishes. Bacon was just not eatable... etc.

Era una bella posizione nel cuore di Groningen. Il caffè in camera era un po' meno. Anche l'ascensore non lo faceva. La doccia era un grande punto di min. La cabina era molto piccola, non si poteva quasi mai lavare i capelli o girare. Anche la testa di doccia era molto piccola, non potevi stare insieme sotto la doccia, mentre la camera da bagno era abbastanza grande da mettere una cabina di doccia più grande.

This Hotel is the best. Great location, walking distance to everything. The Hotel staff is all so friendly and kind. Hotel staff speaks English which was very helpful. Staff was willing to help us with directions and transit and any other questions or concerns we had. The Breakfast is phenomenal. Choices of pastries cereal, donuts, assorted meats and cheeses, assorted breads, scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, yogurt and every kind of topping imaginable, coffee, tea, juices, etc, etc, Large area to enjoy breakfast.

Excellent stay. Clean room with kingsize bed; we had a room with a beautiful view on the city. Breakfast (buffet) excellent! The only downside is the lack of dining options (only 3). Fish and chips was of a very low quality and the mixed salad to go with the sirloin steak (asked for medium rare and proved to be rare) was icecold and had no taste whatsoever. In short: an excellent hotel, but please find another place to have your dinner!

Beautiful hotel; cool that it has been a hotel since 1798. Clean rooms, very friendly staff. Although the hotel is not necessarily aimed at hosting small children (among others a stairs before you enter the main entrance) the staff is very accommodating; they carried the pram up and down the stairs and a high chair and children’s bed were available.

Questo hotel è molto nuovo e mostra – il livello di rinnovamento è alto. Bella atmosfera. La nostra camera Deluxe avevamo un bagno in suite che ha dato alla camera un senso molto unico. Il personale dell'hotel è utile e gentile. Buon e vario colazione. - Una bottiglia con la denominazione ”lozione corporea” si è rivelata per contenere gel di doccia. Quindi quando l'ho applicata ho dovuto fare di nuovo la doccia. Immagino che qualcuno sul re-fill non abbia prestato attenzione, hehe. - Ci siamo rimasti come una famiglia di tre –, tuttavia, inizialmente abbiamo solo un grande asciugamano. Le due cose sopra menzionate sono state risolte, ma notandolo qui per il miglioramento dell'hotel. Inoltre, l'hotel è situato ”in mezzo a tutto” e la maggior parte delle attrazioni possono essere facilmente raggiunte a piedi. Molto conveniente. Ci siamo divertiti e vorremmo visitare di nuovo.

Stayed here for 2 nights at the end of august. It a nice hotel with an excellent terrace lokated at the Paterswolde lake. You can rent a bicycle. It’s nice biking around the lake or to the centre of town (15 minutes by bike). Rooms are clean and spacious and breakfast is OK. Covid measures are clearly visable and well maintaned. 1 of the advantages of covid is that, if you’r in time with reserving the pool, you have the whole indoor swimmingpool one hour for yourself. There are only four people allowed at the same time. In summary. Good place to stay. If you intend to do al lot in the city centre you may want to take a hotel downtown.
