Neeld Arms

We stopped off en route from Surrey to Hereford having booked. The staff were welcoming, encouraged us to chose our table and the food was clearly freshly cooked, a place for a leisurely lunch, not a quick pitstop. The food was excellent, relying on flavour and interest rather than large portions. I enjoyed the game cassoulet from the main menu whilst my husband had the sausages and spotted dick from the light two course menu. Very good decaf coffee. We thoroughly recommend a visit.

Gorgeous food, lovely peaceful ambience, lovely staff, great value. Everything freshly cooked and delicious. Not sure how 'light' the 'light' lunchtime menu really was, but that's not really a criticism, just an observation. Service was slow enough to make you think they were really cooking the food, not just heating it through, so top marks for that. Wishing the management luck in their enterprise!

I stayed in the Neeld Arms with my two puppies following a Christmas family get together and lunch. The food was incredible, and the rooms were very comfortable. There was also a lovely courtyard out the back, where my dogs could run and play. By far the nicest place I stayed during my month-long trip in the UK with my dogs. A special shout out to Jayson and Amelia, two amazingly friendly people who looked after me very well. They really made my stay extra memorable and I hope to see them again. This was my second time eating at the Neeld Arms and first time staying overnight, and I will certainly be back again in the near future. Highly recommended.

I stayed here end of Nov / Dec with my mum for 1 night en route to Bristol (which is also very close by). You really couldn’t get a better location for exploring the cotswolds or Bristol. It’s perfectly situated in a little village with a lovely country pub feel. The hosts Mark and Mark are just a delight. They have hospitality running through their veins. We were made to feel so welcome by them and their team. The room was cosy and spotlessly clean with a gorgeous bed and lovely view of the village. Whilst I didn’t get the chance to eat here the food looked delicious as it made its way to the dining room. We did get to experience breakfast which again was 10/10 and couldn’t be faulted. I loved sitting in the bar of the evening we stayed and drank some nice wine and chatted to the locals and staff. We couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome and the log fires added to the warm atmosphere. I plan to return as I really love the look of the new menu and want to sample the food. Five star treatment, 10/10 couldn’t rate them highly enough. The staff are stand out and the warm welcome is delightful. Look no further for a stay in the cotswolds. I shall be returning.

We stayed at the Neeld Arms on Saturday night. The evening meal and breakfast were both excellent, with a focus on local produce. The double bedroom was very comfortable. There's also a good selection of well-kept real ale. Our two dogs were also made to feel very welcome.

Myself and my sister visited on a Saturday night for the 3 course Christmas menu, a child free catch up. All the food was amazing. We had the ham hock to start, Turkey and beef for mains, cheeseboard and crumble for dessert. A glass of wine each to start, both great as well. All the team were super friendly and helpful. Beautiful location and super cosy atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
