SpringHill Suites Greensboro

The staff was so nice and accommodating! The location is so convenient around food and shopping. This made it difficult for me to rate them so poorly because the room I was in was old and the bathroom had mold. There is a desperate need for upgrades on the building before I would even consider staying again. I wish the staff was enough to get me to stay again but very disappointed as a Marriott property. There was a lot of questionable people walking along the road to get to the hotel so even though places are walkable, drive everywhere.

The stay at this hotel was awesome. We had a large family gathering and they did an awesome job accommodating all of us. They made sure to put all of us together on the top floor as to ensure we wouldn’t have to worry about disturbing the other guest. I think that was so wonderful. Each time I’ve visited this hotel, they never disappoint. The hotel and room were very clean and the front desk on each shift the week of the July 4th were GREAT! The pool area was vey nice and the staff made sure to keep plenty of towels on hand. The breakfast area was clean and stocked with plenty of food . Breakfast was great with hot, continental, and cold choices. One of the nicest features of this hotel was that it was within walking distance of plenty of eating and shopping places. I do think the rooms can be updated with new sofa beds, carpeting, and possibly an upgraded walk-in shower. It does provide a separate space for the sofa bed area, but the sink is outside from the bathroom. The room was very comfortable and provided 3 adult guest with plenty of room. There wasn’t a luggage rack, so we just made due with using the ironing board as a shelf. Overall, it was a great stay.

We had a very nice stay here. All was well with our room. Close proximity to many things. But the best part was the inviting welcome by Roosevelt and the extra help from Angie. Angie helped me with something and both were very kind! That makes such a difference to the start of the visit and to have the good feeling throughout.

Angie! Many team members from a Charlotte-based gymnastics team stayed at the hotel for a competition. Since the pool water was cold the team spent most of the time playing in the lobby. Angie was so welcoming and warm to families and the girls!

Springhill was an exceptional place to stay. Outstanding hospitality, an exceptionally generous front desk team, very generous amenities, +all in a great location!

As a Titanium level Marriott member, I have stayed at many Springhill Suites hotels. I usually find them to be excellent values for money. This is perhaps the weakest Springhill Suites at which I have stayed. We stayed for one night and had two rooms. The furniture was banged up, the wood finish had partially broken off of the door to one of our rooms, the curtain rod broke off one of the windows, the TV remote was so old it did not work (the lady at reception told us to unplug the TV and then re-plug it in to get the remote to work....... in the year 2023!), the Wi-Fi kept on cutting out, the air conditioner blew cold air into the curtains hanging over the window, ...... The list goes on and on. The staff were friendly. The hot breakfast was not particularly good. Most of the offerings were pre-packaged. They did not have much of a selection of fresh fruit One saving grace for this hotel was that a group of geese periodically visited the front entrance of the hotel. We witnessed the lady from the reception shooing them away pretty much like a cowboy on a horse wrangles the herd down the trail in the movies (apparently the goose droppings create somewhat of a mess). It was fun to watch.

It was a great trip with 3 kids in tow. Close to any food cuisines desirable. We dined in with doordash from outback in our room. Hotel location was easy to get to, plenty of parking. Continental breakfast included in our stay. Room was comfortable, not the cleanest, looked like blood stains on the carpet, but overall, comparable to other equally established hotels. Pool was awesome, not overtly chlorinated, heated but not a dismal heat.. Best part of the hotel was the staffing. Kind, Courteous. Professional and extremely pleasant to interact with. Our favorites were Angie and Kelly. Both were remarkanle to make us feel welcomed as if it were our own home. These two were the main reason I rated our stay as excellent. Floors can be overlooked but hospitality is where service can be the major determining factor.. Appreciated a hassle free stay. The linens were clean, towels clean, working fridge in the room, with double bed and pull out sofa. Springs on that thing are eating through the matress.. maybe time for upgrade.. but all in all perfect for a two nighter.. We went to the Science Museum a short drive away! Looks, plenty to do in the area, especially shopping. Near Walmart with Sams Club and a Target too. So again, thanks Angie and Kelly for being you! A great asset to the Marriot hotel! Terry

Bobby Everrette helped me and my mom with our stay. We felt welcomed in our arrival. He gave us great places to visit for food while we were waiting to attend our event. He definitely made our stay very pleasant and relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel and his great customer service.

We had a good time. We’ve never stayed at a Springhill before. We were there to visit with family The staff we encountered were wonderful. The front counter greeted us with a smile and introduced themselves, which I’ve never had that happen before. The pool was very cold, however none of the kids cared. The tiles in the pool area were very slippery. Two people slipped and fell. That’s the only negative. Our room was very nice and big. -We had 2 double beds. There were two closets. There were extra sheets & blanket in the closet. I’ve never stayed at a place that had extras in the room. They slept good. -The “living” area was a very nice size. The couch looked dingy, so I just put a sheet over top. There were two little tables that had some dings in them wear & tear type stuff. The wet bar was nice. A small sink, microwave, and frig. And a shelf that held a coffee maker and all our snacks in. -Bathroom was nice and big. Needs some updating but did the job. Some of the tiles were cracked. The only complaint was the heat didn’t reach the bathroom. It was a bit colder than the rest of the room. -Breakfast was average Eggs, sausage, biscuits, sausages & gravy. I usually don’t like hotel coffee, but theirs was pretty good. The lady working the kitchen was very nice. She was very attentive. Keeping the food stocked. - Late checkout 12 LOVED!!!! There was a birthday party with several teens & a jr hockey stay here at the same time as our visit. We didn’t even know they were there until we went for breakfast. The place was quiet. If you don’t mind the “lived in decor” look, then you’ll be fine staying here. They need to update the furniture from the wear & tear on them. There are several cosmetic issues that could use attending to. We will definitely stay here and try another SpringHill. Great Job SpringHill in Greensboro!!!
