"Location was within 20 minutes walking to the old town and just 2 minutes on feet to the Grazer Messe (Fair of Graz) facilities. Breakfast was of broad selection and good quality, Tobias satisfied all our wishes in the restaurant. All other staff members (receptionist and cleaning staff) were polite and very helpful. Though the hotel is on a road with tram traffic, noise isolation worked pretty well and we had silent nights. We could easily find parking on the other side of the road, which was luckily free during the weekend. I would definitely return to this hotel if visited Graz next time again."

However, a garbage truck or something passed by very early in the morning and it was very noisy and woke us up."

Viaggio senza sapone, shampoo e asciugacapelli, quindi è stata una grande sorpresa trovare tutto questo più bicchieri di carta per lavare e mettere il dentifricio! Bruno Barbieri apprezzerebbe gli asciugamani in bagno invece che sul letto! Ho apprezzato l'angolo tisaneria, la doccia e il terrazzo (ottima idea), l'arredamento era davvero minimal e sui toni del grigio con finiture in legno chiaro. I letti erano comodissimi, ho dormito molto bene! Gli addetti alla reception sono molto giovani e istruiti, mi è piaciuto molto il mio soggiorno."

Grand Hotel Wiesler
"My stay at the Wiesler Hotel went beyond my expectations. I booked the tiny room because I am not fussy about having a big room. When I entered the room I was disappointed because the bed was above ground level and that it's a no no for lumbago sufferers, such as I. The size was actually quite decent, certainly no 'tiny' at all, and so was the bathroom but the bed put me off. I walked down to the reception desk, and I asked for an upgrade. I told the senior gentleman at the desk (could he be the general manager or even the owner?) that I did no like the bed without footboard. He was most understanding and he issued 2 keys for me to check and to choose from the Comfort bedroom and the Grand bedroom. I chose the former -the bed had a proper footboard, legs and headboard. He offered me to stay at the Grand for the same price of the Comfort, I was very pleased by the kind offer but I said that I was happy to go for the Comfort. As he insisted I accepted the Grand bedroom, which has the size of a one-bed apartment. The location is spot on: it's right in the city centre with views to the river Mur in front. I had the buffet breakfast in my last day too and I highly recommend it if you enjoy a good quality and varied breakfast. I've tried the local red wine too at the bar in the lounge, which was excellent and at a surprising low price- after all this is Austria! The decoration of the rooms aren't the typical you find in a 4 stars hotel with history and the curious eye has seen in the lobby's beautiful colour lithographs that the hotel has changed its style a few times over the last century. But it won't put me off to stay back tat the Weisler next time I am in Graz."

"Definitely love this vintage hotel. So calm and comfort. Room is nice, cozy and space is enough. Staff are friendly. There is swim pool, sauna and resting area. And I love the most is the breakfast, is so nice and the restaurant is so nice too. Worth to staying here."
