酒店地理位置環境好，設施中規中矩。

Fantastic stay here paid for the upgraded room 207 stunning views huge room king size bed lovely bathroom . We had champagne on arrival which was nicely chilling in ice bucket. Lovely chilled spa pool steam room and sauna. We had excellent meal in the evening. Lovely cooked breakfast with high quality produce . Lovely 4 mile walk right from hotel in Loughrigg terrace. We will be back .

Dropped in for lunch whilst doing the rydal walk. Sat in the garden on the terrace and the views were amazing. staff nice, food was good worth a visit. The coronation chicken was delicious and the caesar salad was nice. good selection of drinks available

Nice hotel, grounds are lovely and staff are all pleasant and helpful, however we did have some issues, firstly my partner was trying to contact someone from the spa for several days with no answer and promises of a call back once he got through to someone but never received the call back until the day before our visit. He was trying to arrange a couples message in the same room which they eventually said they could accommodate so it was made very clear from the go this is what we were requesting. My partner spoke to chris on reception who was lovely and very helpful once we arrived at the hotel he apologised for all the inconvenience and upgraded our room which we were happy with. The room was really comfortable and clean with a gorgeous view. I think the food from the bar menu is a little over priced for what you get but it was very nice and also the restaurant in the evening was nice food and great service The breakfast was lovely and staff couldn't do enough for you in the restaurant At the time of our spa treatments we went into the spa filled our forms out at reception spent around 20 minutes in the pool and then was called for our massages, a younger girl took me into a beauty room where there were two message beds ready and began my massage whilst my partner was still in the changing rooms, I asked her could she wait as we are booked in together she then went and checked on my partner and said he was in the other room and fine with the set up. I had my hot stones massage which was lovely and relaxing. When I came out my partner was 2 minutes behind me and wasn't happy I told him the young girl had come to check on him and he said nobody asked him or told him what was going on, neither of us understood why one of the massage therapist a tall foreign lady with blonde hair would take my partner into a single room when both therapists were available and my room was set up for a couples massage??? He had requested this days before via email and on the phone several times to this particular therapist and she ignored what we wanted but agreed over the phone. We wasn't given any ropes and only a small hand towel to dry ourselves so we was freezing when we came out. This spoilt the experience for us. Overall the spa needs improvement it is dis organised and not relaxing when requests are not met. The hotel over all is nice very quiet but having been to many of these spa hotels in the lakes it's not one I would recommend for the price per night unfortunately, there are nicer hotels in the lakes I'd rather visit again.

A very familiar hotel for us as we have been going regularly since its opening. I do however think it requires a refurbishment as the decor has not changed in all that time. This is not a negative just a view. The Ladore Hotel in Borrowdale is now the benchmark. One negative is the front desk, this lets the hotel down nowadays, we made a request 4 times during our stay and it was never acted upon. In addition we were advised our remaining bill was x and we received a receipt for £30 more. We have queried this but yet to no avail. The restaurant team were as usual very attentive and polite, the front desk need to be of the same standard. We will be back but not for a while as the excitement of coming is no longer there.

We are regular visitors to this hotel and it is lovely going back and seeing the same staff. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious with comofortable beds. The food and choice of, along with drinks is really good. Great location for many walks and buses. Would highly recommend. Thank you for looking after us!
