It is always so good to be back. Even on a winter day, the hotel makes you feel comfortable. Relaxing landscape in a very large room, with an excellent bed. Water and chocolates are provided as courtesy. The balcony seems to put you inside the countryside, breath in breath out, and take all the fresh air you can. You can even take a bath while you enjoy the view. Breakfast is sublime. Freshly baked eggs on demand, coffee bar with hand made beverages, pastry and fresh fruit with several local items available. All of this while you glance at the infinite pool. You can even have breakfast outside, if it is not to cold.

Os funcionários eram bastante simpáticos e os quartos eram espaçosos e agradáveis.

Muito bom a nível de instalações, localização e o atendimento de todo o Staf. Perfeito para uns dias de descanso ... :)

Posto immerso nella natura e lontano dal frastuono della città! Camere pulite, ben illuminate e spaziose. I luoghi in condivisione sempre molto curati . Ampio buffet della colazione. Spesso mangiavamo fuori ma appena arrivate ci siamo trattenute a bordo piscina con un vegetariano toast veramente molto buono. Personale super gentile e disponibilissimo.

We stayed at Sobreiras Alentejo Country Hotel May 2024 for a weeding near by, as a big group with friends and family (about 60 people from UK). Sobreiras staff raised to the expectation and delivered a fantastic weekend with attention to detail, support to guest and great food and ambience. Everyone loved the stay and it is definitely considering coming back for a longer period. Thank you Lucia and all the other staff for taking care of us like you did. 5 starts!

I can not recommend this hotel at all. Lets start with the room: the inside is cheap and worn out and the bathroom dirty. There is no door between the sleeping area and toilet, so not kuch privacy there. Than, the location is really remote. Which would be fine if the amenities are well. But there is literally nothing to do and little to eat at the hotel. Dinner is served at 19.30, which is really late when travelling with small kids. During the day you can order salads from 12.30-15.00 and some toasts till 18.00. That’s it. And the nearest town Grandola is 15 minutes by car, on an unlit road. The common room is very noisy and too small for the amount of guests. So you need to sign up for a breakfast and dinner slot. When waiting for you breakfast there is not even a water kettle and a nespresso machine in the room, which I think are cheap and basic amenities for hotels of these price ranges. Somehow the pool isn’t inviting as well, there is little shadow and feels a bit sterile. All in all, the experience was not good. The hotel really needs to invest in maintenance and some basic amenities like water kettles, nespresso machines, larger common area, more f&b options, atmosphere and maybe think about some more leisure options on the premises. Now its just hostel quality for boutique hotel prices.

This is an unusual hotel pretty much in the middle of nowhere which is part of it’s attraction. The very rough access road leads to a large unsurfaced car park outside the attractive single story buildings of the hotel itself. It needs paved pathways from the car park so cases can be rolled. The atmosphere is calm and quiet. The design is modern and attractive. There is a pleasant pool area and there are tables for eating inside and out. The outlook reminded me of South Africa. Rooms are generally well designed and generous with an outside veranda overlooking the grounds. They are let down by having no door to close off the high speck bathroom and toilet which had a poor quality cheap plastic seat. Breakfast was very good. Lunch less so. Dinner was simple but good. Throughout or stay service was very good.

The views are simply stunning. The feel of the hotel is a contemporary bolt hole in the middle of a national park. The rooms are big and airy with a great outlook. The breakfasts are so so but could be so much better. The evening meal is good value for money. The hotel staff really do lack any enthusiasm or motivation to provide you with any advice or local knowledge. The cleaning staff are the ones who actually engage and seem the happiest. The hotel currently has work on site for future developments. The overall score would be about 7 out of 10 but could with a few improvements could increase.

Das Hotel hat nichts von einem 4 Sterne Resort Sehr Basic eingerichtet, das Abendessen und Frühstück waren nicht gut, eher Ibis Kategorie Kindermenu stand auf der Karte Chicken und french fries, da kamen viel zu gesalzene chicken Stücke und die French Fries waren Chips aus der Tüte

Gestão desastrosa de um local que tinha tudo para ter sucesso e proporcionar uma experiência fantástica e relaxante aos hóspedes. Apesar de sabermos que se situa num sítio remoto, a estrada de acesso à Herdade é terrível. Apesar de alcatroada, está cheia de buracos, com largura apenas para um carro. Todos os acessos, dentro da Herdade são em gravilha, sendo necessário carregar as malas, porque não deslizam neste piso. A higienização/limpeza do quarto e dos espaços comuns é insuficiente. O quarto apresenta sinais de infiltração, bolor e sujidade na casa-de-banho e nas cortinas. Os colaboradores não possuem formação adequada nem facilidade em responder às necessidades dos hóspedes. É notório que se esforçam, mas os recursos humanos são insuficientes. O ponto mais negativo é, sem dúvida, a degradação dos espaços: campo de ténis com piso danificado; bicicletas com os pneus furados durante toda a estadia; parque infantil com pregos salientes,... A piscina e o pequeno almoço, apesar de não serem nada de especial, são os pontos mais positivos a destacar.

Endroit surcoté, ne mérite pas les 4 étoiles. Beau cadre mais mal entretenu. Quel dommage. Les chambres mériteraient un rafraîchissement. Sol de la salle de bain très abîmé et caché par un vieux tapis, joint de la salle de bain à refaire… Jolie piscine Service à table, ils veulent bien faire mais pas assez professionnel. Le restaurant ressemble plus à une cantine avec des chaises en plastique. Nous avons vraiment été déçu et ne recommandons pas cet endroit à ce prix.

Un ensemble de bungalows autour de l’hôtel lui-même. Site en plein campagne, très calme (à part les grenouilles du lac, très en voix le soir), une architecture dépouillée (on aime ou pas), des chambres et des villas confortables. Accueil toujours aimable , assez lent à l’arrivée. Restaurant de bonne qualité. Des détails un peu agaçants qui mériteraient d’être corrigés à peu de frais: la route desservant les bungalows est vraiment trop dégradée, au détriment des suspensions des voitures. On ne fournit pas de plans du site aux clients et comme il n’y a pas de pancartes indicatives, si on est arrivé de nuit, on erre le lendemain pour trouver l’emplacement de l’hôtel depuis les bungalows…Dans les chambres, pas de distributeur de mouchoir en papier, pas d’endroit où poser son savon dans la douche. Au total, malgré cela, une bonne adresse .

Espaço muito giro , quartos grandes com uma óptima varanda, a única coisa a precisar de melhoramentos é a casa de banho. staff muito prestável e bom pequeno-almoço. Fizemos o jantar no restaurante, boa relação preço/qualidade. Experiência a repetir numa altura mais quente

Muito bom pequeno almoço. O local muito calmo. A nossa filha adorou o parque com baloiços bem como os passeios no campo. Atendimento cinco estrelas. A limpeza dos quartos. A cama muito confortável. A unica coisa a apontar é a insonorização dos quartos que não é a melhor.
