Hotel con colazione inclusa a Glenelg

The Grand is without a doubt all about the location! Given it’s ocean front position it should offer an absolute premium experience but instead falls a little short as it continues to date without much sign of refurbishment. The rooms are basic, the carpets old, the furnishings aging and everything just feels in need of some love. Bathrooms still have showers over the bath with shower curtains and the air con in the room wasn’t very effective (too hot despite being on the coolest setting). There was also a wedding being hosted during my 1 night stay and despite my room being on the 5th floor (ballroom is on level 1), I could hear the band/music until the end of the reception at 11:30pm. On the positive (besides premium location), the staff at reception / concierge were excellent. They greeted with absolute care on arrival and happiness during check out, despite being early in the morning. It felt like they enjoyed what they did and that’s so good to see in customer facing roles. Worth considering this hotel for a stay, just as long as you’re happy with basic ammenities in a great location.

Anche se il personale alla reception era amichevole e utile, la gestione deve assegnare più risorse alla pulizia (come sono sicuro che il personale limitato fa quello che può con il tempo che sono assegnati a pulire ogni stanza). La mia stanza era deludente, per quanto meno, e la rubin era lasciata dall'ocupatore precedente nel pannello del bagno e con le forniture di tè/caffeina. Il strato di polvere lungo la testa del letto era incredibile; era caldo nella stanza, ma il ventilatore del tetto era pieno di fiocchi e quindi non volevo usarlo. Grazie al bagno, alla doccia e alle lavastoviglie erano pulite, ma ho pensato sinceramente di lasciare entro 5 minuti dalla mia arrivo! Il piccolo parcheggio in loco è utile, ma è difficile da manovrare e disponibile solo se sei in anticipo. La foto del sito web della sala dirigente suggerisce di guardare il parco. Purtroppo, una vista del parco auto era per noi, ma la cosa buona su questo era che riduceva il rumore dalla strada. Non resterò più a Ensenada. Eviterò anche Gleneg - troppo rumore (bar tardi di notte), troppo occupato e molto grubbby in generale.

No reception or front counter. To get in is is similar to booking cases at the airport with a computer system at the front door. Had a problem with the operation (probably me) and no sense out of the first phone call for help but no worries with the second call to another number. The place is looking a bit tired in the hall ways however painters are working out side so maybe going to do the interior. The room was good size being an older place, bathroom new and modern, overall a nice room with usual facilities, a look out over the city. 10th floor. Would go back again in the future.

Easy check in and parking available. The rooms were big. The windows and carpet need a deep clean but the location is great and exactly what we needed for our overnight stay. The shower in the main bathroom however is not accessibility friendly as you need to step into a high bathtub with no handrail for support.

Il posto è in una grande posizione a Gleneg, a 2 isolati dalla strada Jetty e tutto ciò che è offerto. Parcheggio gratuito aperto e sicuramente a un prezzo di bilancio. Le camere sono pulite e i letti sono confortevoli. Le bagni d'altra parte sono una storia completamente diversa. Il doccia stile 70 nel bagno, le piastrelle di bagno dipinte e la manutenzione non sono certamente una priorità. Pitture pellicole, fughe di tappeti, le cime del banco laminato di particelle divise e chiuse e uscite dalle pareti. Ma si ottiene quello che ha pagato, è solo deludente che manca una semplice manutenzione. Il personale è molto piacevole e più che disposto ad aiutare ogni volta. Tuttavia, lavorano qui.

Check in was terrible wanted to upgrade to a 3 bedroom was told there was none but online there was 5 available. Got to our room there was 2 king when there was meant to be 2 singles and a king. Then I said I was happy for a roll away bed they were going to change me $58 a night. Finally we got the roll away bed. The last night there was a fire in the next doors room had to evacuate but not once did we get asked if we were ok the room smelt like smoke and had to open up the whole apartment for hours. The car parking was a disgrace only a few spots available and can’t fit a 4wd without the worry of someone hitting your car! Tried to buy bottles of water they don’t even have a vending machine. The heated pool was cold couldn’t even swim in it! Will never stay there again oh and we paid big money to stay there

March 2024 Here is a list of issues you may have to deal with: 1. Lights are weirdly wired. You can’t turn on the bathroom lights without having the rest of the lights on. This is problematic when one is sharing the apartment and one needs to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. Other guests staying at the apartments had the same issue. 2. It is stated that the apartment has Netflix but it does not work. When I mentioned it to the marketing girl she said she would have it looked at but no one came to the apartment to repair the problem. Again, other guests staying in the apartments had the same issue. 3. When we arrived on the 13th, there was only one tea bag instead of 2. I was sharing the room with my husband, that is not thoughtful, obviously we would have needed 2 teabags. 4. We stayed 5 nights and only had the room serviced once. I had left the tag to service the room but it was only done once. 5. On the Saturday our room was finally serviced but they did not replenish the toilet paper and we were left with none which meant we had to purchase toilet paper as there was no one in reception. If conveniences and service isn't important to you then by all means stay here. The apartments are just off the main road that have lots of great cafes and restaurants. The apartments are brand new, fresh, clean and modern. The staff are helpful and listen to concerns you may have. Read less Tip: An apt description for this place is Location, Location, Location.
