Gaya Island: i migliori hotel a 5 stelle

Prima di tutto, i più grandi complimenti alla squadra di custodia! Arrivammo nella nostra villa circa le 2:00, uscimmo circa le 4:00 e tornammo solo alla notte dopo cena per trovare: un mosquito con illuminato fuori dalla nostra porta, è stato fatto il letto, i caffè lavati, il bicchiere di rubino pulito, quanto pensiero! La vista del mare dal resort era magnifica, migliorata dal buon tempo. Il bevanda benvenuta di succhi di calamani con pium, aka Kitchai Ping come è noto localmente, era tanto buono quanto mia madre. Inizialmente avevamo intenzione di avere il fine settimana di te', ma apparentemente doveva essere prenotato almeno un giorno prima. Grazie a ciò abbiamo avuto un'ora felice invece, prima di avere il fine settimana di BBQ cena che abbiamo riuscito a prenotare una slot al momento dell'arrivo. Bartender ci ha dato dei piccoli colpi in cocktail, grazie per averci rilassato un po'! Tuttavia, sembravamo sfortunati con il servizio alimentare. Abbiamo prenotato per cena alle 6 ma la nostra seduta felice ora ha fatto qualche malcomunicazione e ritardo. Il cibo era buono e un sacco, anche se notammo che le satay erano mancanti, ma ci siamo mangiati bene. La colazione era anche un po' mischiata, la cucina deve essere abbondante con molti ospiti, ma abbiamo quello che volevamo alla fine. In generale siamo felici di stare. Non siamo riusciti a esplorare le tracce, forse potremmo tornare per un viaggio di giorno in futuro, e avere quel fine settimana di te' che abbiamo perso.

We spent 3 nights at Gaya Island Resort and had a great time, I thought I would write a review because there are a few things worth considering before you go. Firstly, the place itself is amazing, the staff are super friendly and caring - probably the most professional I have ever experienced in my many years of travelling. So all in all it was a wonderful stay. The things worth noting are as follows: 1. The sunbeds, I think may have mentioned it and it's worth mentioning again - there are nowhere near enough. When you pay and arm and a leg to stay at a beautiful resort it is annoying that they haven't found a way to add more sunbeds. People get there early, throw on their towels and stay or disappear and the seat is gone for the day. This is a solvable issue and the resort should so something about it. 2. Check in is after 3 - could be later - and it's not flexible, so if you are arriving earlier be prepared to sit around waiting for your room. It would be nice if they could flex a little as waiting hours for a room without your bags is not a joy, but it is what it is. 3. Eating - you are on the resort, so you are eating in one of their restaurants - no other options available. There are a few restaurants so not really a problem (we did the hot pot restaurant and it was great), but good to be aware. By far the most expensive places we ate in Malaysia, but I guess given the quality of the resort it wasn't a surprise and the main restaurant is reasonable enough. 4. Activities - my wife and daughter did the cooking class and loved it, we did the night walk - which was fun and me and my son did the coral garden. The Coral garden was fun and I was lucky to see a big old shark. However there is a large amount of plastic floating on the surface of the water that is quite concerning and makes the whole place not feel so clean. The corals and fish look healthy so may be fine, but be prepared to swim through bottles and crisp bags to see the fish. The local resorts and local authorities should really work together to resolve and you pay the tourist tax, so not sure where that's going, but not to plastic clearance by the look of it. Hope that's helpful. all in all, it's a beautiful place to stay, could just do with a tweak here and there to make it even better

Grande resort. Ci siamo fermati nella villa oceanica 30 per due notti. Ben mantenuto e posto speciale. Il personale è veramente sorprendente. Grazie speciali a Karl, il direttore del resort per aver ascoltato il nostro feedback e per aver ripreso un bel karma. Grazie anche al cuoco del ristorante per il miglior cibo che abbiamo avuto finora in Malaysia. Alcuni piccoli miglioramenti: - l'aria condizionata è un po' troppo alta anche in modo dormiente per continuare durante la notte - durante e dopo una pioggia tropicale il piombo non può più prenderla, accettiamo, ma non l'odore che ha dato all'interno della stanza. - sport acquatici liberi, kayak, subs - kayak al mangrove, fatelo da soli - colazione al vostro jet - molto buon cibo, miglior valore per soldi - personale orientato alla cura di tutti i dintorni che prendono molto bene cura di voi - pulizia plastica giornaliera dalla resort. Ricorda che non è il loro rifiuti. Faranno qualsiasi cosa per minimizzare l'impronta di plastica, anche fornendo le vostre bottiglie di bevanda - camere molto pulite, letti grandi, bagno sorprendente - solo un breve viaggio a barca da KK lontano Terima Kasih Echoresorts :)
