Hotel in zona Sinharaja Entrance Wathugala, Galle

From booking the villa almost a year ago to finally being able to visit in Dec 2023, our whole experience was amazing. Firstly a big thank you to Christophe and Diane who took their time to arrange everything we requested for both Christmas and New Years and made my Father's 75th birthday super special. Christophe and Diane were so accommodating and even arranged a video call with us ahead of our stay to ensure we were all set to go as it was a group of 8 of us and we had hired the whole villa! Approaching the villa itself is mind-blowing and you just realise that it is just as stunning as the pictures. As soon as we got there we were given a tour by Christophe himself and we got to meet all of the staff at the villa who became like our family over our 10 nights stay. Manju and his whole team are so friendly and couldn't do enough for all of us, we truly miss them all so much. The rooms are all amazing and have unique decor, each with an ensuite. The pool area is so peaceful and we spent a lot of time out here in each day just listening to the peacock which roamed around on the grounds and could also see the monkeys in the surrounding trees. One of my favourite spots had to be in the upstairs games room which has 2 swinging chairs where you could sit with your coffee and just listen to the surrounding nature (just felt so zen). We also made use of the gym which was definitely needed after all the delicious food we were eating each day. Christmas Day which was also the same day as our dad's 75th birthday was arranged so well. Christmas dinner was amazing and the fireworks and cake which were arranged ahead of our stay made the whole evening really special. Getting around from the villa to the nearby beaches and Galle was easy to arrange. We just had to let Manju know and he arranged for 3 Tuk Tuk's to take us around and these were very reasonably priced. He also arranged our day trip to Ella with a comfortable mini van which was a memorable trip for us all. Overall we cannot fault our stay and we would love to come back to the Divine. Our last day was emotional as we felt we were leaving family behind, Manju and team we truly miss you and thank you for everything you did for us and making our stay so special.

2023.9.28出發來到斯裏蘭卡，入住加勒古堡的Amangalla酒店，一家打卡的第六家安縵，感覺非常棒。Amangalla建於17世紀，前身是荷蘭的軍事指揮部，後來成為斯裏蘭卡的第一家酒店，1995被安縵集團收購，酒店不大，但是麻雀雖小 五臟俱全，有游泳池、按摩池、瑜伽室等，可以體會當地刮臉服務和足底按摩。 Amangalla是我住過的最小的一家安縵，在加勒古城的正中間，到燈塔10分鐘走路路程。周圍吃喝玩樂非常方便，有一家the tuna and the crab餐廳，是科倫坡米其林一星餐廳的兄弟店，銀子夠的話可以嘗一下。 一定要選擇他的茶園巡遊項目，中間還會帶你去看海龜孵化基地和高蹺釣魚。非常有趣，雖然我高蹺釣魚的時候掉下來踩到了岩石，受了傷，但是收穫了有趣的照片和難得的人生體驗。加勒古城也是非常值得轉的，amangalla可以安排車和導遊，酒店就在古城中心，位置好，去哪都很方便。雖然我高蹺釣魚掉海裏，把腳劃破了。總起來說，還是很有趣的經歷。 斯裏蘭卡的兩家安縵和之前住的幾家不一樣，離科倫坡比較遠，不提供免費接送機服務，我們五個人是大車amangalla接機費用大約400美金。需要注意的是兩個安縵有連續訂多少天的活動一般需要從官網定才算數，從攜程代理訂不算。

Family run hotel in a perfect location to explore Galle fort. The hosts were very attentive and gave us recommendations for the area. They helped with printing out documents which was greatly appreciated. Tea, Coffee and filtered water are provided along with a roof terrace. You can also buy gems and jewellery in the reception area. Thank you for hosting us!

Abbiamo visitato il maggio 2022. Il proprietario era amichevole e utile. Ha aiutato per l'affitto di bicicletta e per il cambio di valuta. Finalmente ha anche aiutato per il trasporto mentre abbiamo viaggiato dal Galles a Ella. Sono dotati di un'abitazione per riempire l'acqua con giochi all'ingresso. La stanza era pulita con Wi-Fi e altre strutture di base.

A me piaceva questo hotel! È appena finita una tour di scontro di sri Lanka. 9 hotel in 14 giorni, dalle piccole boutique ai grandi complessi, e questo è stato probabilmente il mio preferito del lot! Abbiamo soggiornato nella piscina, che, come il nome suggerisce, ha accesso sia alla piscina che alla spiaggia. Abbondante camera per 2 adolescenti e 2 adulti e molto arredate. Un meraviglioso colazione srilancana (facile il miglior colazione del mio viaggio). Bella zona bar e piscina anche che i bambini godevano. Tuttavia, è il personale che davvero rende questo posto. Amichevole, gioioso, utile. Sono tutto il commercio ospite dovrebbe essere. Questo è un piccolo gemello di un hotel!

I stayed few times at this hotel of which one time 2 months. It is central and close to everything. The rooms are very comfortable and there is also a communal kitchenette. The owner gave me access to the gym for free which was ofcourse a great service. I had room number one which gave me full view to the ocean as well as the backside village which I really enjoyed. I highly recommend this place

Che bel hotel per finire il nostro soggiorno in Sri Lanka - il soggiorno è perfetto, accesso diretto alla spiaggia e il personale è gentile e pronto a aiutare in qualsiasi modo possibile. Abbiamo soggiornato in numerosi hotel nelle ultime settimane e questo è lì con il migliore di loro. Il progetto di conservazione della tartaruga è appena vicino alla porta e che è stata una visita e un'esperienza sorprendente di poter liberare tartaruga bambina nel mare. Anche vedere l'impatto della plastica sulle tortughe porta alla vita il problema che tutti sappiamo esiste. Grazie Hotel Shinigawa e grazie Sri Lanka.

I plus dell'hotel sono molto buon colazione, cena. Una tavola svedese. Molto abbondante. Ci sono cibo marino e cucina locale. Molto delizioso. Voglio anche segnare la qualità tradizionale del letto Marriott. La spiaggia in questo posto è grande. Puoi nuotare tranquillamente - le onde non sono così forte. È molto pittoresco se vai a sinistra e a destra. Ora, per quanto riguarda le carenze, purtroppo, c'è ancora di più. Il personale è molto insoddisfacente, non si sentì felice qui, facendo un favore. Il giorno della partenza, appena 12 minuti dopo, il personale ha iniziato a colpire la porta e a chiedere il rilascio della stanza. Quando si cercava di pagare il ricevimento con la carta di pagamento dell'Unione, il personale ha detto che il terminale per le carte russe non funzionava, anche se, altrove e negli hotel dello Sri Lanka, tutto funzionava senza problemi e riusciva a pagare ovunque. Questo comportamento spiega il cliente, che è ancora molto strano per un hotel come Marriott e per il servizio. Vorrei anche notare che in questo hotel non ci sono stati pizzi ortopedici o altri pizzi - quando ho cercato di imparare su questa opportunità, mi è stato rivolto con cortesia che non ci sono altri pizzi e tutto. In generale, per il personale, il servizio e la sua atteggiamento - grasso meno e cattiva valutazione

Kumu is a beautifully appointed guest house, beach front with five star service. Our daughter decided to have her destination wedding at the property, which was amazing. The staff made sure the day was memorable with a dash of Sri Lankan culture, which included traditional Sri Lankan dancers and singers, concluding with a delicious Sri Lankan Feast for all the family. Our Australian family of all ages really enjoyed the property, especially relaxing and swimming in the lovely pool. We had a variety of room types and all were well appointed and luxurious. Breakfast which is included in the tariff was the best we had in Sri Lanka. The massage was awesome and just what we all needed after travelling. Could not fault this property or its staff. The staff organised day trips to amazing Galle Fort which is only a short drive away. We hope to return as it was such a wonderful accommodation. It is awesome for groups and families and also works for couples. Social hour is a fabulous chance to enjoy a GnT with other guests. We enjoyed the company of the other guests that were from all over the world. If you prefer a quiet Social Hour there are plenty of locations on the property that you can enjoy a private drink or two. Walks on the beach are especially romantic as it is very private with hardly any people on it. However, if you are travelling with a group or a large family, and do not wish to rent a villa, this is the perfect location. The staff go above and beyond to make sure everyone has an incredible time.
