We spent a night at this Hotel (Hotel JAL City Fukuoka Tenjin) in mid/late Nov 2023 and we had a pleasant stay. The room was very clean and of decent size. The tub was of full size tub that can fit a person easily. The tub is very rare indeed for hotel in Japan and a lovely room amenity after a full day of walking / site seeing.
The location is great and it is just 2 minutes walk to Akasaka Subway Station. We visit the Park next to the Hotel in the morning and then visit the Tenjin / Hakata area for shopping in the afternoon before taking a night flight back.

La stanza è pulita e temperata, apprezzo che il personale dell'hotel lasci fuori dalla mia stanza ogni giorno un sacchetto di asciugamani puliti, un pj, un paio di nuovi pantaloni e acqua minerale, anche se non chiedo servizio in camera. L'hotel non è troppo lontano dalla stazione di metro più vicina. Anche se la strada può essere un po 'di calma a notte, ma l'hotel sta affrontando la strada principale, è sicuro di rimanere in questo hotel. Mi piace l'aspetto esterno e interno dell'hotel. La camera in cui abbiamo effettuato il check-in il primo giorno aveva un forte odore di sudore, che non poteva essere dissipato anche se accendevamo l'aria condizionata o aprivamo le finestre. This is the most disgusting and despicable thing any hotel management can do is to chase my father off the premises when he was waiting quietly for me downstairs to have breakfast. I am staying with my mother in this hotel and since they’re not together anymore, my father decided to wait for me at the quiet third floor banquet. I was just getting ready to meet my father when the security manager and his team of security threatened my father with Police to arrest him! To which my father replied that his lawyer will sue them for malicious prosecution! Since he was just quietly sitting at the sofa waiting for his son to come down! Not having issues. Eventually, my father removed himself from the hotel but yet; the security manager was physically manhandling my father while at the lobby by grabbing his arm even though he was walking normally! The security manager was just trying to create a scene with my father. DO NOT STAY HERE! These people here are vile and vindictive in their demeanours! Totally unprofessional and have no work ethics! No services from the heart ❤️ They are a total disgrace to the hospitality industry! Definitely not a 5 Star Hotel in services but more like a putrid fish market!

Invece, è stato bello lavorare proprio davanti alla stazione, e il centro commerciale della stazione Hakata è grande, quindi consiglierei brani per gli acquisti piuttosto che per la vista. Mi preoccupava che l'odore delle sigarette fosse cattivo nelle precedenti revisioni, ma fortunatamente il numero di piano che ero lì non era odoroso, ma gli adulti non lo raccomandano. Il bagno è troppo piccolo rispetto alla stanza, quindi può essere sconveniente di usare.

Very clean, well organized, and not too far from the train and metro station. The self check-in seems to not work more often than it does work, but once you're past that, everything is easy. Plenty of private toilets and showers. Lockers are tall and can fit a 14 inch wide backpack. All amenities are provided. The mattress is thin and the pillow is hard. Room temperature is fine.

As a first-time visitor to Fukuoka, I was enamored by the city's charm, and this hotel quickly became a highlight of my trip. From tantalizing late-night eats to leisurely shopping strolls and serene photo spots free from tourist throngs, Fukuoka had it all.
Upon arrival, it's essential to note that there are two hotels with the same name; the one we selected, situated in Gion, stands just a few blocks from the Hakata outlet. (A friendly reminder: Opt for metered taxis over the airport counters to avoid inflated fares.)
Check-in was seamless, and the hotel graciously accommodated our request to store luggage as we explored the city. Their self-service storage option, complete with a secure four-pin lock, provided peace of mind throughout our stay.
The hotel boasted comprehensive amenities, surpassing those of the three other accommodations we sampled during our journey. Our room, generously sized, easily accommodated our luggage with ample space to spare.
The provided onsen attire was remarkably comfortable, so much so I wore it out under my jacket for the second night! I recommend heading to the onsen in the afternoon and past midnight to avoid the crowd. Post-soak, complimentary popsicles awaited—a delightful treat indeed.
Pro tip: ince their onsen is located on the 1st level of the hotel, you can store your onsen items in the locker before heading out to explore. After a long day, you can head to the onsen to ”defrost” and clean up before heading up to sleep.
Equipped with a smart TV, our room offered the luxury of streaming our favorite YouTube and Netflix content, adding a touch of familiarity to our evenings. Another standout feature was the live updates on onsen availability and laundry room usage—though it's worth noting that the latter incurs a fee, a minor inconvenience amidst an otherwise stellar stay.
This hotel exceeded expectations, providing unparalleled comfort and unparalleled convenience. With all essentials at our doorstep, exploration was effortless, leaving us with cherished memories of our time in Fukuoka.

神神戸からNon è speciale in questa categoria di hotel, ma il bagno e la toilette sono separati e la vasca da bagno è ampia, quindi ho trascorso un piacevole bagno. Anche il letto è comodo. TTY11I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Oriental Hotel in Fukuoka, and it was truly an experience to remember.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm Japanese hospitality and was quickly checked-in by the friendly staff. The lobby was beautifully decorated.
My room was clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The high-speed Wi-Fi was reliable, which was a plus for my trip. The bed was comfortable.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's restaurant. The breakfast buffet offered a fantastic variety of both Japanese and Western options.
The hotel's location is excellent. It's just a short walk from the train and bus stations, which is full of shopping, and restaurants.
My overall experience was fantastic. The Oriental Hotel Fukuoka offers a comfortable stay, excellent service, and a unique blend of tradition and modernity. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fukuoka!

UUtente ospiteSono attratto da questa posizione, dall'aeroporto di Fugo alla stazione di Bodo, c'è due stazioni sulla linea dell'aeroporto di metropolitana, da Bodo alla stazione di metropolitana all'hotel per circa due minuti a piedi.Questa volta, voglio andare a Bodo e a Shangkou County, quindi questa è una comoda casa. Le strutture sono le strutture necessarie dall'angolo davanti alla reception. Dal punto di vista ambientale, penso che sia un buon tentativo.Voglio rimanere qui di nuovo.Grazie mille.

PPgcresRoom size for a 3 Bedder room is still alright for us. There are lots of restaurants around the hotel. If you get to the hotel via Exit 6 from Tenjinminami Station, there is no escalator or lift and takes about 8 minutes from the exit. There is a lift from the station opposite of exit 6 though (near Diamaru) which we used when we left the hotel to go to airport.

Llollipoppu.È la mia prima volta che mi fermo in un hotel di capsula. E 'vicina alla linea JR, Donki Quite, Station Hakata, Shop convenienti così grande posizione! HHungryManUn grande posto per rimanere se siete a Fukuoka per una breve visita, o persino più. Se i prezzi rimangono entro un intervallo ragionevole, scelgo di tornare qui.
I positivi:
• Situazione a pochi passi dalla stazione di Gion, Nakasu, Kushida/Shinto shrine, Temple Tochoji e ha molti ristoranti nella zona da scegliere.
• Le camere sono ben pulite prima dell'iscrizione, i letti sono molto comodi (letti doppi piccoli) e le foglie sono pulite.
• Buona pressione idrica e acqua calda affidabile.
• Buona lavaggio del corpo e shampoo/condizionatore
• Caffè gratuito disponibile 7am - 8pm, lavanderia sul sito e una scelta di colazione di base.
• Buona prova del suono.
I negativi:
• 4pm check-in, ma questo sembra normale per il Giappone.
• C'è una zona di deposito dei bagagli con alcuni chiusure fornite, ma personalmente non mi sembra molto sicuro se qualcuno sceglie di agire (sono le telecamere di sicurezza nelle aree pubbliche che coprono il deposito dei bagagli)
• Nessun servizio di pulizia della stanza, un'ulteriore tassa 3000Y se richiesto.
• Le camere sono dotate di compresse per servizi come il check-out, le telecamere dovrebbero probabilmente avere chiusure/coperte fornite.

UUtente ospiteRecentemente ho avuto il piacere di rimanere in questo hotel che ha superato davvero le mie aspettative in termini di comodità, trasporto e strutture. Dal momento in cui sono arrivato, mi ha colpito la posizione strategica dell'hotel, che ha fatto esplorare la città come una brisa.
L'hotel si trova idealmente nel cuore della città, circondato da vari servizi come centri commerciali, ristoranti e luoghi di intrattenimento. Questo posto me ha consentito di accedere facilmente alle attrazioni turistiche popolari, alle aree commerciali e ai centri di trasporto, assicurandomi di fare il massimo del mio tempo durante il mio soggiorno.
In termini di trasporto, la vicinanza dell'hotel alle opzioni di trasporto pubblico è stato un grande plus. Alla breve distanza di passo, ho avuto accesso alle stazioni di autobus e alle stazioni di metropolitana. Questo mi ha reso facile navigare la città e mi ha salvato un tempo prezioso che potevo spendere su altre attività.
Quando si tratta di un hotel, non sono stati molto eccellenti. I membri del personale erano amici e attenti, assicurandomi che mi sentissi benvenuto e comodo durante il mio soggiorno.
Le camere erano ben progettate e improvvisamente pulite, i letti confortevoli forniscono un sonno tranquillo, e le strutture fornite erano di alta qualità.
In generale, la mia esperienza in questo hotel era eccellente. La sua comoda posizione, con facile accesso al trasporto, ha fatto esplorare la città come una brisa. Le eccellenti strutture e le comode camere hanno assicurato che il mio soggiorno sia rilassante e piacevole.

AArnold DayritWe usually stay in a newer boutique hotel in Tenjin. We had to stay in Plaza Hotel Tenjin this time since our fave hotel was fully booked. We booked two rooms - a semi double non smoking room and a double smoking room (they ran out of non smoking double rooms).
Location is good. The hotel is near Akasaka station and Tenjin station. A lot of good shops and restos in the area like Ippudo, Lamp Light Books Cafe, Little Napoli, Billy's, Apple, Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Levi's, Muji, and dozens more pre-owned clothing stores.
Hotel is kinda dated. As expected, the rooms are small but the bathrooms are even smaller. The bed mattresses, comforters, curtains, and carpets have seen better days. But the amenities like yukata, coffee, tea, and tons of toiletries are excellent.
You can expect your room to be (limited) cleaned, i.e. replace towels, bring out the trash, and vacuum the carpet, daily between 10am and 11am only. Wish that they also replace and fix the beddings daily for long-stay guests like us.
Check-in and check-out procedure was a breeze.
Front desk personnel (specially the Japanese lady staffers) were very helpful specially when we needed two taxis to go to the airport during rush hour.
Just like other small hotels, it has a common room with an ice machine, vending machines (for drinks), microwave oven, and coin laundry. All these were very useful and convenient to have.
