Right on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi, Shuhokaku Kogetsu features outdoor hot-spring baths with lake views, traditional Kaiseki dinners in the privacy of guests’ rooms and a terrace with Mount Fuji views. The Japanese rooms all have views of the lake and Mount Fuji. Guests at Shuhokaku Kogetsu Inn sleep in traditional Japanese style, in futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Each air-conditioned room has an en suite bathroom, an LCD TV and central and window-side seating areas. The property is about a 10-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station. Fujiomuro Sengen Shrine is 5 km away. Parking is free. You can relax with a massage, unwind at the sauna or sing karaoke. Free WiFi is available at the lobby, which also has a piano. ロビーには自動演奏のグランドビアノが優雅な音楽を奏でており、一瞬にして非日常的な感覚に浸れます。
大浴場を出たらビール又はお水が準備されていて、おもてなし～を満喫できます。
個室での夕食もゆっくり上品なお料理が楽しめました。
全てのスタッフの方々の意識の高さがうかがわれます。
眺めも河口湖&富士山は絶景でした。

Worth staying, all the rooms facing the Mount Fuji. Stunning view of Mount Fuji just in front of you. Room is newly renovated. Good staff service, and it is a baby friendly hotel

Super nice view of Mt Fuji. Staffs are very helpful as well. Also, I expected the room to be a bit worn-out since the hotel has a long history but it turned out super neat and new.

Room was big and clean with an amazing view of Mt fuji. Kiseki dinner was also delightful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back again.

The hotel view is excellent and wake up with Fuji mount view.
The service is good and free shuttle to the station. The hot bath with Mount Fuji view. It’s very relaxing.

Super nice and helpful staff!!! Nice view from and room is big. We were having a really great time. I was there during autumn, and really close to Momiji Corridor Lake Kawaguchi, it’s worth the visit if during that time. Recommend to book at least 3 months in advance or there is no option for room.
