Anche prima del nostro arrivo, abbiamo avuto esperienze molto positive con il personale estremamente cordiale, che ha risposto alla nostra richiesta speciale di parcheggio con la nostra macchina grande ed è stato molto disponibile. Ci siamo sentiti i benvenuti fin dall'inizio! Grazie! La casa è una vecchia signora, in condizioni relativamente buone, il che non è certo facile. Fai un piccolo viaggio indietro nel tempo e noi siamo entusiasti delle camere arredate con cura. Ognuna in uno stile diverso, ma perfetta per chi ama qualcosa di speciale e un po' di storia! La posizione è ottima e la tranquillità qui è meravigliosa. Ritorneremo sicuramente!

Such a beautiful heritage hotel, perfectly located. Staff was extremely helpful and villa carries a lot of charm and hospitality.

We arrived in the afternoon and left early the next day. The Hotel is located within walking distance of Sudbahnhoff and once there its a short hop to the City Center. Or you can take a 15-20 minute walk to the entertainment district of Sachsenhausen. The Hotel itself looks worn and old when you enter. The carpet on the stairs has definitely seen better days. My wife thought they are in the process of renovating. However, I won't ding them because the room itself was modern and spotless. The power window rolladen were a very nice touch. The bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and a very affordable price too. Finally parking was easy and free. This is a big deal when you go to Frankfurt. So I don't want to be negative because overall a very enjoyable stay.

Lovely welcome from kind and friendly staff. A proudly retro place that is a million miles away from a typical Frankfurt international chain hotel. Room and bathroom were huge and very clean. Bed very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Thanks to you all for a great experience.

Lovely hotel! Owner was very kind and waited up for us when our plane was delayed, since he had no way to contact us! Lots of old world charm in the rooms: exactly what American travelers are looking for in Europe. Clean and comfortable setting. Wonderful breakfasts with selection of bread, fruits, and cold cuts. We looked forward to it each morning. Convenient location near bus lines and south station. Really can't recommend enough. Thanks for an amazing stay for my family!

This place is a gem! Beautiful, old, historic, quirky. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. There are great dining options a short walk away. We took an Uber to the "Old New City" and had a great time walking around and enjoying the vibrant local community and admiring the beautiful architecture. But be forewarned: this hotel doesn't have an elevator so if you have heavy luggage be prepared to haul it up the stairs. Their friendly staff will of course offer to help. I couldn't tell if the heaters in the bedrooms are also air conditioners, but with the window open and the fan running it was fine in the June temps.

This was such a fun place to stay! It definitely isn't a typical chain hotel. It is relatively close to the bus/train/underground station. If you are traveling by foot be aware that you will be walking uphill from the station! I did not have breakfast because I had an early flight, but I did get to enjoy my private balcony in the evening.

The staff is amazing, if I could give them 10 stars I would. Rooms are fantastic, very comfortable beds and good size. Very clean hotel and the breakfast was delicious. This is a perfect location for walking to see the old part of town, lots to see do and eat. The hotel is top notch! highly recommend.

The place has charm to spare and it's located conveniently near the train/bus/subway station. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The location is generally quiet, even with a children's play area next to it. But, there are some issues: I knew about the lack of an elevator prior to the booking. Fortunately, staff did help with getting the luggage up. Still, the stairs to the upper floor can be a choir can be a challenge for the less physically fit. The bedding in the single room I found to be extremely uncomfortable, the mattresses being hard and narrow. ( No room with a double became available per staff.) No desk, although there was a pleasant alcove where I could set up for computer work, but electric outlets not convenient to that task. All the same that space was a great place to enjoy coffee. Staff did provide kettle and cup upon request. Bathroom big and spacious. No fridge. Good wifi. Nearest shops are located at the station. The walk down isn't too bad; there is a slight grade getting to the hotel which makes lugging the luggage a bit difficult. Combined with the stairs to the room, think carefully about any need for snacks/drinks before retiring. Pleasant as the place is, I won't be returning primarily due to the physical demands involved, and I can't recommend the rooms with single beds. But folks with better legs and energy might well enjoy it.
