This Best Western is located on the outskirts of Tamworth in Appleby Magna and proves brilliant for both business and leisure getaways. The hotel lies just off Junction 11 on the M42, so you’ll also be within driving distance of many major cities including Birmingham, Loughborough, Derby and Nottingham. If you head to Birmingham, we recommend stocking up on Dairy Milk at Cadburys World – only a 45 minute drive away from the hotel. Derby Cathedral and Loughborough’s Beacon Hill Country Park are both only thirty minutes away, and will make for some superb snapshots to show your friends and family. If you don’t wish to travel quite so far, plenty of family fun can be found closer by. Drayton Manor Theme Park is less than a 20 minute drive away and Twycross zoo is only four minutes away - both making for great days out.
The Best Western is also a mere 20 minute drive from Donington Park, where Download Festival is held every year in June. So, if you’re hoping to swerve the muddy camping or simply enjoy a luxurious night’s stay – and long shower - after the weekend, the Best Western is ideal.

酒店地處一大片綠地，很舒服；房間不大，很乾凈，住一個晚上是ok的。唯獨床太小，被子一晚上掉下去幾次, 床墊對我們來説太軟了，睡一晚有點腰痠。

Booked on the same day. Reception texted me with exact directions as the sat nav coordinates cover a big area, which was a great start. Arrived, checkin was smooth, double room allocated on the ground floor. Room was excellent, clean and spacious. Our window view was lovely, green trees and very quite. Ample parking. Full english cooked breakfast plus fresh fruit and pastries. Hot tea or coffee. Bed was very comfortable. My only complaint is other guest smoking outside our window. I did tell reception, who came and sprayed our room with a air freshner. We found a chinese restuarant only 10mins drive called Wong Kwei, very good food excellent service. A must visit to The National Arboretum Centre, free entry. Pre pay for parking (£4.00) to avoid disapointment. As a good will gesture leave a donation. Well worth a visit. Approx 20 mins drive from the hotel. We will stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location for what we needed while we attended the festival at catton park, bright clean and spacious restaurant/bar area. Parking was also available and situated in a good place. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable the bathroom had a shower and bath which was great. I would also like to give a huge thank you to all the staff who are so lovely and friendly, especially Lisa who made our weekend so much better with her warm and welcoming personality very knowledgeable on the local areas and any other questions we had, she is an absolute credit to the hotel and her role absolutely fantastic!

Just off the A42 and ideal for a stopover. Room was comfortable but no reading light. En suite was reasonable but would have liked a grab handle in the shower. Food was reasonable for dinner but breakfast was a bit basic - no mushrooms, beans or black pudding available on the buffet.

We have stayed at the hotel twice in the last month. It’s in a perfect location, the staff are so friendly and accommodating, we went with our 2 year old son and the staff always said hello to him and made him feel just as welcome. the room was clean and tidy with everything we needed, food was good. We will definitely book here again as we have family near by so it’s ideal. Very happy overall.

i have stayed at this hotel once before, the location is ideal for going to twycross zoo, you can sometimes get hotel and zoo deal, the facilities are good and the staff are helpful, i would go there again, as a relitive lives near bye, is i would see them again

This could have been a disaster as it was the hottest night of the year and there was no air conditioning! Despite that we managed with a fan. The bed was comfy the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The staff could not have been more helpful. Plenty of parking.
