We had stayed at this hotel a few years ago when visiting relatives in Florida. We booked it for a couple of days as we are moving our dad to nursing care on Cape Coral. All we wanted was a good nights sleep in a clean room. This hotel has been updated so much since we were here before. My husband was laughing at how excited I was to see Dove Body Lotion in the bath room, just coming from the Bahamas, my skins was so dry…they have Kerigs for coffee and tea in the room, new carpeting, walls and ceilings newly painted and the beds are so comfy. Just what we need for this trip. There was some music playing next door, but we had a small balcony to sit on a have a cup of tea before bed and listen to the tunes, they stopped at 9, so not any issues with that at all. We have an early start tomorrow so glad they have breakfast in the lobby. I would highly recommend this hotel to travelers. We stayed in room 320 today 3/30 and will stay on 3/31 and head home on Saturday.

We love this location right in the middle of downtown Fort Myers, Florida. We've stayed here a few times, including before the recent renovation. There is a an interesting variety of rooms with different layouts which we enjoyed. This time we chose a King room with balcony and city view. The balcony is small but big enough for 2 people and while it does have an ok ”city view,” it also looks down upon another roof below with all the air conditioners (something we do not like when paying extra for a ”view”). However, you can also see the river along with a bit of Patio DeLeon, in the middle of downtown Fort Myers. At night, is where the view shines with all the colorful lighting and usual music can be heard from live musicians. This room is fairly large for a boutique hotel with a larger than usual TV. However, the TV and dresser on which it sits are oddly placed in a corner at an angle, and pretty far from the bed detracting from the size of the screen. Programming is not in HD and also not set to the correct proportions (everything was vertically compressed) and the remote does not allow adjustments for this. It has a nice kitchenette area with a mini fridge but no microwave which we thought it should have given the price for the room and how inexpensive small microwaves cost (It may have been an option but it should already be there). Shower is very nice but every 30 seconds the water pressure dropped, then climbed back up - no biggie, just odd. Toilet paper seemed cheap for this type of hotel but all other items seemed to match this type of hotel. You have to pay $3 per bottle for the 2 bottles that are already in the room. It's like ”nickel and diming” for something as inexpensive as bottled water - like having no microwave, it takes away from the experience given the price of the room. Some light fixtures were not fully seated into the ceiling and like most hotels, the air vent in the bathroom had visible dust (I realize most people don't even look at these things, but I tend to notice it). The bed, although newer, was very firm, and not what we typically find in an upscale hotel. The walls are ”thin” allowing sounds from outside and adjacent rooms to be heard which is just an observation, not necessarily a negative. Front desk personnel were friendly, professional and helpful. Parking options are basically valet or one of 2 nearby parking garages. One parking garage is literally across the street which worked great for us at a lot less than using valet - pros and cons to each. The ice machine on our floor was not working which requires you to acquire ice on another floor (we were on the 7th floor - the top floor). There is a nice little rooftop bar which has a similar view of the city as our room but a little higher. The bar area has decent seating with a good mix of small couches, chairs and high top tables. We did not eat or have room service during this stay but it's available. Overall, it's a very nice, small hotel in an ideal, convenient location and we will definitely go back.

Eccellente
UUtente ospiteThis hotel is far from fancy but for the money I can't see how you could do better. We stayed here the first and last nights of our 12-night trip after flying in and getting picked up by the shuttle bus driver. The pool and hot tub were both better than some more expensive hotels we stayed at on this vacation. The place was clean, our bed good, the a/c worked were, the breakfast nothing special but the value for the money was impressive. There were some kid sport teams staying the last night which were a little noisy but no problems. We stayed at another airport hotel in the area on this trip that cost a good deal more and we decided to come back here the last night instead. There are several eating places close by, one is a sports bar right next door.
Boy siamo stati sbagliati!
UUtente ospiteDue to a recent hurricane, it became necessary to spend a few days in a hotel. This Quality Suites was clean, comfortable, and had a wonderful breakfast each morning, with 24/7 hot beverages available as well. The management and front desk staff were professional, helpful, and courteous. Those responsible for maintenance and cleaning of the facility did a great job. Thank you!
UUtente ospiteWe stayed one night. When checking in, the front desk person could not find my rate and tried to tell me if was a higher rate. This should have been my first clue as to the type of hotel it is. Going into the room, it was medium clean, but we were only staying one night and less than 12 hours so we thought we could survive. It wasn't until the next morning that we saw there was no soap for a shower, which would have been ok as I had some with me, but the water pressure was terrible, and this was at 6 am. We passed on a shower, packed our bags and went to breakfast. I told the front desk clerk and she made a production about writing down the room number and they would check out the water pressure. I also mentioned that there was no soap. She said that we could have requested another room, but they did know there wasn't enough soap available because the order didn't come in. (hello, you're by a large city; aren't there any supercenters around?) Then we ate breakfast, not a very good one, and no juice available in the machine -- what's wrong with buying plastic containers and putting the juice in a small dispenser? When we sat down, the table next to us was laughing at what I'd said to the desk clerk. They had so little water pressure that it took 20 minutes to wash out the soap in their hair! As we talked to them, they had the same complaints we did. We finished packing the car and checked out. I asked for a receipt and we had a charge for a wall safe that we never used. I asked for it to be taken off and she did so reluctantly. I will check my credit card bill to make sure this happened. All in all, I would never stay there again. I called corporate and complained, and I just received an email (not very professionally written and full of misspellings and grammar mistakes) stating that I received a discounted rate and they were not going to discount the room any more. I think I've convinced my husband that the cheapest hotel is not necessarily the way to go. Remember, you get what you pay for.
