B&B Cerretani Palace

We don’t know how we found this place to stay in Florence but what a find. Our room was large and spacious. Edorado met us when we checked and made it so easy. Breakfast was delivered every morning and was great. This is a perfect spot to get all around Florence. From the train, to Duomo, shopping, etc. perfect location. We would highly recommend staying here again and if traveled to Florence again we would stay here.

Our stay at Cerretani Palace has come to an end today. We stayed for 5 nights and would not hesitate to stay here again. We highly recommend this accommodation for its superb location overlooking Piazza del Duomo so you get to enjoy the lively atmosphere of so many tourists coming and going and the breathtaking view of the Baptistery and Cathedral. Our room was clean, comfortable and serviced professionally. Breakfast was served in the room promptly at the time we chose. The host went over and beyond to assist with anything we needed. The accommodation has the feel of staying in your “own” private place in the middle of Firenze. So special.

We stayed in the very special room with the balcony overlooking the Duomo and would really recommend this. It was a magical location from where we had a stunning view of the piazza and could sit and watch the world go by. Lovely to be able to see the piazza wake up in the morning. Lots of music and crowds outside which was fun to watch. A lively location but we slept very well in the comfortable beds. The room was very spacious, tastefully designed and beautifully proportioned with high ceilings. The bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was brought to us on a tray every morning by Edoardo and we enjoyed it on the balcony. There was a simple form to complete each day with your choice of breakfast and time. Lovely pastries and coffee. We loved the fact that there were no communal areas so you felt able to escape the crowds of Florence and enjoy this location from the privacy of the room. Edoardo was kind and attentive throughout, answering queries before our arrival and maintaining contact via WhatsApp throughout. He gave us some great restaurant recommendations, offered to make reservations and carried our cases to and from the taxi. A very memorable stay- would love to return!

My husband and I stayed at the Cerretani Palace in Florence, Italy, for 2 nights and it was wonderful. Great location- ( I could almost touch the Baptistery of the Duomo from our window) , the friendliest staff ever ( Thank You, Eduardo!), authentically Florentine, clean, delicious homemade breakfast, updated bathroom… we loved it! Do not expect an American westernized hotel. This is a B&B run as a family business. It is exactly what it is supposed to be- a European apartment once lived in as a home and now made into a Guest House. I am not sure how many rooms there are, but it is now a charming hotel- the staff do not live on site and you are not staying in someone’s current home. We were given a key to our room and the codes to 2 doors and otherwise, we did not see Eduardo until the mornings. Saying that, I have no doubt that he was accessible had we needed him. Eduardo was so nice! On our last day, we had a 6:40am flight from Florence to Paris. Eduardo organized our taxi for us, but even more than that…he came into work at 5am to help us with our bags- seriously! He doesn’t usually come in that early, I feel certain…but, he acted like it was no trouble (he volunteered this by the way…we didn’t ask or expect it). The apartment is decorated like a home. The bathroom in our room was modern and the bed was comfortable with nice crisp sheets. The photos represent the property as it is. We opened our window in the evenings while getting ready for dinner and could hear opera music from the street. I felt like I was in Room With a View. Eduardo made delicious scrambled eggs for our breakfast and when we got in after a long day sightseeing ( and shopping!) , there were pastries waiting for us with cold bottles of water. It was all charming! We would stay there again and again. It just suited us and the way that we like to experience Europe. Thank you, Eduardo and family, for a wonderful 2 days in Florence!

There is only one word to describe this hotel and the hospitality: Excellence! We were on our honeymoon arranged by an excellent Italian organizer and Host throughout Italy over 18 days, amazing. This hotel was the perfect fit for Florence, among all the other unique experiences, reserved only for us thanks to our Hosts' exclusive access to incredible places and experiences.
