Dunvegan Inn & Suites

Property is super old and outdated and lots of things dont work. My TV wouldnt work bathtub wouldnt drain, no towels in room when I arrived. Everything seemed like a hassle for the front desk lady as well. Last time I stayed there, their was hair all over my bed upon arrival the carpet was all stained with god knows what i wore sandals the whole time in the room.

First room was not cleansed from the previous occupants. Second room heat didn't work. Third room very outdated and smelled.

Hotel suites were huge and a great place for our hockey team to gather. There was an upstairs area with beds, bathroom and a TV. Main floor had a living room, kitchen, half bath, fireplace. We had lots of room to have other hotel guests come over. TV in the living room is a bit small, but it worked!

A decent stay in an older hotel. Some wear and tear evident but still comfortable and quiet. A bit over-priced.

Not new but kept in good shape. Beds are comfortable. However, one bath towel and one hand towel for 2 guests is poor. Desk clerk was far from welcoming or helpful. Had a scowl on her face the whole time. Staff in the cafe and the Dunvegan Inn Sports bar on the north end were very friendly. Would stay here again if in Fairview.

Check-in was a little slow due to a new employee which was not a big deal, however it was a little uncomfortable to watch the young recruit being chastised by her manager. Note to all managers: no need to reprimand an employee in front of customers- Its unprofessional and often comes across as mean. Have your heated discussions privately otherwise just step in to help without comment until the guests have left. Otherwise the front staff were polite. The rooms were clean buy dated. The bathrooms have been upgraded as noted by new lino etc. and were clean. The AC worked but was quite loud. (as many hotel AC units are) The bed was comfortable. The desk chair in the room had its seam torn wide open. Overall the room appeared tidy and was adequate for my needs. My second floor room (208) looked down onto the parking lot. Other rooms had a lovely view of wide open green fields which gave way to amazing sunsets so choose a third floor room facing the back of the hotel for those views. There was a restaurant and pub attached to the hotel which was convenient. I had breakfast at the restaurant and it was tasty and served by a friendly waitress. We can't say the same for the pub however. We were a group of 8. We had the pizza, fish and chips, nachos- all good and steak sandwich was passable. Service after getting our food and first drinks was non-existent. We all went up to the bar for further drinks and to pay our tabs. Overall this hotel suited our needs. A solid 3 star.

Was a nice stay in a very clean room. The only thing I would point out was that the air conditioner was a little noisy. Great food!

The floor was very dirty. Tv didn’t work. Half used lotions for you to use in the bathroom.

Good hotel for visiting family with small kids. Stayed in 508 condo. The even number condos on the back have a nice view of peace River hills.
