Hotel in zona Praça do Giraldo‎, Évora

Our second stay in the en-suite room and, if possible, even more relaxing than the first time. The staff were superb, attentive and generous and the room was immaculate and peaceful. The breakfast is simple but enough to start the day for us. We went back because we wanted a few days of peace and quiet in a comfortable setting and that is exactly what we got. We said we would stay there again last time - and we have and will do again in the future.

La posizione è perfetta in questa bella città, passeggiata. La materassi è stata la più comoda del nostro soggiorno. Il colazione servito nella vostra stanza è stato scontato e vale la pena. Abbiamo incontrato un problema con la nostra auto di noleggio che Joni ha superato e oltre per aiutarci a risolvere.

Tanto el cuarto, como el personal, como el desayuno, fueron fantásticos. Además, es la primera vez en mi vida que veo en el baño de un alojamiento un sistema de aviso por si se diera el caso de sufrir alguna emergencia , ¡Enhorabuena!

We spent a wonderful seven nights at the Convento in May. We booked directly with the hotel and requested an upper floor room (there are only ground level or first floor rooms in the new part of the accommodation) which we were given. It was quite far from the reception (room 149) but was quite a big room with a balcony looking over the countryside and sun in the afternoon which was fantastic (and pushed up our daily steps quota!). The location of the hotel is perfect for those looking for a peaceful break. Évora is easily reached by taxi (average about 10€) but it's also worth giving the two on site restaurants a try. Be aware that it's best to reserve well in advance and the more informal Italian option wasn't open every night during our stay. The bar also does food but the one night we used this we had to wait a very long time for the food to arrive (not so much of a problem in the wonderful surroundings of the Convento, but still...). This is overall a 5 star property but there were some aspects which we thought required attention. As others have mentioned, you will need to book a time slot for your breakfast. There seemed to be frequent coachloads of mainly American tourists who all took breakfast during the earlier slots so you should bear this in mind. It didn't really bother us but we had to take a slot nearer to 09:00 every day which might be an inconvenience for some. We requested a kettle for our room as well as cups but had to ask three times before they were delivered to us. Towards the end of our stay we were pleasantly surprised to receive a complementary bottle of the house espumante. We really would recommend taking one of the wine tasting sessions and the short guided tour of the Convento. Apart from the fantastic location, the superb grounds and pool plus everything else we have mentioned, the 'fifth star' at this accommodation is definitely the staff who were always smiling and ready to help/offer advice when needed. Abbiamo avuto una bella permanenza in Evora e abbiamo prenotato l'hotel MouraSuits. L'ingresso era molto amichevole e abbiamo potuto anche prendere la nostra stanza più di quanto indicato. L'hotel offre un parcheggio extra, quindi non abbiamo avuto problemi di fermare la nostra auto. Abbiamo avuto una camera superiore per 2 persone con vista sulla piscina. Il bagno è bellissimo dotato di una doccia pioggia. La piscina è stata anche piacevole fredda, ma non troppo fredda. Il colazione era un sogno. Possiamo ordinare il nostro pasto d'uovo senza un premio, ci sono stati diversi succhi freschi, formaggio e taglio di salsa, bagagli, ecc. - Torniamo comunque.

This hotel is amazing! The rooms are spacious and very clean, the restaurant is great, there is an indoor pool, a sauna and a gym and the outside areas are also great. You don’t need to leave the premises. What makes this a five star rating: twice a day the rooms are provided with water. At the end of the day they will bring biscuits by, the restaurant is open all day (great when traveling with kids) - also for room- and pool-service. There are many activities for kids and they provide the cutest little presents for babies by arrival. They just have much attention for detail and really make an effort to make your stay pleasant! Make sure you don’t mind kids, since there are many of them ;)

L'albergo si trova appena fuori le mura della città, in 10 minuti a piedi si raggiunge il centro. In camera sono presenti tutti elettrodomestici di design. C'è a disposizione una macchina Nespresso con capsule e bollitore. Stupendo il bagno e doccia separati, veramente una grande idea! Bella la piscina e il bar sul rooftop. Molto comoda anche la palestra. Colazione a buffet buonissima, omelette preparate al momento e macchina per i waffle, c'è tutto a disposizione. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo
