Premier Inn Epsom Central

The reception staff were amazingly helpful. If you need to visit someone in Epsom hospital for a few days this is the best place to stay. It's within easy walking distance of the town centre and the hospital. As long as you check the car in at reception there is no parking charges which is a bonus.

Hotel is in very poor condition, awaiting renovation according to sign on a post outside in car park Room was clean, bed very good, bathroom a disgrace with bolts where a handle should be on the bath which was dangerous, hooks on bathroom door broken Room set up for one occupant, despite booking for two, one comfortable armchair only, one set of towels, this has happened to us at other Premier Inns Convenient location for our needs

Stayed here a couple of times before but this time it was looking very tired. Our double room (56) was ok but the heater on the wall didn't work so had a portable heater the lead of which only just reached the socket! Bathroom floor was VERY squeaky. The other members of our group had a twin room (49) which smelt of damp, 2 lightbulbs didn't work and the curtain rail was loose. We should've asked for another room but we though the smell might go after an airing but it didn't. The restaurant is apparently under going a refurb which we accepted but the staff seemed very overworked. Breakfast was fine but understaffed Let's hope the hotel gets a refurb too as location is perfect

Booked into an accessible room but front of the building and car park is not great for wheelchairs.The building is quite narrow to navigate. Our door didn't lock from the inside,there was no dispenser for tiolet roll supplied,we were given one towel for 3 people.The curtains had holes as well as the duvet cover,very tatty.

This is the worst premier inn I’ve ever stayed in. Dark, dingy, litter strewn across the gardens and car park. The whole place is in desperate need of make over. The pictures used for the outside must have been taken years ago and the pictures used for the bedrooms aren’t this hotel, they don’t have long windows. The staff are lovely. Hotel was clean enough, the pub where breakfast is served feels unloved. Wouldn’t stay again.

Don’t bother staying here - shabby dirty hotel - no heating - mould in bedroom & disgusting bath plug - shower curtain track falling off wall. Heater in room not working. All communal areas in hoovered Thyme restaurant for breakfast - coffee machine not working - staff not interested
