Airport Guesthouse

Though I had a bit of problem understanding the receptionist when I called (whom I have never seen after I arrived maybe because she hanged up on me and did not want to see me again!), the place was very nice, clean and neat. My clients and I stayed before we went to the airport. The rooms for 3 people are a bit stuffed but I am guessing people do not stay here very long so it is ok. The place being an airport guesthouse has the habit of locking all the general use areas after a certain hour at night and do not open it before a certain hour in the morning. I would expect more flexibility thinking that there are flights after midnight and before morning. They offer a free airport drop and pickup but they left one of my clients without picking after waiting for some time at the airport instead of checking the arrivals -which is not many in Entebbe. So in short, this guesthouse is very close to the airport and that is why we use it: from and to the airport. However they are amazing during the day time but they do not make it easy for the people flying Turkish Airlines which lands and leaves around 5 a.m.

After a short drive from the airport, we were greeted by friendly staff. The hotel is like a little oasis in the middle of the big city but no traffic noise disturbs. The room is functional. We had a large king size bed that was very comfortable. A standing fan is provided for relief from the heat. The shower was good - no issues. Breakfast was tasty and the coffee was excellent. The price was reasonable. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a fantastic place to stay after a late arrival into Entebbe. Friendly welcome at the airport and the guest house. A really pleasant and peaceful location - the room was very nice and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast the next morning.

Revealing anecdote. A nice lady at reception was kind enough to take care of franking and mailing a postcard for me, when I had to leave for the airport. The kind of detail that helps make a trip memorable. Thanks a million lady! P.S.: the postcard has indeed reached its destination.

Very friendly and accommodating. We have stayed here twice now, the 2nd time was a very last minute rushed booking due to a sudden flight change and the Guest House picked us up from the airport and arranged our accommodation very quickly. We were very happy with the room and the breakfast too, the banana pancakes are delicious! All staff are very welcoming and friendly. Definitely would be happy to come back again and highly recommend. Thank you 🙏

Great spot close to the airport for a late night/early flight option after a long drive from Bwindi. Greeted by a very stern list of rules (we were a group of adults) about the rules and regulations of the resort. Felt very regimented, especially regarding buffet payment…nice rooms, nice dinner, ok breakfast but worst in the country during this visit⭐️
