2 Friends Beach Hotel

Perfect location to begin you Uganda adventure. Near the lake, nice pool and lovely staff. Very good breakfast as well. You can choose to eat dinner at the hotel or walk across the road to a quaint restaurant on the lake shore. The room was very comfortable with hot water and many power outlets.

Second time staying at this quaint little hotel and I still loved it! Customer service was excellent. Our room was nice and overlooked the pool. Breakfast was warm and delicious. Absolutely wonderful all around. I wish we could have stayed here longer. The hotel shuttle is a BIG PLUS. Even though it was midnight, we were picked up immediately after grabbing our bags and then driven to the hotel where we were checked in quickly so that we could get some much-needed rest.

Excellent Entebbe stop over hotel. We stayed here for 2 nights prior and 1 night post safari. It is clean, safe and on the lake front. We enjoyed walking along the lake, reading by the pool and found the location to be perfect for calm and quiet. Breakfast was more than adequate and airport transfer was timely and professional. Lake front restaurant owned by the hotel is good and affordable.

Great stay at 2Friends Beach Hotel. The room was spotless, with a view of Lake Victoria. The grounds are lush and lovely. The food and service in the restaurant was excellent (the restaurant was right on Lake Victoria). But it was the staff who made the stay memorable. There were two things we wanted to do in Entebbe (try to see the shoebills in Mabamba swamp and the source of the Nile). Diana arranged everything before we left the USA. When our flight was 3 hours delayed, it was Clare who provided guidance and ensured the taxi we were taking to the source of the Nile was informed. Upon check-in, it was the delightful, funny and smiling Patrick who took care of us. Pamela was our excellent server in the restaurant. The hotel is walking distance to the shopping mall (good food at Cafe Javas and there is a pretty big Carrefour there). It is also walking distance to the botanical garden. Highly recommend.
