Hotel Los Amantes Valle de Guadalupe

There’s not one thing we didn’t liked!! We fall in love with the weather, pools jacuzzi, the beds, the shower, the coffee pot, the snacks even tho we have to paid but it was better that way, best thing ever NO TV kids really enjoyed the s’mores complementary ✌️ we got up early to see the sun rise but never came out instead we saw a beautiful horse, and bunnies we herd rosters bridas the caws What about the breakfast and the wine taste omg this was the bes day ever!! Thank you thank you….

Our experience was made 5 stars by the amazing bell boy- Fernando! He was always there when we needed something, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. He even remembered I wanted to see the bunnies and before we left made sure i got to see them! Our entire group of 15 people could not stop talking about the amazing customer service brought by Fernando and the rest of the staff. The breakfast was absolutely incredible, the hotel was beautiful, the bonfire and smores were a great activity, and we will absolutely visit again.

Amazing service. Everyone was extremely helpful and went out of their way to help us out in all of our needs. We were a group of 8 women and most were very needy lol. Fernando a worker from the hotel was always so helpful and kind. Also Maribel the one in charge of the hotel saved us and found a way for us to have transportation on our stay.

Unique, off the beaten path property. I've never been to a resort quite like it. It was rustic in some ways, but comfort and hospitality were unrivaled. The beds, bedding and temperature controls were perfect. Very hot water in the shower, yay! The daily breakfast they served was made to order and very delicious. Other touches included very good housekeeping, little snacks, mini bar and the hot tub was huge and hot. This is a very cool place to stay in Valle de Guadalupe. We'll be back!

We booked this hotel after visiting their sister property in Oaxaca and were looking forward to eating at the restaurant and terrace they advertised on the website. Unfortunately, unlike the other higher end hotels in the area, this hotel is nearly inaccessible because of the muddy and flooded road that leads to it (they tried to hide this fact and provided no warning even though it appears to be common practice during this season). After arriving, they told us the restaurant was fully closed because the hotel was "low capacity" even though the website advertised it as open. The road is so bad that there is no way to leave after dark. We had to cancel two dinner reservations and had nothing to eat. On top of this, the staff was incompetent and unresponsive. They left us waiting in the lobby for 30 minutes when they said to come to the front desk, and when we asked if we could buy a bottle of wine, they charged us restaurant prices ($50 USD) even though it was available for $20 at the wine store across the street. After explaining our frustrations, they said they would follow up with a free stay and then never did. This was a birthday weekend trip, and despite how beautiful this area is, our experience was nearly ruined by our stay here. Even if the road were accessible, the restaurant were open, and the staff were professional, the rooms are dark, cold, and poorly designed. It's very bad value for money.

This hotel is one of those places that looks better in the photos than in real life. It is very stylish but not high end by any means. We were so excited to stay here 2 nights- low season, for a business/pleasure trip. It’s very cool looking but sits low in the valley and is in a residential street as opposed to out in nature like other places. If this whole property were picked up and moved to another location, it’d be rad. The restaurant and bar are great, people were nice, our server was wonderful for meals. We checked in and were asked to pay the whole stay upfront. And after that I realized we’d been over charged. So after asking about that and showing them that on other sites the price was much less, they said they’d look into it, but of course nothing happened- they already had my money. I booked directly and the site said: hurry, 3 left! For the junior suite. We were the only guests in the entire place. Perhaps because of heavy rain? But drainage and water system seemed off and smelled really bad. Throughout the stay i hoped they’d offer something for us, but at checkout, i got the same- we’ll ask management. The suite costs more but the other rooms are laid out exactly the same way, just with a bit less space at the foot of the bed. At least with the single container style rooms you don’t share walls. You can hear everything. Totally acceptable place- but certainly not for the price we paid: $270 per night. When it says El Cielo is similar!? It is not - it is WAY more luxe. So shop around and only stay here if it’s cheap.

We were there to celebrate a b-day and Iben and Maribel help us with everything definitely we will go back to that place. We had a security issue but it was resolved.We love the Valley thank you guys.

This place is dirty. They haven’t done a deep cleaning to those rooms I would guess since it opened. The soups in bathroom were not new, towels were dirty and sheets were so dirty and stained. I don’t think they had changed them from previous guests. The toilet was disgusting like they hadn’t use soup on that thing ever. I couldn’t believe it! It looked like this place was opened 20 years ago. Maintenance certainly is not doing their job. I get the reclining concept, but for what they charged $600 for 2 nights ? They need to at least keep in clean and well maintained. Rooms are cold, I don’t know who designed this place but it’s not functional at all, for instance the way the doors open is soo unsafe and the cheap aluminum containers they used for sinks are huge and allow for water to not drain properly which is gross. The joke that pass as pool looks like it has never been drained. It’s stained! It’s all bad. The pretend to be a mezcal producer, but basically they just buy mezcal from an actual producer in Oaxaca. They charged you upfront full amount at checking so they can keep your money even if you have complaints which they know you will have . There is no room for changes or fixing their mistakes. All you get is we will talk to management or that’s how it is here. Do not waste your money.

Just 10 pictures, I actually had 3 IG posts - the property, the view and the food! The property is situated between my favorite wineries Adobe and Casta with views of the mountains and set off the main road with plenty of free parking onsite, breakfast and coffee are included and the suites are comfortable and clean with rustic farm touches - tin tub sinks, small pipes as hooks, reclaimed wood and tiles throughout. The beds are comfortable, the shower easy to use, the sounds of the surrounding critters - goats, sheep, roosters, song birds - comforting. A lot of jack rabbits, hummingbirds and a very friendly cat, imagine an idyllic farm without the smell. There is also a spa, a family size fire pit and mezcal tasting onsite however the Yao is definitely the cocktail worth having - every day! The food was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. The aguachile and deconstructed pie de limon were my absolute favorites and the service impeccable. The staff is very attentive and accommodating and if needed they have their scripts on translate and can play them if communication comes to a halt so there are no misunderstandings or disappointments. We were a party of six and felt very comfortable and as if we were the only people there at all times although we saw evidence to the contrary. It was a very pleasant stay, convenient and relaxing after a day of traveling, exploring and wine tasting beyond Adobe to Casta.
