I have dreamt at staying at villa honegg for many years. It is not an inexpensive hotel so I really had to save up to get an opportunity to come here. Finally, I had the chance to come with 2 friends and was so excited. What I will say is that I have mixed reviews. Pros Beautiful location with spectacular views. It really is a pinch me moment overlooking the lake and the mountains, even on a cloudy day They were kind enough to let us check in an hour early and check out an hour late… more on this later. The included breakfast was really lovely. A lot of variety and you can fill yourself up. Plus it is available until 2pm They had a cinema that was so lovely to watch Netflix in. We had a great time watching a couple episodes of The Witcher Service was very good— we felt well taken care of and staff was very attentive. It wasn’t until check out that we hit a little bump Cons My biggest complaint is that they are not clear about the usage times of the spa. We were allowed in at 2pm on check in day but did not stipulate that we were not allowed back once we checked out. Nowhere on the website, not mentioned upon checkin, not mentioned on the tour of the facilities, not mentioned when asking for a late checkout. In fact, on the tour of the facilities, we were told breakfast was available for hotel guest until 2pm, so we assumed spa use would be the same. When we were checking out, we were planning to go for an hour before heading back in town, we were declined and everyone was shocked that we were shocked. We have all stayed at small boutique hotels before and we have never been declined use of the facilities once checked out. Marcel in management tried to explain but said we shouldn’t have made this assumption, which put a sour taste in our mouth. If breakfast is being served 2 hours post-check out, it is odd to assume the spa rules are completely different. Best to be clear. We had to change out of our bathing suits and move our taxi up, which isn’t a big deal but still a bit disappointing I’m going to be honest… you are paying for the location/spa/view vs the actual hotel rooms. For the price, we were pretty underwhelmed with the room. It felt a little dated (wasn’t expecting modern but it just felt a little worn). Certainly for the price, I was expecting a bit more space and a bit fancier of a room. But it was still decent. The balcony, on the other hand, had a spectacular view and really lovely furniture. If ordering a taxi, best to arrange yourself. We ubered from Lucerne for about 60 CHF. We had the hotel call us a taxi and we were charged 125 CHF to go back to the exact same destination. Finally, there was an uncontrollable amount of flies everywhere in the hotel. It’s hot, it’s summer, I totally get it. But it was getting to the point that it was uncomfortable. The hotel is really nice, clean, cozy and confortable. I stayed for 1 night and didn't have a meal at the restaurant but it also seemed very good. The breakfast was great, better than in many 4 star hotels and the areas of the hotel are enjoyable too. The location is less than 10min of Lucerne by car and there are many restaurants around. We had a car with us and parked for free just in front of the hotel. If we return to Lucerne we would stay in Felmis again for sure.

La roccia è circa otto minuti, quindi il trasporto è molto conveniente! 🏠 Impianto ambientale: L'hotel è più tradizionale, non quello stile hotel stellare, fornisce colazione, ha un proprio ristorante, la stanza non è grande, in parte ha una piazza, verso il lago Lucien, pulita e igienica. ✅ Atteggiamento del servizio: Il capo ha aiutato il bagaglio personalmente 🧳, grazie; La sorella della reception è super bella, controlla molto bene, e dà il manuale di gioco di Rigi e ha fatto una presentazione dettagliata. Alcuni percorsi di salire sulla montagna sono molto dettagliati per quanto tempo. Quando vado, vedo i miei orecchini sembrano 🥹 buon umore per un giorno!

In viaggio di lavoro con un collega abbiamo scelto questo Hotel per un soggiorno di 2 giorni. E' stata la scelta più giusta che potessimo fare. Albergo in bellissima posizione sul lago dei Quattro Cantoni, a pochi chilometri da Lucerna. Hotel silenzioso, pulito, curato all'interno e all'esterno. Personale gentile e professionale, da quello della reception a quello della sala colazioni. Molto utile la fermata del bus proprio accanto all'albergo, che collega velocemente e gratuitamente col centro di Lucerna. Da consigliare assolutamente.

The hotel is a small elegant hotel with a warm welcoming entry. My first floor room faced the Lake with a lovely private patio and was nicely equipped. The bed was large and very comfortable. Most impressive was the very expansive bathroom with the latest shower equipment and amenities. I had breakfast and a dinner there and the service was impeccable and gracious. I look forward to returning!

Beautiful, clean, fresh smell of wood in the room. The shower was excellent. The entire facility is beautiful and clean with great service on top of a mountain in Switzerland. The funicular that brings you up to the lodge is so cool with the best views. There is a parking lot at the bottom of the mountain at the funicalar entrance for 14 francs/day. The lodge is right next to the funicular. The breakfast buffet is really good quality extra charge. Beautiful hiking trails. Everything is perfect at this lodge. Highly recommend.
