Ottimo ristorante con charme e una bella terrazza esterna che dá sulla zona pedonale di Engelberg. Ottima cucina, ben fatta e originale. Ottimi consigli per il vino, con scoperte di prodotti assolutamente non scontati. Ottimo il servizio, molto attento e di qualità.

We loved everything about this guest house! Charming, unique rooms with beautiful Swiss chalet-style woodwork, a sweet little balcony with view of snow-capped mountains, and a very comfy bed! The building has a well-stocked clean, communal kitchen, and friendly attentive staff. The "self-service" aspect is not a problem, everything worked seamlessly through the app. Lots of nice touches like extra fridge space for each room by the kitchen, and an "honesty"-based self-service espresso machine with treats always available. Easy access and secure ski equipment and luggage storage rooms. Great location also just steps from the (small) downtown area. The restaurant was fantastic too! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is an expensive youth hostel! No front desk, no breakfast. Management is confrontational and offensive.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a 4 day trip to Engelberg and we loved it! You can manage everything on the application that makes everything easy to use/find. You can even chat with the staff on the app for anything you might need (e.g.. adaptors, and they were very quick to answer!). The common kitchen area was very spacious and very nice! You can use all the equipment to cook and you also get a private box in the fridge. There is a little lounge with a self playing piano that was also very chill. The staff are very nice as well. There’s also a great storage area for your ski equipment! By far a great experience from start to finish. Nothing negative to say.

We stayed here for one weekend and found the place to be incredibly serene and convenient. Upon arrival we were greeted by a splendidly gracious host Alexander, he outlined the procedures and made us feel right at home. It was a short stay but every part of our experience was pleasant and positively memorable!

The place is straight out of a Hallmark movie! The host was so kind and checked on us daily. The room was adorable with a balcony overlooking the street. There’s a Tea Room a few steps across the street with wonderful coffee and pastries. I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay here.

You must stay here when visiting Engelberg. The hotel is great and the staff is even better! I’ve never felt so welcomed at a hotel in my entire life. They take the time to show you around the property prior to checking in and they truly make you feel like you’re a member of their family. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. They have a great common kitchen as well for those who want to stay in and cook. We could not have had a better stay! Thank you Mladan, Frank and team for your hospitality!!!

I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. My room was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after a long day of exploring the area. Furthermore, the hotel's attention to detail and commi**ent to cleanliness and safety during these challenging times were commendable. I felt completely at ease throughout my stay. The exceptional service, great accommodations, delicious dining, and prime location all combined to make it a memorable stay. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a top-notch hospitality experience. I can't wait for my next visit!
