Excellent place to stay we even extended our stay after checking out. Lol. We love it here. VERY clean, quiet, can't hear traffic from the I-10 and most staff kind and friendly. However, no matter how hard I tried, the lady at the front desk in the morning on Friday/Saturday was not friendly at all and she acted like she didn't want to be there. Maybe the owner/manager as she seem to do as she wished and didn't care how she treated her customers. That is okay because everyone else that worked at the front desk was friendly and very professional the way people should be working at a hotel front desk. The hotel was accomodating and met our special request. We checked out on Thursday and as we were driving away, about 30 minutes later we decided that we weren't quite ready to move on with our trip and would like to stay another two nights. Called hotel and they put us back in our room another two nights. Price is worth the stay and quality of hotel.

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel più volte, la mia recente visita era un'eccezione alla regola di eccellente. siamo arrivati nella nostra stanza e un orribile odore di fogna ci ha colpito anche le mie figlie non volevano andare in camera. Ho chiamato i servizi degli ospiti e hanno avuto un valet che ha spostato le nostre camere in circa 5 minuti e anche aggiornato in una migliore stanza. A parte il fatto che le nostre altre soggiorni sono sempre piacevoli e ora so se qualcosa va male, andranno oltre e oltre per risolverlo!Abbiamo visitato anche i ristoranti e sono un buon posto per mangiare e la posizione per noi è 100% il migliore. I dipendenti sono sempre amici e utili.

The hotel is slowly being renovated so we had a really fresh room; very clean and smart. The breakfast was great with a range of items, including some healthy options (oatmeal, fresh-ish bagels). The lobby is clean and spacious. The location is great: walkable to downtown bars and to the border crossing. The first room overlooked the expressway which is incredibly noisy, so we asked for a replacement and got a lovely room overlooking the city.

We had lunch at Mamacitas and it was delicious. We tried the nachos, churro waffles, horchata, and huevos rancheros and loved all of it! Omar and Ashley were attentive and friendly, and service was quick. Definitely will visit Mamacitas again.

My business partner arrived the day prior to my visit and had to be “walked” to a neighboring hotel because Aloft oversold. Although it was a nicer hotel than Aloft, sometimes sticking to the planned agenda is better. I checked in the following day and was upgraded to Presidential Suite. A very nice room with great views. The shower had poor pressure and almost stopped flowing on more than one occasion in my 5min journey. There is mold and mildew in the caulking in the shower and around the windows… this room needs a deep clean. Additionally in the shower, the tile on the floor is extremely slippery and an anti-slip pad should be provided before someone gets injured and the hotel sued. Lastly, I was charged for parking when I did not have a vehicle… I was not asked at checkin, which is an annoyance when leaving as I must stop and wait in line to rectify my bill before leaving g for my business meeting… putting me at risk of being tardy. I hope this review serves Aloft El Paso downtown to strive for better experiences for its patrons.

More modern Fairfield property. No acknowledgment of being a Platinum member until I mentioned if there was any upgrade available (there wasn’t), then received two bottles of free water and one muesli bar. Breakfast good. Pool lovely as heated unlike many other Marriott properties. Object to paying $10 US per day parking especially as a Platinum (now Titanium) when you’re in suburbia and there are plenty of parks. Reception asked if we had a car and I said ‘yes’ but they did not ask for registration or give me pass for dashboard. What if I had said ‘no I don’t have a car’? Would have likely been a freebie then.Would have queried parking charge on checking out but no one at front desk. First Marriott property where no USB charging ports by bed or in clock. One port in room hardly sufficient for two people with multiple devices. Wifi poor, kept dropping out.
