Destiny Scotland - St Andrew Square Apartments

環境很好，設施用具都很全，就是沒有一次性用品，牙膏牙刷梳子需要自己帶，酒店存包處離酒店有點遠，管理也比較鬆散。總體來説入住感覺很舒適，重要的是位置真的很好，離主要景點都不遠

My husband and I were booked in for 2 nights as my son was being married in Edinburgh. We were in room no 7 . I have absolutely no complaints about the apartment as it was clean, well furnished and the bed extremely comfortable. The first night I could not sleep due to the white noise coming from the back of the building. The generator units at the back belong to KFC and McDonalds and they never stop humming. A nightmare. They have obviously tried to lower the noise by encasing every window in the apartment with thick plastic sheeting and screwing it down so the windows cannot open. Fire hazard. I would return again if the noise was dealt with as the apartments are very central. I slept on night two because i was exhausted. This apartment would benefit from quad triple glazing. Book at your peril.

The apartment is in a good location close to the shops, bars, restaurants, travel links and tourist attractions so you never need to travel far. The room was clean and had all the needed amenities for our weekend there. It was a decent price for the apartment as well

This accommodation is very central . Just across from the station and close to all sights of Edinburgh. Perfect location Clean , well equipped , comfortable , warm . Everything you need for a stay in Edinburgh. It is located above Macdonald’s but we were in room 2 at the back of the building so didn’t bother us . My only criticism would be the 7 am bin collection below our room which is noisy and happened two days out of three . Not sure how that could be improved though .

My partner and I spent 3 nights at Flat number 2 at the St Andrews Square apartment. Overall we had an enjoyable trip and the apartment was to the expected standard. Upon arrival, the apartment is spacious and is full of utilities including a kitchen (no microwave) living room area, sizeable bathroom and suitable space for clothes storage. The apartment was very clean and tidy and appeared in good and modern condition. In the bathroom, there are large bottles of complimentary body wash, shampoo and conditioner which smell lovely. The bed is also very comfy and sizeable for two. In terms of location, it is excellent overall, with it being extremely central and close to all attractions, bars and the train station. You can get to anywhere you need to go in the city within a 20 minute walk from the apartment. The main gripe of the apartment was its location above a KFC and adjacent to a McDonald’s. This became problematic in the early hours of the morning when the staff would throw empty bottles and glasses into the bins at the rear of the apartments which was very loud and prevented sleep. I am a rather deep sleeper and the noise was enough to keep me awake significantly, even with the windows completely shut. As a result, this somewhat lowered the quality of the overall experience. In summary, this is a good and clean apartment at a very good price, but not without its faults.

Apartment is very close to Waverley train station. Clean and good amenities but #11 had no microwave, very annoying. There was minor noise from the hvac system overnight. It wasn’t too bad though in our room. There are many stairs before you get to the lift.

We stayed in a Destiny apartment studio at 9 Saint Andrews Street for 2 nights to attend the Military Tattoo The studio we stayed in should not be available for rent. It is situated behind a KFC and McDonald’s and right next to their extraction fans. The noise from these was like torture particularly at night with sleep almost impossible. We were relieved to move on after 2 nights.

We read reviews that said it was above a kfc and McDonald’s after booking, I think that knowing this beforehand would have put me off booking. There was a hum from the air conditioning units at night but it wasn’t too loud as the windows are nice and thick, this meant however that they couldn’t be opened. Which wasn’t great when the apartment got hot. There was also a feint smell of it in the air. We stayed on the third floor at the back of the building. Great location and easy to find. Half price parking was welcomed aswell.

The apartments are in a perfect location, close to Waverley Station and Princes Street. They are clean and modern with all the facilities you need in the kitchen. Towels, hairdryer, Iron and bathroom toiletries are included. Not suitable if you have mobility issues as there are quite a lot of stairs before you get to the lift. Other than the they are great and would definitely stay there again.
