Prenotazione last minute a una buona tariffa notturna. All'arrivo abbiamo scoperto che ci avevano offerto un upgrade e ci avevano dato una piacevole camera con vista sul palco dell'orchestra e vista diretta sul Canale della Manica. La stanza era calda e accogliente; in effetti, troppo accogliente quando il sole era alto. Anche se le finestre non si aprivano, nella stanza c'era un ventilatore nel caso fosse diventato troppo caldo. L'ascensore ha una mente propria che annuncia il piano sbagliato, ma subito dopo quello giusto! Oh, e il passaggio dal piano terra al seminterrato è un po' brutale. Nel complesso è stato un buon soggiorno in una buona posizione, a soli dieci minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria e da molti posti dove mangiare.

I got a lovely room upgraade from single to double. Very spacious, shower was temperamental. Breakfast excellenta, small but perfectly formed and tasted delicious. Will come back.

Me and my daughter stayed at this hotel for a weekend get away...The hotel is on seafront and pleasant....but what made it was 100% the staff...so friendly so helpful...nothing is a problem...bearing in mind...its a hotel not a bnb...but yet...they provide a complementary breakfast bag...the night receptionist...was such a lovely friendly guy....but so was all staff. We shall definitely return....

Absolutely loved our stay at the View Hotel, all staff were very polite and welcoming. Our room was lovely and the view was just perfect. This was an impromptu stay, with the scenery and sound of the waves I really did not want to leave. The hotel was clean and we had everything we needed in the room. The bed was very comfortable and we had a fab night sleep. We will absolutely be back to stay here with our children when we next come down to visit out family.

I recently stayed at Pearl & Pebbles Eastbourne in Eastbourne for one night and overall, it was a pleasant experience. Firstly, I must commend the lovely staff, although our interactions were minimal, their warmth and hospitality were evident. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, including the bathroom which was also fresh and tidy. However, my room was located right in front of the stairs on the second floor, which resulted in considerable noise disturbance until late at night, affecting my sleep quality. On a brighter note, the bed was comfortable, and the presence of a desk and chair was a practical addition, making it easier for me to catch up on some work. I particularly enjoyed the bathroom with its window, perfect for those who, like me, enjoy showering with a breeze of fresh air. Despite the compact size of the room, it was sufficient for a one-night stay. Moreover, having a kettle, coffee, and tea in the room was a delightful bonus, adding to the comfort and convenience of the stay. However, it was disappointing to find that the room lacked a safe, which would have added an extra layer of security for my belongings. In summary, while my stay at Pearl & Pebbles Eastbourne had its drawbacks, including noise issues and the absence of a safe, the cleanliness, comfort of the bed, practical amenities, and the friendly staff made it a generally positive experience for my short stay in Eastbourne.

Non sarebbe rimasto! L'hotel è in una posizione fantastica, ma è incredibilmente in giù. Quando siamo arrivati la nostra camera era davvero sporca e polvere. Il letto aveva molti marchi in tutto e molti capelli, non credo che le foglie fossero state cambiate prima che arrivassimo. Il bagno era disgustoso, il sedile del bagno aveva i capelli in esso e l’interno della vasca del bagno era davvero bruno. Il bacino era pieno di capelli lunghi e molte sporche, e ci erano segni e sporche in tutto il muro, il telaio e le tavole laterali. Il nostro bacino era anche bloccato, anche solo correndo il tappo per lavare le mani ha fatto riempire l’intero bacino e l’acqua non sarebbe andata indietro. I mugs forniti nella stanza per il tè e il caffè erano sporchi, avevano marca e capelli in essi e erano veramente polverosi e non ci era fornito un cuscino per stimolare le bevande calde. Il colazione non era buono, era solo cereali e tosta e una selezione molto piccola di pasticceria (siamo andati a colazione alle 9:30 e non ci sono croissants lasciati e solo pochi mini dolor au chocolate). L'unica cosa buona è che l'hotel offre un permesso di parcheggio per parcheggiare sul lato opposto e vicino all'hotel, in modo che non si deve preoccupare di pagare il parcheggio.

We recently stayed at this beautiful historic hotel on Eastbourne’s stunning seafront. I cannot fault the quality of our stay. The hotel has been beautifully refurbished and is an oasis of peace and calm. The dining experience is exquisite and the delicious breakfasts are hearty and plentiful. The staff go out of their way to help and the rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. The views out to see are breathtaking. We’ve stayed in several hotels in Eastbourne but this one is our absolute favourite by far. We will be returning again and again. Thank you to all the lovely staff for our fantastic weekend.

I attended a course at the Boship this week and have been many times before. I am always blown away by how wonderful the staff and management are; nothing is too much trouble. Staff are friendly, caring and hard working. The food is great, tasty and well presented. The rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. And the grounds are plentiful, with nice scenery such as the ponds with water features. I wouldn't want the course I attended to be located anywhere else!
