First impressions was ok, the building is old and didn't look well maintained. lady at reception was very helpful.
Carpet had stains, kitchen taps, bench and cupboards were old and in poor condition.
Was sitting on couch when noticed a mouse on the kitchen floor, it scurried up into the corner cupboard. Picture shows where this was.
Very noisy overnight and curtains didn't block out the street light.
Would not stay here again.

Apar**ent is clean . Issue with parking access . Had trouble getting into carpark as door access card not working 🙁

We chose this hotel because of the price and the excellent reviews. It is close to medical facilities and there is plenty of choice for places to eat. The room we had was a little old but clean, and there was plenty of space .... and the bed was comfortable! There was a little traffic noise at night and in the morning, but not a problem as the hotel is on a side street between two major roads. Everything worked, from kitchen appliances to lights. Parking $18 p/n. Bring your own bathroom requisites as they are not supplied. Service from staff was excellent: we appreciated the phone call to explain late arrival arrangements and the friendly face behind the counter the next day.

lovely quiet area, thought for money value we would have been supplied with more than 1 soap , 1 small milk and no shampoo or conditioner, for 3 adult guests, in the delux apar**ent.

We had a short stay at the property to make it easier to access the St. Vincents Private hospital. Reception staff were attentive and rooms were clean.

Property does need updating and the cleanliness was a bit ordinary. Staff at reception were very nice.? The fact that my dogs could be there was a bonus.

The location is excellent. It was a bit difficult with a baby and pram and STUFF to be on the top floor with no lift, but aside from that the Birches staff were helpful and accommodating and it's so easy to get everywhere from there!

Have stayed here twice. Great value for money. Clean, spacious apar**ent, kitchen, lounge and bathroom. Beautiful big windows! On site parking right at the door and an outdoor area with bbq. The staff are so lovely and accomodating-early checks ins, late check outs and even storing my items safely that I accidentally left behind.

Stayed here due to its proximity to the MCG and great location for MCG access. Room is tired, small bathroom, stayed one night was ok for a shower and bed.
