La signora del desk front era brutta e poco professionale, il mio detective di fumo cominciò a fare il giro e mi sentiva bene a sentirlo ogni minuto di ogni ora tutta la notte. La sua unica risposta era che non c'era personale di manutenzione disponibile. Dopo aver spiegato che questo è un problema di sicurezza per me e la mia famiglia, è riuscita a ottenere manutenzione lì. Il rilevatore di fumo non aveva solo bisogno di batterie. Era così vecchio che doveva essere sostituito, che la manutenzione ha fatto. Un'altra questione aggravante è la chiave della mia carta funzionava a volte e poi dovrei tornare al desktop frontale e riprendere. Dopo circa cinque volte ho fatto. Anche il digitale ha smesso di funzionare in un punto.

And then we discovered driving into the hotel the sign was missing, apparently the wind had blown it away and it had not been replaced. Nice looking room however when we pull down the sheets we could find bodily fluid on the bottom sheet. We had already noticed that the room had not been fully prepped there were no towels or Kleenex or soap or shampoo. The check-in person was gracious in providing these items. The next morning breakfast contained no protein none. Breakfast had a waffle and pastry and bread but nothing to put on the bread no butter no jelly no peanut butter. If choice hotels intends to stay in business they need to figure out what their standards are and arrange to enforce the standards. The only reason I am loyal to a particular flag is that it has standards that need my expectations. This property clearly does not meet my expectations nor will it need yours ... Give it a pass

The Hotel Indigo has a great location in downtown Baton Rouge. It's within walking distance of pretty much everything to do and see, including museums, the convention center, bars/restaurants, and office buildings. While IHG's Hotel Indigo brand is supposed to be an upper-upscale full-service, boutique-inspired brand, the Hotel Indigo in Baton Rouge felt more like a generic Holiday Inn Express or Fairfield Inn. No doorman or bellman. No offer of assistance with luggage. No newspapers. Bar doesn't open until 4pm, which means you can't get a drink until then. There's no all-day F&B nor is there a pantry or gift shop selling non-alcoholic drinks and snacks. So I couldn't even get a bottle of Diet Coke. The restaurant wasn't open for dinner when I stayed because the hotel lost its kitchen staff or staff members. At breakfast, the restaurant was very basic. There's no real table service. The breakfast menu consists of three or four egg options with all orders placed at the counter. No coffee refills and the orange juice is sugary orange juice from a mini-bottle. No oatmeal, no fresh berries and fruit, no yogurt, etc. There were some breakfast pastries at the counter but they looked old.  The atmosphere and food quality at Starbucks or McDonald's is better. The public spaces and guest rooms were very old and tired with extensive wear-and-tear. At the minimum, carpet in the hallways needs replacement as does some of the furniture in guest rooms. There are no USB outlets in the room. Only two or three accessible electrical outlets to charge assorted devices. That's just not acceptable in the year 2022. The clock-radio had iPod/iPhone docking capability ... maybe 10 or 12 years ago. We're talking like an iPhone 3 technology. No water was provided in the room. The mini-fridge and microwave were just haphazardly placed on the floor against a wall. The air conditioning unit was horrible. If you turned it on, the room was freezing even with the temperature set at 68 or 70 degrees. It never seemed to go on auto and stop running. I had to shut it off and sleep in a room that was about 73-74 degrees. I was woken up at several points during the night by what felt like earthquakes. I assume it was the elevator behind my room. Despite requesting a room away from the elevator, I was placed in a room right next to the elevator. The bathroom was dirty. Mold or mildew throughout shower. Old tiles that needed regrouting. Hair on face towels and throughout the floor of the walk-in shower. Everything just looked old and outdated. More like a dorm or locker room bathroom than an upscale boutique hotel brand. No mouthwash or other toiletries in the room. No bathrobe or slippers. The gym was well-equipped but, like everything else, was outdated. The equipment was a couple generations outdated. The general manager was apologetic and compensated me with a significant number of IHG points. While that was gracious of him, the fact remains that the hotel is

Ha detto che non poteva fare nulla perché ho prenotato attraverso un terzo ma avrebbe dovuto chiamarmi il manager. Sono un proprietario di Hilto e mi vergogno di poter prenotare una stanza più conveniente attraverso il viaggio di quanto possa Hilton

Mi sono divertito! All'arrivo il personale era gentile e prontamente disponibile per qualsiasi aiuto di cui avevamo bisogno. La camera era perfettamente pulita e il nostro soggiorno è stato tranquillo e pacifico. Ma a causa del COVID 19 non c'era la colazione gratuita, la palestra e la piscina erano chiuse, e anche a causa dei due uragani Marco e Laura il nostro viaggio è stato interrotto perché la Croce Rossa aveva bisogno delle camere. Tuttavia, a parte tutto ciò, mi è piaciuto molto il mio soggiorno in questo hotel e lo consiglierei sicuramente!

Tra i 4 hotel che abbiamo soggiornato a Coast to Coast, questo è arrivato in #2. Fino a oggi, grande tasso, perso colazione perché doveva essere sulla strada prima che cominciasse. Il letto era un tad più morbido del #1. Ma ancora buona notte di sonno. Il numero 1 è stato un grande, ma per la differenza di prezzo, io resterei qui, anche il personale amichevole.
