Leggere altre recensioni ci porta sicuramente a una decisione di cui ci pentiamo, quindi sento di dover dare il quadro reale di questo hotel. Cominciamo dagli aspetti positivi: il personale della reception è gentile. Inoltre, la qualità dell'arredamento della camera è elevata: il letto è molto comodo e c'era una grande TV a schermo largo. L'hotel è elegante e le camere uniche. Le pulizie sono di buon livello. Wi-Fi affidabile. C'è una cameriera eccellente e cordiale a colazione. Sfortunatamente, questi aspetti positivi sono di gran lunga compensati da quelli negativi. Il principale è il livello di rumore assolutamente incredibile. Il ristorante al piano terra trasmette musica a tutto volume tutto il giorno e tutta la sera. Sono presenti altoparlanti esterni montati sulle pareti esterne delle stanze e sono chiaramente udibili nelle stanze. Nel fine settimana hanno aggiunto un amplificatore totalmente inutile a questo rumore ed è diventato assolutamente insopportabile. I bassi potevano essere sentiti attraverso le assi del pavimento. Semplicemente non ci sono stanze tranquille qui... entrambi i lati dell'hotel sono soggetti a questo rumore a causa del "giardino" del ristorante. Una sera la musica dal vivo è stata diffusa in strada dal ristorante dell'hotel fino alle 23:10. Un'altra era musica da ballo fino alla stessa ora e abbiamo dovuto chiamare la reception. È semplicemente incredibile che un hotel con investimenti significativi nella qualità delle camere prenda la decisione di disturbare gli ospiti in questo modo. Rilassarsi nel pomeriggio è impossibile, dormire anche prima delle 23.00. Se cercate relax, per favore non selezionate questo hotel. In realtà siamo partiti una notte e siamo andati in un'alternativa perché era così insopportabile. Ci sono anche altri piccoli fastidi che influiscono sulla qualità generale. L'accesso o l'uscita dal parcheggio è possibile solo facendo intervenire un addetto munito di pinze e altri attrezzi per l'apertura del cancello. La colazione non è eccezionale: scelta à la carte che lascia molto a desiderare. In effetti, ogni mattina iniziavamo a mangiare in un bar vicino (Cafe Kursaal). La doccia riempie d'acqua l'intero bagno. La camera con balcone non ha veramente un balcone (è circa mezzo metro quadrato, non abbastanza grande nemmeno per stare in piedi). Vendere questo balcone come upgrade di camera è una delusione. Tutti questi problemi minori potrebbero essere trascurati. Il livello di rumore, tuttavia, è semplicemente inaccettabile. Fatevi un favore e scegliete altrove. Vorremmo averlo fatto.

Terribly hot place with staff who don’t care. This hotel looks great from the outside however when you look under the surface it has cracks beyond. We checked in and the receptionist was slight cold but we managed to check in. We did see the room which was hot and left the key in the room in error which in fact should have cooled down the room by the time we got back but didn’t. At 9.30pm we called reception to get a fan and was told it is impossible. And the room was fine according to a man who came up with the receptionist. Apparently the air con worked fine and it was not crap as I had said so we must have complained for no reason. Nice hotel congratulations to Donald in the restaurant who must be the best member of staff here as he was brilliant. However I am not impressed from there on.

My friend and I stayed here in October The weather was in the mid 20's, which was a lovely temperature. The hotel is very charming and I absolutely loved its character. From arrival to check out, all of the staff were just wonderful, this also extends to their restaurant, I can not say enough how great the staff are. When my friend took ill, they were fantastic and helped us at ease extend our booking. They showed kindness and sympathy. The hotel is in a great location, and you and you can walk to the amphitheatre, cafes, and bars from it. They also arranged for us to visit their sister hotel for a beach day (which is a stunning hotel) The taxi ride was about 25 minutes, and it was worth it, to speed time chilling on a lovely beach. I am vegan, and the staff were helpful in helping me modify dishes to make vegan. The hotel is in a very central location, which means you can hear the activity outside. However, we soon got used to this (we may have enjoyed cocktails), and it didn't bother us. If you are a light sleeper, then I would suggest, perhaps, ear plugs. I would recommend this hotel for its character, locating and just wonderful staff.
