The hotel is beautiful and its location is very convenient because it’s walking distance to the beach, restaurants and entertainment. I mostly enjoyed the breakfast buffet. I kept going back for me. Great service.

The hotel is well located, with easy access to the beach. Unfortunately the room itself was very small, especially for the price being charged. Breakfast was also limited. Service at the hotel was good though. Good food available 24/7 via room service. Had an amazing mutton bunny at 1am that really hit the spot!!!

A good hotel to stay when in Durban There is ****** at the hotel and with alot of food outlets. Just next to the beach and good for a stroll

Lovely place to stay in Durban with lots of restaurants and the ****** nearby.

Service was awesome. Room was clean and neat however the toilet and shower area was just a little too small and not a lot of privacy.

Great place, amazing breakfast selection and they have a great and relaxing spa. We had the beach view. Makes it so much better.

Very beautiful hotel! Rooms are beautifully decorated with good service. The restaurant downstairs offers great Indian cuisine! The hotel is perfectly positioned, giving direct access to the promenade, beach, and ******. Wonderful experience

I booked this hotel because i got a good deal online. Fortunately , i was staying there because during my stay Durban had storm-like weather, with heavy rains and a cold front. I was happy to be in resort with food court & entertainment indoors.

The lowest ranking is given solely due to the design of the room we had which should never have been given to a couple. The hotel is modern, secure, well located and there are lots of restaurants available. The room we were given, 611, was by far the smallest we had at any of the ten hotels we stayed in during our holiday in South Africa. However, the worst feature was the fact that the toilet, washbasin and shower were integral to the bedroom, see photos. Even though the toilet and shower were surrounded by opaque glass you could still see a person inside. This was particularly the case when the lights were on. Obviously there were gaps so that the doors could be opened and closed. This meant that you could see and hear everything the person was doing. Even worse the light switches turned all the room lights on and off at once. Therefore if you needed to get up during the night you had to turn all the lights on, thereby waking your partner up so that they could "enjoy" the experience of you using the toilet! The room would be fine for single occupancy, which judging from there being only one glass is how it is normally used. However, why anyone should think such a room is suitable for two is incomprehensible to me. On our second evening we were offered a different room but we had to leave early the next day so did not take up the offer. So rooms which are not like what I have described are available if you decide to stay here.

The room was excellent, though the fold up bed was crap. Good Service from the Night Shift team. Sphere, excellent service. Breakfast team excellent. The lady making the omelets was great and listened to my son's requirements. Thank you for great service.

Very friendly and helpful staff, and a great venue. We will definitely go back there again. Having the Barnyard Theatre so close is a big plus too! We had a sea-facing room and had a magnificent view of the sunrise. A highly recommended venue.

Always a pleasure to come to Suncoast Towers with their smiling & friendly staff who are there to see to your every need. A special mention must be given to Palvi at customer relations whose infectious positive energy and enthusiasm is one to be admired as she listens to the needs and wants by all family members wether you are 5 or 80 years old, shes a delight! And another awesome team member is Dumasani at the switchboard, he is ever ready to assist with all your needs. What an Amazing Professional Team!
