Hotel in zona Giba Gorge Mountain Bike Park, Durban

I have stayed at Albion Manor before, Jean and Peter are such wonderful hosts. They always go out of their way to make our stay extra special. The rooms are spacious and clean, The breakfast is an absolute treat! I will definitely be staying there again on my next trip to Durban.

We had a good time at Madeline Grove Bed & Breakfast, very nice and clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. It's only a short and safe walk to Florida Road where you have so many options with restaurants and Take-aways. The only thing that was a bit tricky was the shower: either very hot or very cold, nothing in between. But not much of a problem.

Mia moglie e io abbiamo soggiornato all'Hotel Royal per tutta la notte, nel marzo 2022, e abbiamo usato un ascensore per entrare nella nostra stanza, e abbiamo notato un grande cazzo morto che si trovava all'ingresso di uno dei tre ascensori. Il tappeto di entrata della nostra stanza era vago, e gli altri tappeti e le sedie semplici erano sbarrati, le tende non erano irraggiungibili, le finestre erano smeralde, e il bagno aveva una buona parte di forma intorno alla parte superiore del bacino. Il frigo era completamente vuoto e dopo il nostro viaggio all'hotel ci sforzavamo, ma non c'era alcuna bottiglia d'acqua nel frigo. Ci lamentammo al divano, e poi uno dei dipendenti ci portò due piccoli flaconi d’acqua, ci ha caricato venticinque Rand per una piccola bottiglia. Le lampade laterali erano strane, non corrispondevano affatto, la doccia e il bagno erano in buone condizioni di lavoro. Abbiamo preso l'ascensore alle 9.30 del mattino successivo per controllare, e il cazzo della notte precedente era ancora davanti a uno degliascensori, e abbiamo deciso di ordinare caffè e scones al caffè. La foto sul loro sito web mostra una tazza di torta, piena di una varietà di dolci. La tazza di torta era vuota. Sembra che le sale commerciali ordinarie siano state chiuse. La tragedia di questa esperienza è che l'Hotel Royal Durban è sempre stato, da molti anni, uno degli hotel più famosi e popolari di Durban, che è stato regolarmente utilizzato da imprenditori e viaggiatori internazionali a Durban. Sembra che durante il nostro soggiorno vi sia stata una grande carenza di assistenza o di preoccupazione per gli ospiti di questo hotel. Questo hotel si trova nella piazza centrale dei giardini di Durban, e potrebbe essere insicuro per camminare fuori dall'hotel? Ci sono molti trappoli e pezzi di merda che si attengono, ma purtroppo non ci fermeremo di nuovo.

I'm sorry but this place may look nice on pictures and superficially nice but everything is cheap and service is quite poor. The plastic wood everywhere is tacky, windows are so thin you hear all the traffic on the roadside while on the yard side there is LOUD partying til very late. The staff assured me it would stop at 23, but this was not true, it continued til 2 am. The staff in reception seems truly clueless at most things, this is probably because they have no training and hardly any salary. The poor manager on duty seems to constantly have to rush and make right the various mistakes made, she seems to do nothing but apologise all day to costumers. The owners of the hotel clearly prioritise their own pockets over providing service. A few examples of cheapness: 1.No folder with information in the room - I am referred to the website. The tebsite says iron and ironing board in your room. I looked and looked, couldn't find it. I called reception and they said I can fetch it from the lobby (another hotel would have brought it to my room...). I went down to lobby, carried the ironing board up in the elevator etc. to my room and then found the iron to be old and dirty, it dirtied my blouse and the steam function didn't work properly there was just a lot of water coming out, leaving water stains on my other top.... Just replace the iron when it is old? If a guest calls, deliver the iron and board to the room? Change the information on the web... not so difficult things if you want to make a good impression.. 2.My collegue had a paid and booked transport to the airport that had been forgotten by the staff despite that he reminded them a few hours before and they ensured him it was settled. Once it was due - no transport. He nearly missed his flight. The poor manager lady had to book an uber for him and give him cash... 3. I gave them laundry one morning, thinking it would be finished by the evening or the next day, like all other hotels. By next evening it was not finished (it was 3 small items, no dry cleaning). They seemed to be looking for it as if they had lost it. When I was checking out 2 days after handing in the laundry, the woman in reception admitted one of my tops had been lost... When I complained about this and point 4 below, they did offer compensation, but I had to send a recepit of a new top and fill in forms etc. hassle. 4. After a long week of work staying at this hotel I was looking forward to sleeping 8 hours until leaving on Saturday. The Friday partying however started already at 4 pm with a DJ. I had the room facing the courtyard and asked the manager how long the partying would continue. Oh we have a curfew at eleven in Durban, she said, it will definitely be quiet after that! I’m not from South Africa so I believed her and felt OK I can sleep from 11 to 8 am, that’s OK. My room turned out to be just above the party and it felt like it was IN my room. I was trying to finalise my work from 21.00 to 23.00 with the boomi

Amorevole la sezione della piscina, l'hotel è più vicino alla spiaggia 🏖, è stato così conveniente per noi andare alla spiaggia in qualsiasi momento, il colazione è stato il migliore, il servizio in camera è stato sempre in tempo, il check-in e il check-out è stato veloce. Migliore esperienza mai 😊😊

L'hotel è ok e tutto tranne il parcheggio è molto piccolo e limitato Ho dovuto parcheggiare il mio bakkie nel parcheggio dall'altra parte della strada ma c'è una guardia 24 ore su 24

L'hotel è in una grande posizione e il personale è stato utile e amichevole. Non mi piaceva particolarmente il menu di servizio ristorante/sala, perché aveva solo le latte sul loro menu delle bevande. Devi chiedere di altre bevande come vino, succhi, caffè, ecc. Sarebbe più bello se fossero stati elencati tutti i prezzi delle bevande, la caldaia nella mia stanza era sporca, ma la casa era pura, e il divano era scusante e la sostituiva con una caldaia pulita. Ogni caffè o ristorante intorno all'hotel si apre al 9a.m, quindi consiglio di pagare per il buffet del colazione dell'hotel se sei un uccello precoce come me. Ho imparato a scaricare il carico dopo aver tornato da un giorno all'altro e a trovare nessuna potenza, eccetto una luce e la TV nella mia stanza. Per gli ospiti stranieri che non ne sanno, potrebbe essere un bel toccamento se l'hotel potesse mettere il programma di scarico nelle camere degli ospiti, in modo che non sia una sorpresa disgustosa.Il letto era comodo e il wifi era di solito veloce. In generale, ho avuto un buon soggiorno all'hotel.

Umhlanga is a beautiful location, it is safe, clean and easy going. There is a nearby beach 🏖 with an amazing whale bone pier and stunning views. The large gateway mall is a 7-10mins walk and is filled with all kinds of entertainment, food, shopping experiences you may need. The hotel service is good. Ultimate highlight of my trip was the pool 🏊‍♀️ clean and never busy.

Le strutture dell'hotel sono nuove, la stanza è abbastanza grande e la colazione è anche buona.Qui sotto è una strada del bar, e il cibo e il bicchiere sono comodi.C'è un supermercato e un negozio di spa e comodo per gli acquisti.Ti piace lo sport può andare a circa 200 metri a piedi lungo la spiaggia.
