Dunedin: hotel con bar

This hotel is very self effacing. It says it is a 4 star but in fact it is better than that! Upon arrival we were welcomed and were lucky enough to be given an upgrade to a one bedroom suite. The room was absolutely spotless and the the servicing of the room was faultless! The bar is pleasant and service second to none! The restaurant was special. The food was at a very high standard as was the service! We loved this hotel and will stay there whenever we are in Dunedin

This pub-diner was a great experience, steeped in history and with a plentiful display of historic photos, including one of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh waving to the crowds from the balcony as part of their coronation tour in 1954. Dopo aver soggiornato a Beechwood, Distinzione, Quest e molti degli hotel di Dunedin, pensavo che questo non meritasse di essere ignorato - e sono davvero felice di averlo scelto. Anche la stazione di caffè era unica. Non posso aspettare di tornare l'anno prossimo, grazie!

Room is very clean and very well presented. Bed is very soft and comfortable. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. The location is perfect, walking distance to the city. The only downside is the parking as you need to book a head of time due to limited space but it would be more convenient to all having its parking available. Otherwise our stay was absolutely 👍🏻 .😊

Economy room was perfect for a night when visiting for graduation. Peter was great host, as was Jacqueline 2nd day. Clean and comfortable room, great shower. Nice and quiet on 2nd floor. Cooked breakfast in large stunning dining room was fantastic. Chef made me an omelette since I don't eat meat. Walking distance to most areas. Free parking across busy road

I picked this hotel because it was an ideal location for me and I was able to walk to where I needed to be each day, so I didn't need a rental car for 4 days! The rooms were warm, beds were very comfortable and the room was clean and tidy -definitely value for money and provided the basics. They can only fit so much into a room and provide the basics for what you're paying per night. The bar itself was great, loyal locals, typical pub food, and nice warm fire. I spent a few hours based in here doing my work and it was just fine. If you want all the bells and whistles, go somewhere else and pay more. Reviewers that knock these sort of places need to realistic about what to expect, or go and pay more and stay somewhere else.
