Great stay at Dumfries Staff were very friendly and helpful , Food was great, would highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure . Rooms were nice and clean and very comfortable. Had to pay extra for the mixed grill as it's not part of the meal deal apparently, but didn't mind too much as it was very nice

We visited for a 4 day break . We have stayed here a couple of times before . We have always been happy with the service from both hotel and restaurant but this visit the food in the restaurant was excellent. Each meal we had including the breakfast was far better than we have had at any Premier Inn . All the staff went above and beyond and the service was also excellent. Angela at breakfast was particularly pleasant and very friendly. We will definitely be returning in the future and will recommend to our friends who also use numerous Premier Inns . Just hoping the breaks we've got booked at Wales will live up to the excellent standard we have just experienced at Dumfries. Thankyou to all staff involved and hopefully see you soon .

Staff were great the whole time. Really attentive and nothing was any problem. Angela at breakfast was brilliant. Rooms comfortable as always. Great range of choices at breakfast. We arrived slightly later for breakfast so hot food was winding down but Angela made sure we could get anything fresh from the kitchen.

The highlight of our breakfast experience was the warm friendly welcome given by Angela. She then looked after us ensuring our needs were being met. We found our bedroom was clean and maintained to the usual Premier Inn high standard. Our request for a particular room was met.

Stayed for two nights again. The experience was a lot better than the last time thanks to two people primarily - the reception staff that checked me in on the first day, and the lady who is in charge of breakfast in the mornings. The room is a lot more comfortable with a walk-in shower, air conditioning and a chair to sit in! All I got the previous time was a bed.

We had a nice stay room was good. The Water for the shower was nice and hot, plenty of parking and option to have dinner, easy hotel to find and clean place to stay. reception could be better but the ladies at breakfast were fantastic. Overall a good stay

Angela who worked the breakfast shift was so helpful and cheerful. Went out of her way to help us. She bought me cough sweets and gave us boxes to take extra food for our course so we didn’t go hungry. Very thoughtful and made the stay much better

Restaurant was very welcoming and the staff were very helpful. Very good service from everyone we met. We arrived as non residents , looking for a cup of tea. It was towards the end of breakfast service, but we were very warmly welcomed. Would definitely come back

The room was very comfortable and warm despite the bitterly cold weather. I noticed that a fan was provided presumably for hot days in the summer! The breakfast was good and generous - could have been a bit warmer but otherwise fine. Car parking is good. Location about 2 miles from the town centre but close to the by-pass. Staff friendly and helpful
