Hotel in zona 1916 Easter Rising Leaders Graveyard, Dublino

I visited the clink I lar hostel with two of my friends in February 2024. Now the staff was really friendly and lovely and the location was great. However, I was in a mixed room (with mostly men) because we were a group of 2 girls and one guy and the room was disgusting. There was absolutely no ventilation, windows didn’t open and there was no air conditioning so the room stank of body odour and sweat! It was very unpleasant… The bed layout was also really strange, two of the bunk bed sets, the ones at the corner of the room were sort of connected which meant that the man sleeping in the bed next to mine could just move his curtain and look into my bed, which he did and made me feel really uncomfortable. Other than that during our stay the kitchen was out of order which was also incredibly inconvenient because Dublin is so expensive. So in conclusion I would not really recommend if you’re a woman/queer person unless you stay in a private room or woman only room.

Myself & two friends checked in to a triple room (Room 7) on Friday 24th February 2023. The hotel room was dirty. The towels had “stains” on them and was not very clean at all. The bed mattresses had marks and stains on there and it felt very unclean. The room was unhygienic and extremely dusty. This reflects on your previous reviews from Trip Advisor. The window is rotting away and dirty, and in the morning, it was wet with condensation and the room made all our clothes and bedding feel damp and cold. On Saturday morning, there was no running water. When we spoke to someone at the hotel, they said it would be fixed that day. It was not. We spoke to someone again and they said the water would take time to come up to the room? We had no running water. Please be advised that one of the guests in the room is Disabled. He has a bowel condition meaning that he has to change his external stoma every day. Being unable to hygienically wash was a challenge and could have caused infection or serious health concerns. We could not use taps to brush teeth, we could not shower, and most importantly, we could NOT flush the toilet chain. Meaning our facilities were redundant. We did not pay 400 euros, to stay in a hostel. This is what it felt like. We were told to shower in a “communal” shower downstairs on the first floor. That was absolutely disgusting. Unclean and unhygienic and the water trickled out of the head of the shower, which effectively means we did not feel clean once we “Showered”. We addressed this again on Sunday to a lady on reception and nothing was done about it. When we checked out on Monday, we spoke to a man on the reception desk who did not really take me very seriously. I explained the issues and he just stood there and smiled and didn’t even apologise or offer any refund for these issues. We did not pay 400 euros to stay in a hotel with a shared shower. This is not advertised as a shared bathroom and a hostel. It is advertised as a B&B. Yes, a B&B that cannot meet basic Health and safety regulations. I told him I would escalate to **********. I spoke to them today, and they advised they contacted the hotel, and they would call me regarding this, which they have not done. I am very disappointed that we paid hard earned money to stay at your hotel, yet the basic minimum requirements were not met of: Cleanliness Hygiene Running water Clean bedding and towels We have written for a refund. If not, we may take action.

Come detto nel titolo è principalmente un ostello, si trova nella parte nord della città, distante circa 10-15 minuti da O'Connell street ovvero una delle vie principali della città. Oltre che i classici servizi da ostello offre anche camere doppie sia con letti singoli sia matrimoniali, con o senza bagno in camera. A prescindere tutti potranno usufruire degli apprezzati spazi in comune come la sala dove mangiare e giocare a biliardo, la sala tv o il giardino che d'estate si anima creando un ambiente piacevole dove fare conoscenza. La colazione è sempre compresa nella tariffa della camera, si fa in autonomia e vi troverete marmellate, pane , cereali, succhi di frutta, latte, caffe e te. A 5 minuti dall'ostello troverete una fermata bus che vi porterà da e in aeroporto. Per chi cerca un ostello a Dublino il Gardiner House hostel sarà un'ottima scelta!

L'hotel ha una buona posizione, molto vicino al centro città. Le insoddisfazioni sono tre: Per prima cosa avevo prenotato un letto matrimoniale, ma si è scoperto che erano due letti singoli uniti, il che non era buono come una camera con letto matrimoniale. In secondo luogo, la stanza è troppo piccola, devi camminare di lato e non c'è posto dove appoggiare la valigia. Il bagno è più piccolo e accidentato. Una stanza così piccola è adatta solo per una persona, ma viene addebitata come una doppia. Terzo, non c'è nessun posto dove appendere i vestiti lavati. Non c'è un armadio, solo un gancio per appendere cappotti e cappelli. Nel complesso, è stato un soggiorno scomodo e non valeva il prezzo di 1.000 yuan a notte.

Ottima esperienza. Albergo molto bello. Letto comodissimo. Camere molto silenziose. Unico neo che deve essere letto come un consiglio per diventare struttura top: la pulizia delle camere :vengono fatte dopo le ore 15 e pertanto per noi che eravamo fuori tutta la mattina diventava scomodo. Lo abbiamo fatto presente e mi hanno accontentata. Non ho trovato diciamo una grande cura per la pulizia della camera che veniva fatta velocemente e non venivano cambiati i bicchieri in vetro in dotazione alla camera. La sera prima di andare via sono spariti gli accappatoi dopo le ore 19 che siamo andati a cena. Alle 23 rientrati non c’erano più … abbiamo chiamato la reception e subito sono venuti a portarceli di nuovo scusandosi. Colazione perfetta. Molto gradita l’acqua panna in camera ogni giorno e la nespresso Consiglierei la struttura a tutti Bellissimi i cigni che si trovano davanti all’albergo

La stanza è un po' calda e non respirabile. Il resto è buono. E'molto conveniente accanto alla stazione di autobus. Il tipo di colazione dell'hotel è meno, ma il servizio è buono. Il gusto può anche vivere quando viaggia a breve termine

The pictures made this place look so good but beware! My partner and I booked a 4 night stay and were excited to find a reasonably priced and cute looking place even if it was far from Dublin city center. The first room we were assigned was dirty including a used bottle of mouth wash on the floor of the room. After requesting a different room, we were moved down the hall to a new room. This one was dirty: *Toenail* on the floor, Bottle of febreeze on the counter, Smelled bad Disgusting lump of tape and something?? stuck to the wall Booger on the wall Stains There were also greasy smears on the night table and window sill. Pretty much you didn't want to touch anything. We were exhausted form a hectic day of travel so decided to grin and bear it for the night and then promptly cancelled the reservation the next morning. While the hotel refunded the remainder of the stay they did nothing to make up for the awful experience and significant inconvenience of having to re-book, change plans, etc. When I called to reach the property the next morning (no in person staff at the property which we knew), I was informed the manager would not be in until 10am. I called back at 10:05 and was informed the manager was still not in. Called back at 10:30, still not in. Finally, got a call around 10:40 from the manager who agreed to cancel the reservation after I told them how dirty the room*s* had been. In fairness, the bathroom and bed seemed pretty clean (and the portrait of Jonathan Rhys Meyers from The Tudors is hilarious). Save yourself a headache and frustration and book somewhere else. Worst stay I've had in a long time.

Da prenotare il nostro soggiorno all'uscita, tutta la nostra esperienza è stata eccellente. Questo è un hotel a 4 stelle, aeroporto, sì ... ma è la posizione del parcheggio, vicinanza alla città e decorazione che sarebbe a casa in un magnifico hotel boutique rende per un'esperienza complessivamente elevata. Nadia non avrebbe potuto fare di più per noi quando abbiamo chiamato a prenotare e lei ha davvero fissato il standard dal get. Il check-in era liscio e piacevole e mentre la stanza era probabilmente uno degli ultimi che non sono stati ristrutturati, era enorme, pulito, confortevole, elegante (forse molto leggermente datato) e aveva tutto quello che potevamo avere. Il letto era enorme e molto confortevole, la pressione del doccia era buona e le toilette erano tutte bellissime, e le piccoli snack erano anche di alta qualità e molto bello. Ogni altro membro del personale con cui interagiamo era estremamente professionale e personale, soprattutto il personale di attesa nel bar, dove erano 2 caffè molto bello, il colazione era anche estremamente buono e il check-out era veloce e indolore. Un taxi alla zona di Grafton St vi riporterà circa €20 e il numero 16 passerà, proprio fuori dal parco molto regolarmente. È così buono tutto in giro. Non potevo raccomandare questo hotel abbastanza alto. Penso che questo sia il miglior valore 4 Star a Dublino.

Le camere erano molto pulite e confortevoli, e il personale era molto accogliente (ho avuto un check-in alle 00:00 che pensavo potesse causare un problema, ma tutto andava molto bene), e si sono spostati per rendere il mio soggiorno comodo. Purtroppo, ho avuto solo un breve soggiorno, sono qui solo per due notti mentre visitavo mio figlio, ma consiglio molto questo hotel a chiunque si fermi a Tallaght e sarò di sicuro tornato nel mio prossimo viaggio.

Grande se si dispone di un volo dall'aeroporto di Dublino. Il bar era grande, ma ci sembrava che ci fosse un po' più di scelta di cibo nel ristorante e nel bar. La colazione era eccellente. Trasporti pubblici vicini alla città principale di Swords.
