Exquisite Hotel. Accommodation first Class. Food beautifully presented and delicious to eat. Free treats and Card in the room (209) for my birthday. Staff go out of their way to be helpful and always greet you with a smile and a 'Hello'. New decor/refurbishments are worthy of a picture/article in any magazine. Size of rooms, unbelievably large and I really mean LARGE. Very clean place. First stayed in Harvey's Point Hotel 2011 and have visited ever since, excluding the last 2-3 years - Covid. I enthuse all the time to my family and friends about Harvey's Point Hotel. My husband and I love, love, love the place. Just back yesterday from Harvey's...roll on our next break. Thank you to all the staff in Harvey's Point Hotel. Well done.

Greeted as soon as we walked through the front doors, checked in efficiently but not without due process and whisked up to our enormous rooms by a kindly doorperson, we settled into what can only be described as palatial surroundings for an unfortunately short stay. We soon retreated to the outdoor patio which was busy with weekend guests to refresh ourselves with some beverages and snacks and watch the world go by - and it did. There were children playing soccer on the lawn beside the patio, couples and families taking pictures by the lake and many groups celebrating special occasions. Obviously a favorite spot for Irish "locals" to gather and celebrate, whatever the special event. We dined in the hotel restaurant, where Daniella (???) regaled us with her wit and wisdom, helped us to choose the appropriate wine for our own celebration and made sure that we selected just the right dishes from a very interesting menu. All in all, a great stay, albeit too short!

Beautiful hotel. Stayed in executive suite as an anniversary present for my hubby Situated in a tranquil scenic part of Donegal. Staff very friendly, always helpful. Food was amazing. So much locally produced products. Definitely we be returning.

This is heaven on earth. It is so tranquil and the staff are fantastic nothing is too much trouble for them. This was our third stay this year alone and have visited many times over the years and hopefully will visit many more. The food is superb and the breakfasts are amazing.

From the moment we arrived, we were given the red carpet treatment. A cozy, crackling fire eased the chill and warmed our hearts. Aelis was amazing! She greeted us and gave us ideas on how to top up our time at the nearby village. All of the staff was welcoming and considerate. We felt like celebrities on holiday!

Just an amazing hotel and staff , we had our 8th wedding anniversary back at the place we got married and had our reception, Harvey's Point is still the best hotel we have ever stayed at and not just because of the beautiful views or the fabulous rooms or the most gorgeous tasting food, but ALL THE STAFF from the receptionist to the concierge to the waiters and waitresses and cooks and also the cleaners , every single staff member we met had a smile and said hello or good day and made us feel so special , we would like to especially thank Saarlaith and Estephan who made our wedding anniversary dinner even more special just two lovely young people who couldn't do anymore for us and made us feel so special and your smiles and laughs just lit up the room we hope you get the recognition you deserve, this hotel will always be close to our hearts and keep up the great work you are all doing thanks again and health to you all Deirdre and Steve.

Harvey's Point is a fabulous place in a fabulous location overlooking Lough Eske. We used our terrace both mornings and evenings to enjoy the view and the peace. There is obviously only one bar and restaurant so 2 nights was the right amount of time to spend there.

Beautiful place and setting - I stayed in a lakeside suite. Glad I realized the nearby castle hotel is NOT on the lake, about a mile away. There are great country road loop walks along Lake Eske and up past pastures, lots of wildflowers, sheep, horses and donkeys near Harvey’s Point.

We have been to Harvey’s Point on many occasions. We were last there in September 2020 so we were really looking forward to our return visit. We stayed in a Mountain View balcony room which we loved as we had afternoon sun. We were on the 5 Days In Donegal package. We did this twice before and loved everything about it. This time, however, the food was a little disappointing. We swapped one of our nights to dine in the terrace bar instead. We were very happy with the more casual dining. I would love to have this as an option on the package. Although the Lakeshore set menu is priced @ €69 per person it did not cover our €103 for 2 people in the bar. We paid a €3 supplement on our final bill which I thought was a little petty. Having said that, it did not take from the great time we had. The room, while smaller than the various other rooms we have stayed in, was very comfortable with a great bathroom and welcome air conditioning. The staff, without exception, were fantastic. I feel it would be unfair to single anyone out for special mention as everyone was so cheerful and helpful. We had been unable to visit in the past few years. We went with a view to giving it one last hurrah, but we both agree it’s back on an annual basis. Many thanks.
