Hotel molto bello e pulitissimo. Situato vicino al Souq Waqif. Camere con bagno ampio, un po’ piccole per aggiungere il terzo letto ma sono disponibili le camere di categoria superiore che invece sono molto ampie, con un doppio vano, con un lato salotto con divani. Abbiamo cenato in camera perché giunti in tarda notte e il cibo di ottima qualità e a prezzi non esorbitanti per essere un room service. La colazione è in un ristorante molto raccolto e citatissima nella qualità dei prodotti con personale di una gentilezza e professionalità unica. Impianto di condizionamento perfetto e silenziosissimo. Piscina pulita e accogliente . Spa bellissima. Albergo con sicurezza all’entrata . Escursioni organizzate dal concierge in maniera eccellente. Abbiamo soggiornato in una suite dell'hotel Arumaila, in famiglia. La catena alberghiera Tivoli è dislocata in vari punti del souq e si sviluppa come un albergo diffuso, pertanto la colazione veniva offerta in un altro edificio e la piscina era in un altro ancora. Tutti molto vicini ma l'hotel mette comunque a disposizione delle navette gratuite al bisogno. L'idea è carina, ma bisogna esserne consapevoli e nè sui maggiori siti di prenotazione, nè sul loro sito ufficiale questa particolarità viene spiegata. Sinceramente io l'avevo letto da un'altra recensione e quindi credo serva un po' più di chiarezza nella descrizione dei servizi. La stanza era molto pulita, il letto ed i cuscini di qualità, il bagno davvero grande. Capsule di caffè Lavazza in omaggio quotidianamente e un servizio di pulizie che riforniva puntualmente ed in abbondanza del necessario per l'igiene personale. Lo staff si è mostrato sempre estremamente cordiale ed attento ad ogni richiesta. La colazione è abbastanza ricca, ce n'è in abbondanza, rispecchia uno standard alto ma dopo diversi giorni diventa un po' monotona. Penso che questo sia un dettaglio un po' trascurato in quanto la maggior parte degli ospiti ne usufruisce per poche mattinate (Doha spesso è una meta di passaggio) e non ha modo di rendersene conto. Noi abbiamo soggiornato per una decina di giorni, invece. In ogni caso l'abbiamo ritenuta soddisfacente. Unica nota dolente la piscina...carina, abbastanza grande ma piuttosto trascurata. Spesso non si reperiva il personale, nelle docce era predisposto un servizio di dispenser con shampoo, balsamo e sapone, ma in 10 giorni non sono mai stati riempiti, al punto che mi sono fatta portare dei campioncini da stanza per potermi lavare. Nulla di grave, ma se va rispettato uno standard 5 stelle... Il vero problema, però, erano i piccioni...un intero lato non era praticabile a causa delle deiezioni dei volatili che, ogni 5 minuti, si ammassavano sul bordo per bere rilasciando gli escrementi nell'acqua...capisco che sia difficile risolvere un simile problema, ma il rischio è di tuffarsi in un'acqua decisamente contaminata. Comunque, tralasciando il discorso piscina, il resto è stato tutto all'altezza delle aspettative, la posizione è ottima e ci ritorneremmo volentieri.

Sono stata in questo hotel col mio gruppo di 12 persone a dicembre 2021/gennaio 2022, ho trascorso 5 gg per visitare Doha e il Qatar in un periodo sicuramente non facile per il turismo. La posizione è ottima, a 5 minuti a piedi dal Souq e difronte alla linea metropolitana Souq Wakif (linea oro) ed al centro studi islamici: le camere tutte spaziose e molto comode, letti grandi, lenzuola e asciugamani perfetti. Davvero super per quanto si paga. Purtroppo in periodo pandemia non abbiamo potuto provare la colazione al ristorante e non erano attrezzati ne per tea o caffè nella hall immagino per lo stesso motivo,ma le camere hanno tutte angolo cottura con micro onde bollitore e altre amenities , quelle d'angolo anche una *****ola bar. la mia camera dava sulla corniche e sul centro degli studi islamici, bellissima. peccato per i cantieri e lavori continui che avvolgono Doha per i prossimi mondiali di calcio; il generatore sotto l'hotel mi ha ucciso il sonno ma immagino in altri periodi si starà meglio. Alla reception personale gentile, non brillantissimo per capire le prenotazioni, ma il direttore Mr. Kaan ed un suo vice presente in hotel di cui non ricordo il nome, molto disponibili e risolutivi. La palestra è piccina ma ha diversi attrezzi, la piscina + una vasca e senza vista all'interno di un piano. Nulla di che. Non hanno navetta per/da aeroporto, potrebbero pensarci. Per il resto ripeto tutto ottimo sopratutto la posizione, lo consiglio senza dubbi. Unico neo, se posso, al termine della permanenza 2 ragazze del gruppo sono risultate positive al covid 19 ma senza sintomi pertanto dovevano trattenersi almeno 7 gg per ripetere il test, come il Qatar dispone. Appena comunicato alla reception le hanno letteralmente messe in strada mentre in altre strutture di pari livello dove soggiornavano gruppi paralleli, hanno permesso ai turisti di permanere nella stanza fino a termine quarantena, chiaramente non uscendo e non venendo pulite le camere. Questo mi ha molto stupita, in un periodo così difficile mettere alla porta 2 clienti che sono stati ospiti per 5 gg alle 20 di notte non è stato affatto bello.

Just a short ride from Hamad International Airport ($5 Uber) and another short ride to the Al Corniche Street area to see many sites ($3 Uber) is this incredible Holiday Inn, I have never experienced a Holiday Inn like this before. Very reasonably priced that includes breakfast , a breakfast that you would see in high end restaurants, the staff is spot on and easy to communicate with, taking the time to talk and explain in detail your every concerns. The conversation always ends in a “ no problem sir” for example: I have a late flight leaving Doha today, asked for a late check out “no problem sir” asked at breakfast if I may return for breakfast after sitting for coffee “no problem sir” I was going to jot down names of the people who helped me….. everyone that I spoke with helped me! No need to look for any other hotels, this place is it. Many options for food and drinks on site, exercise facilities are immaculate, pool is inviting and the rooms are spacious.

Booked as a Qatar Airways stopover package and a most disappointing experience. We organised an airport transfer as arrived in early hours - not arranged. No reply to multiple emails prior to our arrival. On arriving at the hotel the reception staff were unfriendly and ridiculously slow with our check-in - we were the only guests at 0100! Throughout our stay the reception was unfailingly inefficient, unhelpful and discourteous - which was sadly also our experience with most of the staff we encountered. Clearly no effort made on customer service training. This hotel is in the older part of town and is clearly nearing, if not passed, the end of its working life and is now surrounded by building sites. The room was grubby - stained carpets, walls & bedding with a bed with a noticeable central dip. As remarked on in other reviews the shower surround leaks badly and the bathroom floor rapidly becomes a dangerous surface. The whole bathroom is mouldy and has not been addressed since at least 2015 judging by other reviews. As for facilities - the gym is functionally useless as the machines are old and broken. The rooftop pool is usable but small. We did, however, have a pleasant massage in the spa area. The 1st floor restaurant serves buffet meals - after having breakfast which consistent of an eclectic and random mix of foods none of which made a breakfast menu we declined to try the other meals there. The rooftop restaurant does have great views and after having to convince the waitress to serve us (see customer service training above!) we received an average but expensive meal. Whilst conveniently located for the National Museum of Qatar (well worth a visit) it is a taxi ride (Uber is available in the city and to - but not from - the airport) so take a taxi to any other eating establishment. Better still avoid this hotel and book any hotel in the newer areas of the city. This is not a 4 star hotel and Qatar Airways have done the hotel services and the city a huge disservice by recommending it in the first place. If you are transiting and only need a bed for the night then this might suffice for the price, and proximity to the airport. However for a holiday then avoid - there are better and better value hotels in Doha.

Lo apprezzo per essere cauti. Hanno i mezzi per sanare i loro ospiti in arrivo. Tuttavia, non capisco perché non potevano dare la carta chiave al momento del check-in. Per quanto mi riguarda, non l'ho nemmeno ottenuto. Il menu che hanno nella mia precedente stanza non è nuovo, quindi sono i prezzi. Lo conosco dal pranzo in stanza. Questo è in realtà inappropriato. Devono rimuovere il vecchio menu perché è sbagliato. Inoltre, non mi piace come la signora dell'IRD che ha preso il mio ordine di colazione il 9 giugno. Sembra che mi stia dicendo che non so i loro prezzi. Solo un ricordo, non significa che siamo entrambi la stessa nazionalità che puoi trattarmi così. Chiunque sia o qualunque cosa sia, dovresti sapere come affrontare l'ospite.

I had a very pleasant stay. The staff was really helpful and courteous. The location of the hotel is great and close to everything at a strategic position, it is 15 minutes walking away from the traditional market ( souq waqif ) and 10 minutes away from airport and only 5 minutes walking away from museum Merton station. It has spacious rooms and nicely decorated. Very clean and staff friendly
