Having stayed here, recently, on business, I felt very privileged to have stayed in such an old prestigious Inn. Staff were friendly and accommodating. There wasn’t anything they would not do for me, if it was within their capabilities. This was even providing a toothbrush and toothpaste as I had forgotten mine! The menu had everything for everybody. I had the venison Wellington, this is the best I had ever tasted. However, if I wanted ham egg and chips, this was also available. The room I had was the smallest without an ensuite. This served me well, there was a dressing robe in the wardrobe for my privacy, popping to my bathroom across the hall. There was a hand basin within the room. The price reflected this at only a £60 for single occupancy, bed and breakfast. The breakfast in the morning, although after having the venison the night before I probably had eyes bigger than my belly. There was so much to choose from - devilled kidneys if you’re brave, but I highly recommend the full English, which sets you up for the day, plenty of tea and coffee, plenty of toast and a starter of yoghurt porridge or granola. I will certainly be back. I am so used to being booked in to travel lodges or Premier Inns. Yes they might have Wi-Fi but hands down the NoBody Inn wins my approval. Thank you so much for making a single women traveller feel welcomed. Nothing was too much trouble 🩷 Barley the Inn’s Labrador is the best
